Abstract

This study aims to describe how parents perceive the influence of peers on the development and behavior of students at the primary school level. The background of this study is based on the important role of the social environment, especially peers, in shaping children's character, which cannot be fully replaced by the family environment. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to 30 parents of elementary school students. The results showed that the majority of respondents (60%) considered peers to be very important and acknowledged a great influence on children's behavior (66.7%). However, the level of concern over potential negative impacts was also quite high, with 70% of respondents expressing great concern. These findings identify parents' awareness of the importance of social interactions for children's development, while also pointing to the need for active parental assistance. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration between families and schools in creating a healthy social environment, to support children's optimal character development.

Abstract

This study aims to identify: (1) how students' social-emotional development occurs during the learning process, (2) social-emotional development outside the learning context, and (3) teacher strategies in supporting this development. The results of the study indicate that in the classroom, students show positive attitudes such as actively participating, communicating and interacting, being able to adapt in groups, and being confident. Outside the classroom, students are seen to be able to help friends, not force their desires, being able to resolve conflicts while playing, and being able to control their emotions. Teachers' efforts in supporting social-emotional development include building positive relationships, being role models, and providing consistent guidance and direction.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era requires teachers to not only master technical competencies but also be able to integrate ethical values, empathy, and innovation in learning practices. This study aims to analyze in depth the relationship between the four concepts and their relevance to the demands of the teaching profession in the modern era that is all connected. The research method used is library research, namely by collecting data and information from various secondary sources such as scientific journals, books, articles, and relevant documents. The results of the study show that the teaching profession in the Society 5.0 era is not only required to have technical (professional) competencies, but must also reflect a strong attitude of professionalism and professionalism in facing the challenges of digital transformation. Professionalism includes the ability of teachers to continue to learn, adapt, and innovate, while professionalism reflects moral and ethical integrity in carrying out their duties. In conclusion, the relationship between the four concepts is an important foundation for teachers to remain relevant and effective in responding to educational needs in the Society 5.0 era, where technology and humanism must complement each other.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the frequency of playing online games on the academic performance of middle school students. Using a quantitative approach, the research involved 150 students randomly selected from several schools in city X. Data were collected through questionnaires about the duration of online game play and academic scores, which were then analyzed using Pearson correlation tests and simple linear regression. The results showed a significant negative correlation between the duration of online game play and students' academic performance (r = -0.62, p < 0.01). This means that the more time students spend playing online games, the lower their academic achievements. Regression analysis revealed that online game play accounted for 38.4% of the variation in academic performance. These findings suggest that excessive online gaming can interfere with students' focus and motivation to study. Therefore, it is important for students, parents, and educators to regulate the time spent on online games to avoid negatively impacting learning quality. This study also highlights the importance of good time management as a key factor in supporting students' academic success in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of collaborative governance in immigration services through a case study of the cooperation between the Immigration Office and the Public Service Mall (MPP). A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore the dynamics, challenges, and successes of inter-agency collaboration in the context of public service delivery. The findings indicate that this collaboration improves service effectiveness, shortens processing time, and increases public satisfaction. However, several challenges remain, including inter-institutional coordination, limited technological infrastructure, and differences in organizational culture that must be addressed strategically. This research contributes to the development of collaborative governance in the public sector and highlights the importance of system integration and community participation in building sustainable services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of collaborative governance in immigration management in the border region of North Kalimantan, Indonesia, using the Collaborative Governance framework proposed by Ansell and Gash (2008). Employing a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, the findings reveal that current collaborative practices remain partial and are predominantly characterized by administrative cooperation rather than substantive, iterative collaboration. Key barriers include unequal institutional capacities, non-inclusive institutional design, lack of facilitative leadership, and limited trust and open communication among stakeholders. Although formal forums such as TIMPORA have been established, collaboration still relies heavily on personal relations and lacks an integrated information system. The study recommends strengthening institutional design, enhancing resource capacities, and fostering collaborative leadership that emphasizes sustainability and transparency.

