Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of tourist facilities in the Kapalo Banda Taram Attraction, Limapuluh Kota Regency. This research is descriptive research with qualitative data and uses a survey method. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. informants in this research were the fifty city district tourism offices, the guardian of Nagari Taram, the manager, the Pokdarwis of the Kapalo Banda Taram attraction, visitors and the surrounding community. This research uses a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research as a whole show that the tourist facilities at the Kapalo Banda Taram Attraction, Limapuluh Kota Regency, have added parking to the main facilities, the management always maintains the cleanliness of the facilities and the management sets regulations for every tourist who visits to maintain the cleanliness of the facilities and always carry out control over every main facility provided, then at the supporting facilities, plans are made to replace the prayer room carpet, ensure the cleanliness of the facility equipment such as washing worship equipment once a week, cleaning the rubbish bins in the morning and always checking the cleanliness of the toilets, finally the supporting facilities are planning to hold The souvenir kiosk previously caught fire, the management is also active in offering existing souvenirs and currently there are no supporting facilities due to the fire.

Abstract

This research is driven by the researcher's observations concerning online hotel booking intention on the Agoda platform. The development of guest visit rates has experienced a significant decline, with fewer guests opting to check in using the Agoda platform compared to other online travel agents. This is influenced by the perceived lack of usefulness and ease of use on the Agoda website. The objective of this study is to describe and analyze the impact of usefulness and ease of use on online hotel booking intention on the Agoda platform. The research methodology employed is quantitative research using purposive sampling, with a sample size of 130 respondents determined using the Hair formula. Data collection in this study utilized a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 27.00. Based on the research analysis, it can be concluded that the independent variables, usefulness (X1) and ease of use (X2), have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, which is online hotel booking intention. Usefulness (X1) and ease of use (X2) collectively account for 24.7% of the variance in online hotel booking intention (Y), while the remaining 75.3% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the intention phenomenon to revisit the Alahan Panjang destination. The length is influenced by the tourist destination image and the attributes of the tourist destination in Alahan Panjang. Several tourist reviews state that the tourist destination Alahan Panjang is not Recommended for those who re-visit and haven't experienced the attraction yet impressive for tourists. This research aims to analyze the tourist destination image and attributes of the Alahan Panjang tourist destination. In this research using quantitative methods, the research type used in this research is causal associative or cause-effect relationships. Data was obtained from survey results by distributing questionnaires to respondents which is the object of research. The average for the tourist destination image variable is 4.112 with criteria Good. The tourist destination attribute variable has an average of 3.996 with Good criteria. Then The tourist destination attribute variable has an average of 4.016 with Good criteria. So therefore There is a positive and significant influence between the image of a tourist destination and interest in visiting repeated the tourist. There is also an influence between tourist destination attributes and interest in visiting repeated the tourist. Destination image variables and tourist destination attributes have an impact on variable interest in revisiting, then H1, H2 and H3 are accepted.

Abstract

This research began when the researchers offered traditional food product "Cassava leaf dendeng" to tourists, while introducing a new innovation from the creativity of the local community. "Cassava leaf dendeng" originates from South Solok. However, when offering the product, none of the tourists were interested in trying it because they couldn't imagine the taste of "Cassava leaf dendeng". Through this research, the researchers aimed to understand consumers' perceptions of the traditional food "Cassava leaf dendeng”. This research is of descriptive type. The sample in this research consists of ten individuals, selected with a distribution of three culinary teachers, four tourists from North Sumatra, and three local residents. Data collection was carried out using purposive sampling, and the data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that "Cassava leaf dendeng" with a dark green color is more preferred, and the flattened shape results in a crunchier texture. A milder aroma of "Cassava leaf dendeng" is more appealing. The seasoning used in "Cassava leaf dendeng" is savory and sweet, but it would be even better when served with sambal.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Governance and Service Activities for TEFA Edutourism Polije. SOP development is one of the eight requirements in the effort to establish TEFA Edutourism Polije. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection using observation, interviews, FGD, documentation and literature study. Activities carried out in this research include identifying Edutourism activities, identifying stakeholders, as well as identifying tasks and work procedures at TEFA Edutourism Polije. The main activity in Edutourism consists of visits to several TEFAs developed in Polije. The parties involved include Public Relations, the Integrated Agricultural Academic Services Unit (UPA) and the Food Product Development, Management and Packaging Academic Services Unit (UPA) which manages various TEFAs at Polije. The results of this research are, Administrative SOPs and TEFA Edutourism Polije Service SOPs. It is hoped that the SOP created can support the development of TEFA Edutourism Polije.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of Servicescape and Perceived Value on Repurchase Intention at Hotel Balairung Jakarta, which is based on guest reviews on Google Review, Tiket.com and Traveloka regarding Hotel Balairung Jakarta. This research purpose to reveal the Servicescape and Perceived Value influence on Repurchase Intention at Hotel Balairung Jakarta. The research type used was quantitative descriptive with a causal associative approach, the sampling technique used purposive sampling which was applied to 317 respondents. The technique for data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The technique for data analysis including of data description, analysis requirements test with test of normality, heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity as well as hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression tests using SPSS version 26.00.

