This study aims to explain the forms of speech acts that contain Habib Rishiq Shihab's hate speech on YouTube social media. The data in this study are Habib Rishiq Shihab's story uploaded on YouTube social media which contains hate speech. The source of the data in this study is a document in the form of a video uploaded on YouTube social media related to Habib Rishiq Shihab's speech which contains hate speech.The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, data collection techniques look-see and note. Data were analyzed usingThe data analysis technique used is qualitative content analysis.The results of this study indicate that:Habib Rishiq Shihab's speech on YouTube contains declarative and interrogative speech acts. The form of illocutionary speech acts uses declarative and directive locutions. The form of perlocutionary speech acts is in the form of a deliberate effect by influencing the interlocutor. Such speech is considered as a form of provocative/incitement that can cause feelings of hatred or hostility towards certain individuals and/or community groups based on ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group (SARA) so that they can be categorized as having committed an unlawful act as regulated in the formulation of article 45A paragraph (2) UU ITE and Article 160 of the Criminal Code.

This study aims to describe the ability to determine the theme of Bugis folklore. Based on the table data, it can be concluded that the highest score obtained by students on the ability to understand the theme of intrinsic elements in the story text La Maddukkelleng is 4 and gets a score of 100 while the lowest score obtained by students is 2 so that they get a value of 50. The research design used in this research is a descriptive quantitative research design. The population of this research is the entire class VIII SMP, totaling 81 students and divided into four classes. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the Ability to Understand Intrinsic Elements in Bugis folklore texts with seven assessment indicators found the level of ability in the theme aspect was categorized as capable as much as 75% who got a score of 75-100.

This study aims to investigate students' perceptions toward English teacher teaching strategies, personal competence, and school facilities at Mts Nurur Rahmah Pamekasan. This study use qualitative research. The sample of this study involved 25 students in class 7-9 junior high school at Mts Nurur Rahmah Pamekasan. In this study, the writer use some kinds of instruments; the researcher, observation and interview, note-taking, video camera, and document. The data would be taken from the observation. In addition, the writer also used online questionnaire (close-ended and open-ended question) to gain information about students’ perceptions on the teacher’s teaching strategies. The result shows that the teaching strategies are suggested to be used by teachers in their teaching process to attract students' interest in learning the target language and to achieve curriculum goal has not been fully implemented. The teacher did not apply the required strategies in English language teaching and did not have a set of complete personality. In addition, regarding school facilities, the schools do not have adequate facilities.

The objective of the research were to find out : (1) whether or not the ability the use of Communicative Drilling increased pronunciation ability of the second year students at SMK 4 Sidrap and (2) whether or not the second year students of SMK 4 Sidrap are interested in pronunciation through Communicative Drilling. This research applied Pre-experimental method that apllied one group pretest and posttest. The subject of the research was the second year students of SMK 4 Sidrap academic year 2021.total number of population was 92 students spread in three classes and one class of them XI.3 were taken as sample by using cluster sampling technique. The data of the research were collected by using twi kinds of instruments, namely pronunciation test and questionnaire. Pronunciation test was used to obtain data of the students’ pronunciation ability and questionnaire was used to know the students interest in pronunciation by using communicative drilling. The result of data analysis showed that the mean score of post test (70) was higher than the mean score of post test ( 28). This showed that was significant difference between the students before and after taught by using communicative drilling. Then, the analysis of interest by using Linkert Scale indicated that the students were interested to pronounce English through communicative drilling. It was proved by mean score of students’ interest was (79.9) in categories in interest.The result of the t-test value (7.29) was greater than t-table (α = 0,05: 16 = 2.120). This mean that H1 was accepted. Based on data analysis, the researcher concluded that teaching pronunciation by using Communicative Drilling increased the students’ ability to pronounce English. Moreover, the use of Communicative drilling makes the students’ interested in pronouncing English.

The purpose of this study was determined whether the use of random word games could improved the ability of SMP N 2 Pancarijang students in vocabulary and whether students are interested in the method of this game. This study uses a mixed research method that was a quantitative research. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP N 2 Pancarijang in the 2018-2019 academic year. The total population was 87 students consisting of 4 classes. Class VII3 was taken as a sample using cluster sampling techniques, the total number of samples was 24. The instruments used in this study were vocabulary tests. The results of this study indicate that the pre-test got an average score (29.28) while the post-test got an average score (58.85). This shows that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. The p-value (0,000) is lower than the significant level (alpha (α) = 0.05). This means H1 was accepted. This study concluded that vocabulary teaching using the random word game improved students' ability to master vocabulary mastery in seventh grade students of SMP N 2 Pancarijang.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Zoom application in learning Discourse Analysis during the Covid-19 pandemic in the sixth semester of the English Education Department at Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang. The data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. This research includes qualitative research with descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research are 30 students. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling, where's the sampling technique is to take 15 students. The results showed that the effectiveness on the use of zoom application in learning discourse analysis during the covid-19 pandemic carried out by students was less effective. Because of the many obstacles experienced during the learning process, such as being constrained by the lack of a network that makes it difficult for students to understand the material presented by the lecturer. As conclusion, zoom application is less able to help in learning, especially online discourse analysis learning.

