The purpose of this study was to determine whether is pictionary game can impove the studentâ€™s vocabulary mastery. This study use quantitative research. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Pinrang. The total population is 38 students consisting of 2 classes. Class VII1 and VII2 was taken as a sample using random sampling techniques, the total number of samples was 19. The instruments used in this study were vocabulary tests. The results of this study indicate that the pre-test got an average score (41.57) while the post-test got an average score (75.26). This shows that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. The p-value (0,000) is lower than the significant level (alpha (Î±) = 0.05). This means H1 is accepted. This study concluded that vocabulary teaching using the four-card game improved students' ability to master vocabulary mastery in seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Pinrang.

The objective of this research were to find out: 1) To find out whether or not the Effectiveness of Intensive daily conversation toward Student Speaking Skills at the Second Semester FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidrap. 2) To know whether studentsâ€™ were interested in using Intensive Daily Conversation to improve the speaking skill at the Second Semester FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidrap. This research employed quantitavive method with used clusster sampling. The population of this research is the second semester; exactly the second semester of FKIP Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. The total number of population is 114 students. The samples in this research is from 2A1 consist 37 students. So the total sample of the research is 24 students. The data of the research were collected by using two kinds of instrument, namely speaking test and questionnaire. Speaking test was used to obtain data of the studentsâ€™ speaking ability and questionnaire was used know the students interest in speaking English through Intensive Daily Conversation. The result of data analysis showed that three was significant difference between the studentsâ€™ score after they were taught by Intensive Daily Conversation and before they were taught by using Intensive Daily Conversation. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test which was higher than the mean score of pre-test (69.5>32.29). Furthermore, the result of the t-test value (0.0005) was greater than t-table (Î± = 0.05; df = 11; t-table 1.701) which means that H1 was accepted. Then, the analysis of interest by using Likert Scale indicated that the students were interested to speak English by using Intensive Daily Conversation. Based on data analysis, the research concluded that: (1) the used of Intensive Daily Conversation. Improved studentsâ€™ speaking ability; (2) the used of Intensive Daily Conversation made the studentsâ€™ interested in speaking English.

This research aims improving students vocabulary mastery by the used of mnemonic technique at seventh grade smp negeri 3 dua pitue kalosi, In this research we use quantitative research methods, quantitative research methods are a process of finding knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what the researcher want to know.The population of this research is the seventh grade students of SMP 3 Dua pitue kalosi, The instruments used in this study were pre test and post test. Instrument The research calculate the mean score, find out standard deviation of the test, compute the frequency and the rate percentage of the studentsâ€™ score and testing the hypothesis of the significant difference between some independent variable by calculating the value of independent t-test use SPSS. the mean score of the students in post-test (65.36) was greater than pre-test (37.93), it means that the students who was teach by using mnemonic technique in teaching vocabulary was improve.

The objective of this research were to find out: To find out whether or not the Effectiveness of reciprocal teaching prosedure toward Student reading Skills at the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Dua Pitue Kalosi This research employed mixed method reciprocal teaching which is designed to focus studentsâ€™ attention on four reading comprehension strategies: clarifying what was read, asking questions, predicting what might follow and summarizing the information with used clusster sampling. The population of this research is the eight grade; exactly the eight grade student of SMP Negeri 3 Dua Pitue Kalosi. The total number of population is class VIII.A=28 and class VIII.B=27 students. The samples in this research is from VIII.B consist 27 students.The data of the research were collected by using teks reading multiple choice. reading test was used to obtain data of the studentsâ€™ reading comprehension. The result of data analysis showed that two was significant difference between the studentsâ€™ score after they were taught by using reciprocal teaching and before they were taught by using reciprocal teaching. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test which was higher than the mean score of pre-test (67,51>24,40). Furthermore, the result of the t-test lower that Î± (0,00<0,05). Based on data analysis, the research concluded that: the used of Reciprocal Teaching improved studentsâ€™ reading comprehension;

The objective of the research was at measuring correlation between studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary and speaking skill of the eleventh grade at SMAN 6 Sidrap. Variables of the research were the studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary as independent variable (x) and speaking skill as dependent variable (y). In this study, the researcher used correlation design, where the researcher used this design to correlate two variables. The population of this research was all of the eleventh grade (XI2) students of IPA class at SMAN 6 Sidrap and the number of the subject was thirty two students. In collecting the data, the researcher used some test was vocabulary test and interview. In this research, the researcher used cluster sampling technique to chosen classes. The researcher analyzed the data using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Linear Regression with SPSS 21 program to test the hypothesis. The result of calculation using SPSS 21 program found that the rvalue 0.532 was also higher than rtable at 5% and 1% significant level or 0.349 < 0.532 > 0.449. It could be concluded that alternative hypothesis (H1) stating that there is a significant positive correlation between studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary and speaking skill of the eleventh grade at SMAN 6 Sidrap is accepted and null hypothesis (H0) stating there is no a significant positive correlation between studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary and speaking skill of eleventh grade at SMAN 6 Sidrap is rejected. The result of calculation of contribution between studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary (variable X) gave about 75.33% contribution to the speaking skill (variable Y) of the sample class and 25.66% was influenced by other aspects. Based on the research findings, in is shown that there is a very significant positive correlation between studentâ€™s mastery vocabulary and speaking skill of the eleventh grade at SMAN 6 Sidrap. It meant that the student who had lack of vocabulary.