Abstract

One of the factors that influences guest satisfaction is service quality. One effort to improve service quality is through the Housekeeping Department, in the Room Attendant section. These efforts can be enhanced through management and operational levels. Therefore, it is important to know the efforts made by the Grand Mercure Solo Baru Hotel to improve the quality of hotel services through the Room Attendant section. The research approach used in this research is a qualitative research approach. Primary data through direct observation in the field, in-depth interviews with sources, Executive Housekeeper, Casual Housekeeping Supervisor, field documentation in the form of field photos, and official documents provided legally. Secondary data uses articles, books and so on. The research instruments used in this research were observation and in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification, final conclusions. Based on research, it was found that efforts to improve the quality of room attendant services through the managerial level are to hold routine training every 4 months, tightening the SOP for Room Attendants. At the operational level, the focus is on employee attitudes towards guests, including a clean and neat appearance according to SOPs and behavior with the 5S principles (smile, greet, salute, be polite, courteous).

Abstract

Ulos is traditional Batak clothing and found only during traditional ceremonies but with the current generation who are increasingly forgetting the culture for ulos development. Using case study and idea of ulos cultural innovation design with motifs found from goods that can be carried anywhere by the wearer. And not only Batak people who use ulos. The purpose of this study is to identify cultural innovation ulos design will promote tourism ulos Batak in Toba. Ulos design innovation has had the effect of developing Lake Toba and promote as a tourist destination for ulos locations.

Abstract

Maimun Palace is a historic building built during the 9th Malay Sultan Deli Dynasty or Sultan Ma'moen Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah. Construction of this building began on 26 August 1888 and ended on 18 May 1891. Maimun Palace is the Palace of the Deli Sultanate which is one of the tourism icons located in Medan City, North Sumatra. This research uses qualitative methods which can be obtained through observation of the palace. Maimun, the aim of this research is to find out how the Maimun Palace is said to be a tourism icon and to identify strategies for the Maimun Palace as a tourism icon for the city of Medan. The results of this research show that the Maimun Palace is said to be a tourism icon for the city of Medan because the main attraction of the Maimun Palace lies in its architecture. There is a combination of several cultures that influence the appearance of the Maimun Palace. Making the Maimun Palace an icon of the city of Medan because of its lack of natural potential, through nature reserves (heritage) it can increase tourism in Indonesia. So, in order to increase tourism potential in the city of Medan, Maimun Palace was made an icon of the city of Medan.

Abstract

Culinary tourism is a part of tourism. The variety of culinary delights available in each region can be developed as an attraction for tourists to visit an area, this phenomenon can also be seen in the city of Medan. The great potential in Medan city has not been supported by adequate information about Medan’s culinary wealth. Many factors cause a lack of information for tourists. Therefore this study aims to: 1). Especially the types and culinary potential typical of Medan, North Sumatra, 2). Avoiding the problems encountered in developing culinary specialties of Medan in supporting tourism potential in the city of Medan. This research uses a type of qualitative research, and descriptive data analysis techniques, which will discuss what potential it has and how to develop it. The results of the study show that there is potential for culinary tourism that can be developed as a tourist attraction in the city of Medan, 1). Culinary tours in the field include rujak kolam, mie aceh titi bobrok, tip top restaurant and ucok durian, 2). The problem that is often faced in the development of culinary tourism in the city of Medan is the lack of promotion and expansion of marketing both through print and electronic media.
