Abstract

This study investigates how consumers’ perceptions of price and product quality influence their intention to adopt Starlink, a satellite-based internet service, and how this intention mediates loyalty decline toward The existing provider IndiHome in Jayapura, Indonesia. Using a structured survey of 100 Internet users and path analysis via linear regression, the findings reveal that price perception has a positive and significant effect on usage intention, whereas product quality perception, unexpectedly, has a significant negative effect. Furthermore, the intention to adopt Starlink significantly eroded loyalty to IndiHome. Theoretically, this study extends our understanding of consumer migration in the context of disruptive innovation in underserved markets. We positthat intention is a behavioral signal of dissatisfaction in monopolized infrastructure sectors. Practically, this study offers a warning for incumbent telcos to reassess service quality, customer experience, and pricing strategies

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Lean Management principles and their impact on productivity and efficiency in electrical construction projects, focusing on a case study at Bozer Construction Unipessoal LDA in Timor Leste. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using a single embedded case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key project staff, direct field observations, and analysis of internal project documentation. The study found that Lean tools—specifically Just-In-Time (JIT), Kaizen, and Total Quality Management (TQM)—significantly contributed to minimizing waste, improving scheduling accuracy, and enhancing workforce coordination. However, challenges were encountered, including limited knowledge of Lean concepts, cultural resistance to bottom-up improvement processes, and logistical barriers in maintaining timely material delivery.Despite constraints, the adoption of Lean strategies yielded measurable performance improvements: reduced project delays, enhanced material efficiency, and improved quality control. This case illustrates that Lean Management can be adapted effectively even in resource-constrained, post-conflict settings like Timor Leste. This study contributes to the limited empirical literature on Lean Construction in Southeast Asia, offering practical insights for similar developing country contexts. It demonstrates that local adaptation and incremental implementation of Lean principles can lead to substantial gains in project delivery performance

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between financial performance, environmental performance, and corporate governance on sustainability disclosures (sustainability reports). Financial performance is measured using liquidity, solvency, and profitability, whereas environmental performance is measured using environmental costs and the PROPER rating achieved by the company. The corporate governance variable in this study was measured through independent commissioners, audit committees, and institutional ownership. The dependent variable is sustainability disclosure (sustainability reports). This study uses a population and sample of non-cyclical sector companies that published financial statements and sustainability reports from 2021 to 2023. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling, resulting in 135 companies meeting the research criteria. Data analysis employed classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using the least-squares method. The findings indicate that financial performance, environmental cost-related performance, and institutional ownership significantly influence sustainability reporting. In contrast, PROPER-based environmental performance, independent commissioners, and audit committees did not have a significant effect. The moderating variable, community/media pressure, did not moderate the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. These findings serve as a reference for encouraging better corporate governance practices to support environmental sustainability, thus fostering harmony in environmental preservation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how the 7P marketing mix strategy (product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence) impacts consumer decisions to purchase peanuts at CV UD Sanjaya in Natar, South Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach that combines descriptive and verificative techniques, along with purposive sampling for a sample of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after questionnaires were collected from November to December 2024. With an R Square value of 0.855, this study's findings demonstrate that all seven Ps of the marketing mix significantly impact consumers' decisions to buy, indicating that the independent variables are responsible for 85.5% of the variation in purchasing decisions. Partially, all dimensions of the marketing mix show a significant influence with a significance value of < 0.05, where Physical Evidence has the strongest influence (β = 0.540). This study provides practical implications for the development of SME marketing strategies and suggests the importance of an integrated marketing approach that considers all the elements of the marketing mix to enhance consumer purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study investigates the trends of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in India, focusing on both inflows and outflows as a percentage of GDP from 2000 to 2022. Foreign direct investment (FDI) has become a key driver of economic growth, shaping India’s integration into the global economy. This study employs econometric techniques such as autoregressive (AR) models, Moving Average (MA) models, the Johansen Co-integration Test, and the Granger Causality Test to analyze historical FDI data. These methods help evaluate the dynamic relationships and long-term equilibrium between FDI inflows and outflows. The analysis reveals that historical FDI patterns significantly predict future trends. Specifically, past values and forecast errors influence the direction of FDI, particularly outflow. The Johansen cointegration test confirms a long-term equilibrium relationship between inflows and outflows, while the Granger Causality Test identifies a predictive relationship between net outflows and inflows. The findings suggest that inward and outward FDI are interlinked and play vital roles in India's economic development. Understanding these dynamics can help policymakers craft strategies to enhance India's global investment, while sustaining domestic economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to identify and formulate a risk mitigation model for human resource management (HR) in Indonesian universities with a focus on academic sustainability. Using a qualitative approach and Grounded Theory, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants from various higher education institutions. The analysis process was conducted through the stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding to build a theoretical model based on the data. The results of this study indicate that universities in Indonesia face various structural and systemic HR risks, such as dependence on senior lecturers, weak regeneration and retention policies, and workload imbalances. Based on the findings, a risk-mitigation model was developed based on a proactive approach that includes succession planning, continuous training systems, work flexibility, and integration of risk management into institutional governance. This model has practical implications for the formulation of adaptive and long-term HR policies. This study contributes to the development of HR risk management theory in the higher education sector and provides a policy reference for educational institutions to improve academic resilience and sustainability. Further research is recommended to test this model in various types of institutions and in the context of digital transformation in higher education.

Abstract

Quality health services are an important element in supporting public health status. This study aimed to analyze the level of community satisfaction with health services at Puskesmas Temayang and Bojonegoro Regency. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with 218 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a standardized questionnaire based on Permenpan-RB Number 14 of 2017, with nine elements of the Community Satisfaction Survey indicator. The results showed that the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) was in the good category. The dimensions of cost/tariff and complaint handling are at the highest value, while the facilities and infrastructure aspects have the lowest scores of other aspects. This shows that there is a need for improvement in physical facilities, both buildings, completeness of service support tools, and strengthening of the competence of health workers. This study is expected to be a strategic input for policymakers to improve the quality of health services, especially at the Puskesmas level.
