Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the level of ability to listen to German language texts for class XII students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection uses a written test or objective test which consists of multiple choice, true-false and questionnaire. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The population in this study were class XII students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar, which consisted of 4 classes with 144 students. The sample of this research was students of class XII IPA 3 as many as 33 students who were selected using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the ability to listen to German language texts for class XII students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar is in the sufficient category (65%).Keyword: Language ability, Text, German Language

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and results of German vocabulary improvement using Busuu application for class XI students of SMA Negeri 14 Makassar. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each of which contains planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research data consisted of two types, namely qualitative data which is a description of the results of implementation and observation during learning and quantitative data in the form of test results of students' vocabulary improvement through Busuu application. The average value of vocabulary improvement of XI IPS 3 students in cycle 1 was 65.60% (Fair) and increased in cycle II to 78.25% (Good). Abstract

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, process and results of applying the NURS learning model in the German language writing skills of class XI IPS 2 SMA Kartika XX-I Makassar. The data in this study consists of two types, namely: quantitative data and qualitative data. Qualitative data was obtained through observation and quantitative data obtained through the results of the writing skills test cycle I and cycle II. The results of the data analysis showed that the value of writing skills obtained by students in the first cycle was 77.94% while in the second cycle it was 85.27%. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about improving German reading skills of class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa through the RSVP learning method. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 1, totaling 35 students. The results of the students' reading test obtained an average score of 34.9 in cycle I and experienced an increase in cycle II with an average value of 42.4. This shows that the use of the RSVP learning method can improve the German reading ability of class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa.Keyword: Improvement, RSVP Learning Method, Reading

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a type of Quasy Experimental Design which aims to determine the effectiveness of Two Stay Two Stray learning model in mastering Arabic vocabulary of 8th grade students of MTs Muhammmadiyah Tanetea Jeneponto. There are two variables in this study, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variable in this study is the use of Two Stay Two Stray learning model, while the dependent variable is the mastery of Arabic vocabulary. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Tanetea Jeneponto, which amounted to 40 students. The sample in the study was all VIII grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah Tanetea Jeneponto as many as 40 students consisting of class VIII.B as an experimental class with a total of 20 students and class VIII.A as a control class with a total of 20 students selected using total sampling technique. Data on the results of this study were obtained by giving a written pre-test and post-test on the material "Sports". The results of the t-test calculation at a significant level of 0.05 obtained the value of t  3.616 > ttabel  2.02. So it can be concluded that the use of the Two Stay Two Stray model is effective in mastering Arabic vocabulary of class VIII students of MTS Muhammadiyah Tanetea Jeneponto.Keyword: Effectiveness, Two Stay Two Stray, Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a class action research that consisted of two cycles. The aim of this research is to know the planning, process and learning outcomes of Jigsaw Type Discussion Method of German speaking skills of students XI MIPA I SMA Negeri 1 Polewali. The data of the research are quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative data were obtained through speaking skills tests in Cycle I and Cycle II and the qualitative data were obtained through observation and analyzed through the percentage technique. The results showed that speaking skills were 64.19% in the first cycle and 77.96% in the second cycle. This means that the Jigsaw Type group discussion method for German speaking skills can increase students' XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Polewali.Keyword: Jigsaw Type, speaking skills, German

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in writing skills of German language texts for class XI students of SMAN 3 Makassar through the application of the Team Assisted Individualization model. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject of this research is class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 3 Makassar. There are two types of research data, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained from teacher and student observation data, while quantitative data were obtained from students' writing tests. The results of students' text writing tests in cycle 1 obtained an average of 3 and experienced an increase in cycle II with an average value of 5. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Team Assisted Individualization model can improve the German writing skills of class XI students of SMAN 3 Makassar.Keyword: Implementation, Writing, Team Assisted Individualization model

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Mentimer in learning German speaking. This study use quasiexperimental approach which involved a control group and an experiment group. Mentimeter media was implemented in the experiment group during 5 meetings. Students’ performance was measured before and after the implementation of learning process. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics aimed to describe and categorize the levels of students’ performance, while inferential statistics aimed to discover whether there was a significant influence of mentimeter media in increasing students’ performance. Results show that the sig value of the experiment class is 0.00. It proves that Mentimeter media is effective in increasing students’ performance as the sig. value is lower than 0.05.  Keywords: Mentimeter, Web Based Learning Media Speaking, German, Learning Media

Abstract

Abstract. The Effectiveness of Puzzle Picture Media in German Speaking Skills (Sprechfertigkeit) ofstudents at German Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University. This research was conducted to obtain data and information regarding students' German speaking skills using Puzzle Picture Media. This research is a Quasi-Experimental research where data is collected through speaking skills tests. Data were analyzed using t-test. The population of this study were students from the German Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University, consists of two classes with  57 students. The sample used was a random sampling consists of 57 students, namely 29 class A students as the experimental class and 28 class B students as the control class. The results of data analysis obtained t count 8.83 > t table 2.004 at alpha level of 0.05. Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this study is to explain the practicality of the integrated-critical model for Philosophy of Science teaching materials. The model is analyzed using an integrative-critical approach. This is a developmental research study that employs both qualitative and quantitative data. The model applied is the Four-D model by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study show that the Philosophy of Science teaching materials are considered practical in terms of relevance, quality, benefits, economic efficiency, presentation strategy, coherence, logical flow of ideas, consistency, and systematic presentation. Moreover, the materials demonstrate a logical structure, balanced content, clear organization of chapters, and a variety of exercises. The practicality is also reflected in the performance outcomes of the sample, which achieved grades of A or A-, categorized as good and very good. It is hoped that future relevant studies will consider aspects such as relevance, presentation, evaluation, presentation of philosophy books, and practicality, with performance results correlating to grades of A or A-.
