Abstract

Philosophy is the basis of human thinking in the world of education and provides a basis for thinking in the investigation and exploration of science. Philosophy and science are always developing to overcome existing problems. This research aims to determine the role of philosophy of science in supporting human life in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. Both act as a link between change and progress in the world of science and technology. Quantitative research methods through literature study. The development of science and technology is clear evidence of the problems faced by society today, or what is better known as the turmoil that accompanies major changes in various areas of social life. The role of philosophy and the development of science in human life is very influential, in completing work and industry has been replaced by science and technology such as artificial intelligence, robots and computers. This can be said to be the effect of the erosion of humanity that always affects human life, and the sophistication of technology.

Abstract

Based on the problems at SDN 30 Palembang city, developed an inclusive learning module in building the creativity of CIBI students at SDN 30 Palembang city. The formulation is how to develop an inclusive learning module in building the creativity of CIBI students at SDN 30 Palembang city which is valid, practical and effective? The type of research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques, questionnaires or questionnaires, interviews and tests. The results of the study concluded, based on the observation results, the average acquisition of the learning module validation results from the validators were 3.85, 4.25 4.1, and 4.7, respectively. The overall average acquisition of validators is 4.22 with a very valid or feasible category. Judging from the aspect of practicality, the learning module developed by Inclusion in building the creativity of CIBI students on the material of building volume is categorised as practical. This is seen from the acquisition of the average final score of the results of the learner response questionnaire with an average score of 2.975. Judging from the effectiveness aspect, the learning module developed by Inclusion in building the creativity of CIBI students on the volume of space building material is categorised as very effective, judging from the acquisition of the average final score of the student learning outcomes test of 98.75 and the percentage of completeness of the student learning outcomes test of 100%, so that the learning module developed is effective.

Abstract

This community service program was designed to improve the teaching skills of prospective educators and teachers of SDN 20 Kurao Pagang in Padang City through the use of interactive learning media based on Macromedia Flash. This activity, which took the form of training and workshops, was attended by 10 teachers from the primary school. There were three phases in this program: the first phase involved socialization which included observation and interview with the principal, the second phase was training and mentoring, and the third phase was evaluation. The results of this program showed that out of 10 teachers, 8 teachers (83.33%) successfully created interactive learning media using Macromedia Flash, while the other 4 teachers (10%) experienced difficulties, which may be due to their first experience using Macromedia Flash software in the creation of learning media.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe in more depth the process of implementing responsibility and discipline character education as well as the supporting factors for achieving the cultivation of character values through extracurricular scout education at state elementary school 212/IV, Jambi City. This research was conducted at state elementary school 212/IV, Jambi City in November 2023. This research used qualitative research methods with a phenomenological type of research. Research data was obtained by interviewing supervisors, school principals, students and their parents. After obtaining the interview results, the data was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that the implementation of extracurricular activities in the context of instilling character values is effective in various attitudes or characteristics of students, especially in the character of responsibility and discipline. This was achieved due to the seriousness of the coaches in instilling character education in students where the coaches themselves were very competent and certified. Thus, the cultivation of character values is also supported by the school principal providing adequate and sufficient facilities and infrastructure to be used during each training session. From the results of this research, instilling character values through scout extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 212/IV Jambi City has been achieved well with the supporting factors of adequate facilities and infrastructure, support from the school principal or kamabigus, certified and competent scout leaders and support from the participants' parents. educate.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in class IV SDN 20 Sitiung which is still monotonous, less contextual, and limited to the use of printed modules from the government. Based on interviews with class teachers and the results of curriculum analysis, it was found that IPAS learning has not linked the material to students' real lives and has not utilized the available digital facilities optimally. The purpose of this study is to develop an E-Module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) that can improve student engagement and learning outcomes. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, then analyzed with validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The development results showed that the E-Module designed using the Flipbook Maker application was very valid with a content expert score of 94.3% and a language expert score of 83.4%. The practicality test showed a score of 97.3% by teachers and 100% by students. From the effectiveness test, 89% of students achieved learning completion. This E-Module is also able to increase students' interest in learning and encourage contextual problem-solving activities. Thus, the development of PBL-based E-Module is effective in improving the quality of science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Wiguna Rosianti, 2025. Development of Smart Board Learning Media for Early Reading Skills of Second Grade Students. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Dharmas Indonesia. This study aims to develop a smart board learning media that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the early reading skills of second grade students at SDN 13 Koto Baru. The background of this research stems from the low early reading ability of students, which is caused by the use of monotonous lecture methods and the lack of engaging learning media. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The product developed is a smart board made from plywood measuring 40 x 25 cm, featuring images and letters that can be arranged by students. The validity of the media was assessed by content, language, and media experts; its practicality was evaluated based on responses from teachers and students; and its effectiveness was measured through students' learning outcomes. The results show that the developed smart board media is highly valid, practical to use in the learning process, and effective in improving students’ early reading skills. This research concludes that smart board media can serve as an alternative solution in teaching Indonesian language at the elementary level, particularly in the domain of early reading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara konseptual pengalaman subjektif siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah mengenai suasana rumah, ketersediaan fasilitas belajar, dan proses kreatif yang mereka jalani dalam kaitannya dengan prestasi akademik. Studi literatur kualitatif ini menelusuri berbagai sumber ilmiah yang membahas pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, fasilitas belajar, dan kreativitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan mengacu pada pemikiran para ahli psikologi pendidikan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa suasana rumah yang hangat dengan dukungan orang tua yang konsisten menciptakan rasa aman emosional yang memungkinkan anak-anak untuk mengembangkan motivasi intrinsik. Ketersediaan fasilitas belajar harus diartikan sebagai bentuk perhatian dan kasih sayang keluarga, bukan hanya keberadaan fisik semata. Anak-anak yang menginterpretasikan fasilitas belajar sebagai bukti dukungan termotivasi untuk memanfaatkannya secara optimal. Proses kreatif dalam belajar memberikan pengalaman bahwa pengetahuan dapat dieksplorasi dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Anak-anak yang mengalami kegembiraan dalam belajar mengembangkan kecintaan terhadap pengetahuan yang menjadi dasar untuk prestasi jangka panjang. Ketiga dimensi ini saling terkait membentuk pengalaman holistik yang menentukan bagaimana anak-anak memandang diri mereka sebagai pembelajar. Studi ini menyiratkan perlunya memperluas pandangan tentang prestasi akademik dari sekadar nilai rapor menjadi pemahaman tentang proses subjektif yang dialami oleh anak-anak. Diperlukan penelitian empiris lebih lanjut untuk menangkap secara langsung bagaimana siswa mengalami dan menafsirkan perjalanan belajar mereka.
