Abstract

The problem that occurs is the low motivation and literacy understanding of students' subject matter, which is caused by the lack of variation in the learning methods applied. This study aims to explore the experience of grade V students in using Quizizz-based literacy games in the 8th Batch Teaching Campus Program at SDN 48/I Penerokan. This study uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with students, and analysis of quiz results carried out using Quizizz. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively to identify the student experience and the impact of using Quizizz on learning. The results of the study show that the use of Quizizz-based literacy games has a positive impact on the learning experience of grade V students at SDN 48/I Penerokan. This can be seen from the increase in motivation, material understanding, and student involvement in the learning process. In addition, the use of Quizizz also helps students in developing social skills and time management. This shows that interactive learning methods can be an effective solution to improve learning outcomes. While there are some challenges related to technology access and students' understanding of the use of Quizizz, the benefits obtained are much more significant. This research underscores the importance of innovation in education to create more engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

The Tengger tribe is a tribe rich in culture and history. Since the Hindu Kingdom in Indonesia, the name Tengger has been known as the sacred land. The role of local wisdom that is widely unknown to the general public is a reason for researchers to review the identity of the Tengger community in particular. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that adopts an ethnographic approach that aims to describe and interpret existing cultures, social groups, and systems related to the local wisdom of the Tengger community. This study found that the role of local wisdom can be reviewed in several aspects including the value of cultural arts, customs, multicultural values, social, and the role of the Tengger community in maintaining the role of local wisdom.

Abstract

This research aims to see the level of initial reading ability for class I students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau using the Scramble learning model in Lesson B. Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative research with a population and sample of class I students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau, namely a population of 49 students and a sample taken from class IA totaling 24 students. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, teacher interviews and documentation. The results of this research show an increase in initial reading ability using the Scramble learning model.

Abstract

Social studies learning about cultural diversity aims to form students' understanding of the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, and maintaining diversity in everyday life. However, in the learning process, students often have difficulty. One solution that can be implemented is the use of learning media in teaching the topic of cultural diversity in social studies classes. The aim of this research is to analyze learning media that can improve the quality of students' understanding of the importance of maintaining cultural diversity in Indonesia and also to find out the types of teaching media in social studies learning on cultural material. This research method uses a literature study approach. The results of this research are that social studies learning about culture can be carried out using the help of teaching media. Using teaching media can help students understand cultural concepts. Learning media has three functions, namely 1.) effective function, 2.) cognitive function, and 3.) compensatory function.

Abstract

The phenomenon of toxic friendship among Bhayangkara University of Greater Jakarta students, which has a negative impact on mental, social, and academic health. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study involved a psychoeducational intervention consisting of a pre-test, material delivery, and post-test to measure the effectiveness of the program. The psychoeducation included an understanding of the characteristics, impacts, and anticipation strategies of toxic friendship, emphasizing Ibn Miskawaih's principles of friendship ethics, such as choosing friends wisely, maintaining healthy boundaries, and prioritizing cooperation. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of toxic friendship and the importance of building healthy friendships. This study contributes to the toxic friendship literature and offers practical solutions through psychoeducation and the formation of support groups to create a positive friendship environment on campus.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model students’ mathematical problem solving skills and compare it with conventional learning method. This study was conducted at MTs Al-Rahmah, Serang City. The type of study used was True Eksperimental Design using Pretest-Posttest Control Group. The Samples size was 60 students from the total population of class VIII MTs Al-Rahmah which was taken randomly using sample random sampling technique. The results of this study showed that, (1) there was a significant effect of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model on students’ mathematical problem solving skills with a tcount value of 21,498 > ttable = 2,048 which means Ho was rejected and (2) there was a significant difference in improving of mathematical problem solving skills between students used Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model and students used conventional learning model with a tcount value of 6,2454 > ttable = 2,048 which means H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research discusses the importance of the role of Islamic education in the modern era. The foundation of Islamic education, namely the Qur'an and Hadith, is the main reference for reform after renewal in the context of its implementation of the development of education in the Islamic world which continues to develop. In Indonesia itself, the implementation of national education is regulated in Law No. 20 concerning the National Education System. No less important, the reform is certainly inseparable from the role of Islamic figures who struggle through their thoughts so that Islamic education continues to go hand in hand and not be left behind even though the times continue to develop. The purpose of this research is specific to one of the figures of Islamic modernization, namely Ibn Khaldun. From his perspective, Ibn Khaldun gave criticism as well as improvement of the Islamic education system. In this context, Ibn Khaldun conveyed his ideas regarding the modernization of the educational process. In this study, Ibn Khaldun's thoughts on his views on the concept of modernization offered as a form of realization by the Indonesian nation itself as outlined in the National Education System Law, and also its implementation on the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. This type of research is included in qualitative research (library research) which examines a theoretical and in-depth study so that conclusions will be obtained. The results of this study show that there is a conformity between Ibn Khaldun's thinking views regarding the concept of modernization offered to its implementation in the management of the Islamic education system. Its relevance to the current Islamic education process is that Islamic education should not only be directed to theoretical understanding, but also need to be faced with social reality, systematic teaching materials, maturation of the foundation of Islamic values, so that a generation that is able to be competitive in Indonesia in today's modern world is born. Not only that, the thought of modernizing Islamic education offered by Ibn Khaldun also has an impact on the policies taken with the goals and values agreed upon in the regulations in accordance with the demands of the times.

Abstract

Research findings state that the review or intention of the Qur'an regarding multicultural education does not conflict with Islamic teachings in any way, especially the Qur'an as a source of Islamic law. The differences that exist in reality are an asset for scholars to study, as the Qur'an has explained. Through multicultural education, it is hoped that every person or group will accept and appreciate the differences between them, live with harmonious words in order to create peace and a prosperous nation. Another interesting finding in this research is that there are five roles of multicultural education in the view of the Koran; learn to live with differences, building three mutual aspects (trusting and understanding each other, open-mindedness, appreciation and interdependence), as there is no violent conflict resolution and peace. In fact, several characteristics are formed using Al-Qur'an verses and tafsir as references which show that the concept of multicultural education is parallel to Islamic teachings governing the structure of humanity living on earth, especially in the context of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) or Kombel (Learning Community) in enhancing the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD IT AL-'IZZ in Sukabumi Regency. MGMP functions as a collaborative forum for teachers to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in teaching. Through various activities such as training, workshops, and discussions, MGMP is expected to improve teachers' skills and motivation in implementing effective learning processes.The research method employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that active participation of teachers in MGMP positively contributes to the enhancement of their pedagogical competencies, although several challenges exist, such as low member participation and limited resources. Recommendations for improving the effectiveness of MGMP include developing relevant training programs and support from school management. This research is anticipated to provide insights for the professional development of teachers and the improvement of educational quality at SD IT AL-'IZZ.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is an approach aimed at enhancing cooperation among students in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing cooperative learning models in improving student collaboration in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subjects. This research employs a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data related to students' responses and interactions during the learning process. The results show that the application of cooperative learning not only enhances students' understanding of the material but also strengthens their teamwork, sense of responsibility, and social skills within the group. Through cooperative learning, students are more active, supportive of one another, and highly motivated to grasp the subject matter. This indicates that the cooperative learning model has a significant contribution in supporting classroom learning success, especially in IPAS subjects.
