Abstract

Curriculum and learning management are crucial aspects of the education system that influence the quality of education. This research aims to explore effective curriculum management strategies in the context of learning in the digital era. The methods used include literature review and qualitative analysis from various relevant sources. The findings indicate that the integration of technology in the curriculum, teacher training, and active student participation are key factors in enhancing the effectiveness of learning. This discussion provides recommendations for policymakers in designing a curriculum that is responsive to the changing times.

Abstract

This research examines the meaning of symbols in traditional dance movements in Kabola District, Alor Regency using a cultural anthropology perspective. The purpose of the research is to reveal and analyse the deep meaning of various symbols contained in the traditional dance movements of the Kabola community. The research method used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach, involving field observations and interviews. The results showed that Kabola traditional dance movements have symbolic meanings that are closely related to the belief system, social values, and worldview of the local community. Each dance movement represents various aspects of life such as human relationships with nature, respect for ancestors, fertility, and social harmony. The waving upward movement of the hands symbolises communication with the ancestors, while the rhythmic stomping of the feet depicts the strength and robustness of tradition. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of Indonesia's rich culture, particularly in the context of the Kabola community, as well as highlighting the importance of preserving traditional values in the modern era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to present the Exploration of Traditional Wicker Motifs of Mama Betel Place as Local Cultural Heritage of Tulleng Village, Lembur District, Alor Regency. The research technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative, interviews with community leaders Mr Imanuel Bailafa and Isak Samau in Tulleng Village, Lembur District, Alor Regency. The results of this study indicate that the people of Tulleng Village have a culture that is still maintained until now, this is indicated by the existence of a woven betel nut mama place as a Local Cultural Heritage of Tulleng Village, Lembur District, Alor Regency, which is usually used in traditional ceremonies, proposing or asking in a marriage. It has its own uniqueness and each of the motifs has a meaning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present the Philosophical Exploration of Adatia Traditional Musical Instruments of the Community of padang panjang village, alor timur sub-district. The research data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. The data used in the research is qualitative data. The data collection technique was carried out in two ways, namely field observation and interviews. This research was conducted in Padang Panjang Village, East Alor District, Alor Regency. The information in this study is a traditional leader. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the use of traditional musical instruments; (2) magna traditional musical instruments; (3) musical instruments can be used in various activities. The results of this study can be concluded that the Padang Panjang Village Community has an interesting traditional musical instrument tradition.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the architecture of Langwah Traditional House in Waisika Village, Alor Timur Laut Sub-district, Alor Regency, which is one of the cultural heritages that must be preserved. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations, documentation and interviews with traditional leaders, Mr Arkadius Manimau. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results obtained from this research show that the Langwah Traditional House is built with natural materials such as eucalyptus, alang-alang, and bamboo, and applies traditional construction techniques that consider adaptation to the environment. The layout of this traditional house consists of several parts with specific functions, such as storage for heirlooms, food ingredients, and traditional meeting rooms.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the symbolic meaning and aesthetics of accessories on traditional clothing of the Maleipea Village community, South Alor Sub-district, Alor Regency. Traditional clothing accessories in this village not only function as a fashion complement, but also contain cultural values that represent the identity, social status, and spirituality of the local community. This research uses a qualitative method. With an ethnographic approach, this research involved data collection techniques, namely participant observation and in-depth interviews to explore a deep understanding of the role of accessories in daily life and traditional ceremonies. The data analysis technique used, namely qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that each element of accessories, from materials to colours, has its own symbolism that reflects the community's harmonious relationship with nature as well as traditional values that have been passed down from generation to generation. In addition, the aesthetics of the accessories are reflected in the use of natural materials such as native rattan (tibu), wire, red cloth, chicken feathers, forest deli fruit, yarn, and fan rope (van belt) arranged with traditional craft techniques. This research makes an important contribution to the preservation of local culture as well as a reference in the development of Nusantara cultural studies.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the use of block media in improving the ability to recognize letters in early childhood at RA Al-Hidayah Dalan Lidang. The method used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each including the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed a significant increase in children's ability to name, differentiate and group letters. In cycle I, the results of observations showed that the majority of children were in the Starting to Developing to Not Yet Developing category. However, in cycle II, there was an increase, where the number of children who reached the Very Well Developing and Developing As Expected categories increased. This confirms that block media is effective in improving letter recognition in early childhood, even though there are several obstacles faced during the learning process.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how to improve the application of a creative attitude in resolving conflicts in organisations (case study of SDN 009 Maredan). The research method used by the author is qualitative research with a library research approach. The data sources are books and scientific journals that discuss improving the application of a creative attitude in resolving conflicts in organisations (case study of SDN 009 Maredan). Based on the conclusion, Islam teaches that conflict is a part of life that can be resolved wisely through the principles taught in sharia, such as deliberation (shura), peace (islah), and reconciliation. Creativity in resolving conflict includes the ability to find innovative, fair, and peaceful solutions without having to harm any of the parties involved. Creative approaches based on Islamic teachings and applied at SDN 009 Maredan, such as involving joint activities, prioritising peace, and understanding differences through open communication, are not only effective in resolving disputes, but also have the potential to strengthen relationships and increase organisational productivity. Conflicts handled in the right way can be an opportunity for organisational innovation and growth. By applying Islamic principles that promote justice, balance, and compassion, conflicts can be resolved with solutions that are not only effective, but also beneficial to the welfare and continuity of the organisation. This creates a harmonious, productive work environment that is in line with religious and social values that support the creation of harmony and good cooperation within the organisation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the extent of the Comparative Study on the Implementation of Educational Management Systems in Public and Private Schools until now. The method of this research is  that this study uses a qualitative approach with a comparative analysis method. Data was collected through interviews published in scientific journals and other mass media, observations related to government regulations, and the collection of documents from several public and private schools in various regions. The results of this study are that this comparative study shows that there are significant differences in the implementation of education management systems between public and private schools. Private schools tend to have greater flexibility in developing curricula, grading systems, and the use of technology, while public schools are bound by government regulations.

Abstract

This paper discusses the influence of leadership style on the performance of subordinates in an organization, which in this case uses the theory of the charismatic leadership that has a leader characterized by motivation, has high self-confidence, has a clear mission and can socialize it to his subordinates, is ready to face risks, and is ready to make dicisions. The charismatich leadership style applied by a leader will affect the performance of subordinates. Performance is a result that is expected by everyone involved in an organization, including leaders. Therefore, leaders must have a leadership style that can build good performance and result in accordance with what is expected and in accordance with organizational goals. In conducting this research, the author uses descriptive qualitative research methods, namely research that uses various eksting sourches, such as books, journals, and other sources as needed in this study. This study aims to fins out hoe the performance of students of the faculity of Christian culture and Leadership, using the theory of charismatich leadership style and trying to find out what the effect of charismatich leadership is on the performance of the management, especially subordinates.