This research analyzes the accounting students’ need in learning English at SMK N 2 Sidrap due to the accounting students learn English using English textbook which has same content with other majors. In fact, the school has four distinctive majors. The subject of this research is the eleventh grade of accounting students in XI AKL 1. This research used descriptive qualitative research with observation checklist, teacher interview and questionnaire as the tools in collecting data. To analyze the data, the researcher involved five activities; observing English teaching and learning process, teacher interview, giving questionnaire to the accounting students, analyzing and describing the obtained data, and calculating percentage of students’ answer in questionnaire. The result of this research shows that the eleventh grade of accounting students in XI AKL 1 needs more specific English material and English skill in accounting field. In addition, based on classroom observation, in teaching process the teacher requires to find appropriate way that can make the students more interesting and active. Therefore, to maximize their competence in accounting activities, the accounting students hope that the school can design ESP program.

This study at Darul Aman Gombara Makassar's border school, Buq'atun Mubarakah High School, aims to evaluate the effect of students' Arabic and English language competency on learning achievement, notably in the areas of the Qur'an and Hadith. The description provided by Imam Ghozali of the procedure for computing analysis data utilizing a multivariate analysis application with the IBM SPSS 25 program, edition 9 (2019). The results showed a link between knowledge of Arabic and English and academic success (as judged by the Qur'an and Hadith), with a significant value of 0.005. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating that the hypothesis is true if the value is less than 0.05. The Arabic and English Language Ability and Learning Achievement (Qur'an and Hadith) variables are strongly associated with one another or match the necessary criteria, according to the correlation value of 0.512. The Interplay Bilingual Approach toward Students Speaking Skills at The Fourth Semester FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidrap. The objective of this research were to find out: 1) find out whether or not that bilingual approach can interplay speaking skill in EFL learners. 2) Find out the student's interest in learning speaking skills by using a bilingual approach fourth Semester FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidrap. This research employed quantitavive and qualitative method with used clusster sampling. The population of this research is the fourth semester; exactly the fourth semester of FKIP Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. The total number of population is 75 students. The samples in this research is from fourth semester consist 20 students. So the total sample of the research is 20 students. The data of the research were collected by using two kinds of instrument, namely speaking test and questionnaire. Speaking test was used to obtain data of the students’ speaking skill and questionnaire was used know the students interest in speaking English bilingual approach. The result of data analysis showed that three was significant difference between the students’ score after they were taught by Bilingual Approach and before they were taught by using Bilingual Approach. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test which was higher than the mean score of pre-test (68.95>32.29). Furthermore, the result of the t-test value (0.0005) was greater than t-table (α = 0.05; df = 11; t-table 1.701) which means that H1 was accepted. Then, the analysis of interest by using Likert Scale indicated that the students were interested to speak English by using Bilingual Approach. Based on data analysis, the research concluded that: (1) the used of Bilingual Approach. improved students’ speaking ability; (2) the used of Bilingual Approach made the students’ interested in speaking English.

The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) whether or not the use of movie is effective in improving the vocabulary achievement of the Seventh grade students of MTs.N 1 Sidenreng Rappang. And (2) whether or not the Seventh grade students of MTs.N 1 Sidenreng Rappang are interested in improving the vocabulary achievement though movie This research applied pre-experimental method. The subjects of the research were the seventh grade students. There were 30 students. The sampling technique in this research was simple random sampling. The data of this reseach were collected by using two kinds of instruments, namely vocabulary test and questionnare. The result of data analsis showed that there was significant difference between the students’ score in pretest and posttest. It was proven by the mean score of posttest which was higher than pretest (66,8> 37,5). The researcher analyzed the students’ vocabulary achievement through SPSS Version 17.0. Then, the researcher analyzed the students’ interest through SPSS and Likerd Scale. The analysis indicated that the students were strongly interested to improve the vocabulary achievement through movie. It was proved by interest mean (84.76 %) where 53% students were strongly interested and 47% students were interested. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that : (1) the use of movie improves students’ vocabulary achievement; (2) the use of movie makes the students interested in improving vocabulary.