Abstract

This research is based on the atmosphere and condition of the class during learning which tends to be passive. Students assume that social studies lessons that take place in class are always boring and difficult lessons that affect their learning outcomes. Students who have low learning outcomes tend to be passive during learning. Efforts that can be made to overcome these problems so that learning is no longer boring are to create a pleasant learning atmosphere by using interesting, appropriate and good learning methods, one of which is by using the outdoor learning method. The outdoor learning method is one method that can make students active and enthusiastic in learning which can affect better learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The use of the outdoor learning method can improve student learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of this study is (1) To determine the effect of outdoor learning methods on students' learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect of social studies subjects for class VIII at MTs Darissulaimaniyyah Kamulan Durenan Trenggalek (2) To determine the effect of outdoor learning methods on students' learning outcomes in the affective aspect of social studies subjects for class VIII at MTs Darissulaimaniyyah Kamulan Durenan Trenggalek (3) To determine the effect of outdoor learning methods on students' learning outcomes in the psychomotor aspect of social studies subjects for class VIII at MTs Darissulaimaniyyah Kamulan Durenan Trenggalek. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type (Quasy Experimental Design) and the research design used is a posttest-only control group design. The results of the study indicate that (1) The outdoor learning method has an effect on students' learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect of the social studies subject of class VIII MTs Darissulaimaniyyah Kamulan Durenan Trenggalek. This is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ho is rejected, H1 is accepted. (2) The outdoor learning method has an effect on students' learning outcomes in the affective aspect of the social studies subject of class VIII MTs Darissulaimaniyyah Kamulan Durenan Trenggalek. This is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ho is rejected, H1 is accepted. Abstract

Instagram has become a significant source of information, including in the field of mental health. The @anti.manipulasi account consistently shares educational content about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), helping raise public awareness—especially for individuals affected by NPD—while demonstrating the role of technology in supporting mental health understanding. This study aims to analyze how educational content on NPD is presented and disseminated through the @anti.manipulasi Instagram account, and to examine users’ perceptions of such content. This research adopts a qualitative method using a virtual netnography approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the encoding process—how messages are crafted and shared—is carried out through structured content strategies, narrative and persuasive language, and the use of various Instagram features to distribute information about NPD. The content dissemination is considered an effective encoding process. Users’ perceptions of NPD content on @anti.manipulasi are overwhelmingly positive, appreciating it as accurate and helpful information. These audience responses reflect a dominant decoding position, in which users interpret the content in line with the intended message constructed by the content creator.

Abstract

The ability of writing essay skills of students in grade VII The use of verbs, sentence structures, use of pronouns and prepositions in writing narrative text essays of students is still lacking. This study aims to analyze language errors in writing narrative text essays of grade VII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data of this study are student worksheets in writing narrative text essays. The data sources in this study were grade VII-A students of UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli and one of the Indonesian language teachers. The research instruments were documentation in the form of photos, notes, documents, archives and pictures. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and written tests. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, categorization of language errors, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study, the errors expressed in the students' narrative text compositions were 87% errors which included: (1) inconsistent verb forms totaling 8 errors, (2) inappropriate verb selection totaling 9 errors, (3) use of passive verbs totaling 14 errors, (4) sentences that are too long and complicated totaling 15 errors, (5) subject and predicate errors increased by 9, (6) errors in the use of punctuation 8, (7) incompatibility between pronouns and their predecessors totaling 5 errors, (8) repeated use of pronouns totaling 6 errors, (9) errors in the choice of prepositions totaling 7 errors and (10) use of unnecessary prepositions totaling 6 errors. The students' ability to write narrative text compositions in the use of verbs totaling 31 errors, structure totaling 32 errors, pronoun sentences and prepositions totaling 24 errors.

Abstract

The novel Perempuan di Titik Nol is a literary work that explicitly discusses the issue of gender injustice experienced by women in a patriarchal society. This novel tells the story of Firdaus, a woman who lives in poverty and experiences various forms of oppression, from sexual violence to economic exploitation.This study aims to describe the representation of gender roles and building elements in the novel "Perempuan di Titik Nol". The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this study is to observe and record. The data analysis technique used by the researcher uses data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification (conclusion drawing/verification). Based on the results of the study, there are 5 representations of gender roles in the novel "Perempuan di Titik Nol', namely; marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence and workload. From the results of the five representations above, there are several quotes including; marginalization (2 quotes), subordination (2 quotes), stereotypes (3 quotes), violence (3 quotes) and workload (1 quote). With two elements of novel building, namely intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements.
