The results of the research conducted by the author show that in implementing the Policy for Implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System at PT. Abstract

The goal of this study is to characterize the implementation of the online teaching and learning process (Synchronous and Asynchronous learning), including supportive and barrier elements, students' experiences with online learning, and future expectations for participation. During the COVID-19 epidemic, students are after completing the process of introducing online teaching and learning. The investigation was conducted out at SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi, which is located in Tebing Tinggi. This study uses qualitative methodologies in its investigation. Teachers from SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi were employed as participants in this study. Semi-regular inquiries and replies, as well as taking images and assessing field outcomes, were utilized to report data. The COVID-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on education, particularly the teaching and learning process; the implementation, which was formerly done face-to-face, has now been switched to an online teaching and learning process (Synchronous learning and Asynchronous learning). The availability of modern devices such as computers and cell-phones  are as well as data bundles and reliable internet connections. There are also certain barriers for instructors in implementing the online teaching and learning process, such as numerous complaints about acquiring internet quotas, and students who are more inclined or hooked to using smartphones for entertainment than for doing homework. It is believed that through studying in this manner, children would be able to practice responsibility and extend their understanding of how to use existing technologies in the future.

Abstract

This writing discusses the importance of recording death certificates in society, focusing on the judge's considerations regarding the application for the creation of death certificates at the Tanjung Karang District Court in 2023. The human life cycle involves various significant events, including death, which requires documentation for legal certainty and administration. Despite existing regulations, there is still a lack of public interest in handling death certificates. Factors influencing people's reasons for obtaining death certificates involve legal obligations, inheritance administration, insurance claims, legal security, retirement, identity control, civil registry updates, religious rituals, asset management, and social assistance. This research employs a normative legal research method, referencing Law Number 16 of 2019 and Law Number 1 of 1974. The results indicate that the judge's considerations in approving or rejecting applications for death certificate issuance include sufficient evidence, public interest, procedural accuracy, data consistency, suspicion of information, disagreements among parties, the legal validity of applicants, the interests of children or heirs, and the risk of misuse. Understanding these factors is crucial in comprehending and raising public awareness about the importance of death certificate recording.

Abstract

The era of globalization is a period where economics, technology, culture and politics throughout the world are increasingly connected and influence each other. The development of the times and the spread of social phenomena that occur on this earth never end in line with the social developments and dynamics that occur in society. This social phenomenon is called a criminal act. There are many criminal acts of fraud occurring in various forms and their development is increasingly high and complex, one of which is business fraud by deception. The crime of fraud itself is regulated in Article 378 of the Criminal Code. The problem in this research is what are the factors that cause committing criminal acts of business fraud by deception and what is the responsibility of perpetrators of criminal acts of business fraud based on Decision Number 130/Pid.B/2023/PN Kbu. The research method used in this research is a normative juridical approach and an empirical approach. This normative approach is carried out by viewing legal issues as rules that are considered appropriate to normative juridical research. Normative juridical research is carried out by means of literature studies on theoretical matters, namely an approach carried out by examining legal sources, legal principles and opinions of scholars as well as applicable laws and regulations. The Empirical Approach is an approach carried out through direct research on the research object by means of observation and interviews related to the research problem. The results of this research show that the factors causing the perpetrator to commit the crime of business fraud by deception are based on three factors, namely economic factors, opportunity factors and individual factors who often tell lies, both of which are the main causes of the defendant committing this act. The presence of false speech makes it seem as if the defendant is telling the truth, which creates trust or confidence in other people and interest, thereby causing the victim to be moved to hand over their property. Then the responsibility of the perpetrator of the criminal act of business fraud by deception is based on lying words that make other people hand over their property or objects resulting in the criminal act of fraud. In this case, the defendant has also been arrested by members of the North Lampung Police. The prosecutor as public prosecutor imposed charges on the defendant in the form of imprisonment for 3 (three) years and 10 (ten) months, which the judge then sentenced to prison for 3 years and 6 months as stated in Decision Number 130/Pid.B/2023/PN Mrs. The author's advice is aimed at ordinary people who want to carry out business activities so that they can be more thorough and understand first the partners they are going to do business with, starting from their origins, environment and experience in that field. Don't be immediately tempted by results that you won't necessarily get because it could be detrimental to yourself. The government/officials and all elements of society can strengthen supervision over business, as well as increase law enforcement against fraudulent business practices. This includes cooperation between law enforcement agencies, and other relevant agencies. Encourage the participation of all elements of society in reporting in order to prevent criminal acts of business fraud. By taking these steps, the government can play an important role in protecting prospective business actors.

Abstract

The global spread of industries towards the era of Industry 4.0, encompassing the integration of cyber technology and automation. Safety Management Systems (SMS) are employed at each airport differently due to their distinct characteristics. Airport security and order disruption are security issues. Cases such as apron breaches, trespassing, and negligence occur. Aviation accidents pose security issues stemming from SMS implementation, operational oversight, aircraft certification, and flight health factors. There are 8 accident categories and 22 serious incidents resulting in 5 fatalities. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. To attain answers, the researcher designed a qualitative research design. Qualitative research aims to investigate, discover, describe, and explain the quality of social influences. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Validity is ensured using source triangulation. The research findings reveal that personnel safety culture at Yogyakarta International Airport aligns with SOP. Out of 165 criteria, the achievement rate is 92.7%, indicating a positive relationship between safety culture and safety management system (KP 622/2015). The effectiveness of safety management system implementation at the airport is 72%. Strategies like Avoidance, Reduction, and Segregation are used to mitigate risks.