The purposed of this study was to determine whether the use of CIRC method can improved the achievement of Eight grade students SMP N 2 Baranti students in reading comprehension and whether students are interested of this method. This study used a mixed research method that is a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. The population of this study was eight grade students of SMP N 2 Baranti in the 2019-2020 academic year. The total population is 101 students consisting of 4 classes. Class VIIa was taken as a sample using cluster sampling techniques, the total number of samples was 24. The instruments used in this study were reading tests and interest questionnaire The results of this study indicated that the pre-test got an average score (57.91) while the post-test got an average score (75.91). This shows that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. The p-value (0,000) is lower than the significant level (alpha (Î±) = 0.05). This means H1 is accepted. This study concluded that teaching reading comprehension using the CIRC method improved students' achievement to master in reading comprehension in eight grade students of SMP N 2 Baranti. And based on the results of an interest questionnaire list, 22 students (92%) liked and were enough interest in using CIRC method in reading comprehension.

The objective of the research was to find out whether or not semantic mapping can improve the ability of the students of SMP Negeri 2 Kulo in vocabulary. This research employed the method of the research was pre experimental method design. The population was the second year students of SMP Negeri 2 Kuloin 2018-2019 academic years. Total number of population was 20 students and one class was taken as sample (VIII.1) by using clustersampling technique, total munber of sample was 20. The instrument used in this research was to vocabulary test. The result of this research showed that in pre-test the mean score (43.15) is lower than post-test (58.50). It proved that there was significant improvement of studentsâ€™ vocabualry using semantic mapping. The result of the P-value (0.000) was lower than level of significant (alpha (Î±)=0.05). This means that H1 was accepted. The researcher concluded that teaching vocabulary mastery by using SEMANTIC MAPPING improved the studentsâ€™ vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 2 Kulo.

The researcher took pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this research was the eighth grade students in academic year 2018/2019. There were 86 students spread in 3 classes (VIII Expert, VIII Excellent 1, and VIII Excellent 2) and each class consist appropriately 26-31 students. VIII Expert class was taken as the sample and the total of samples is 26 students. The data of the research was collected by using speaking test. The result of data analysis showed that there was significant difference between the studentsâ€™ score after they were taught by the using building story games and before they were taught by the using building story games. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test which was higher than the mean score of pre-test (73.88>63.43). Furthermore, the result of the p-value was lower than Î± (0.000<0.05) which means that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on data analysis, the research concluded that there is the use of building story games toward studentâ€™s speaking ability.

This research was use a quantitative and qualitative study, the research applied mixed method in the form of nonequivalent control group design because of there was possibility for the research to randomize the groups as the sample of This research. The reseacher devided the research object into two groups, experimental group who was given treatment, and the control group without treatment. This division was intended to test the hypotesis to know the condition after treatment. The pre-test will administratered students prior knowledge and the post-test will given to find out provement of the students reading comprehension using Aldiko book through paraphrase method. After giving the treatment, the researcher stated that the students in experimental group which were given treatment by using Aldiko Book as a media and paraphrase as method was effective in teaching reading than the students in control group by PDF Reader. The showed by the Mean score and standard Deviation of Studentsâ€™ in Post-test score which is experimental with 20 sample had a mean score 65.25 and 11.64 higher then the control group 58.00 and 8.013. It means that there was a significance different between the experiental and control group

This study aims to: (1) explain the meaning of denotation and connotation of defamation on social media, (2) explain the pragmatic analysis (speech acts) of defamation on social media, and (3) explain the juridical effects of defamation on social media. The data in this study are language that contains criminal acts of defamation on social media Facebook. The data source in this study is the social media Facebook. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques in the form of capturing screens, reading techniques, and taking notes. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that: based on the semantic study of NA speech on social media Facebook, NP contains denotative and connotative meanings. The use of the type of animal chosen by the speaker is a different animal from the animals that are used to insult and humiliate. In this pragmatic study of speech is a type of ommissive illocutionary speech act. There is also a metaphorical meaning in the words "human", "gorilla", and "desert lizard", which is to compare the power between ordinary people, a group of people who have power against the government, and a group of people who are against the government. Perlocutionary in this sentence is the reporting of AN in Polda Papua and Polda Papua Barat so that Bareskrim takes the case. AN will be subject to Article Law Number 19 of 2016 Amendments to the ITE Law and KUHP Article 310 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code regarding written pollution.
