Abstract

Education aims to help students achieve maturity through effective interaction. Science learning emphasizes environmental understanding through observation and experimentation. The jigsaw cooperative model facilitates active interaction in small groups. This study evaluates the jigsaw model's application in fourth-grade science learning at SD Negeri 1 Widodo using a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teaching steps were well-implemented, improving students' motivation, participation, and learning outcomes, with 24 out of 26 students achieving good to excellent scores. The jigsaw model effectively fosters a cooperative and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Learning at school does not seem to be able to overcome learning difficulties at school, as well as reading difficulties that occur to students at SD N 03 Makbon, Sorong Regency, as many as 17 people have not been able to read fluently. Initial observations show that the approach method used by educators is less effective. The purpose of this study is to find out the learning style of students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, with 17 respondents, and observation data collection methods as well as interviews. The results of the study show that the most prominent learning style used by students is the visual learning style. This is because students prefer to learn by watching their teachers explain in front of the class.

Abstract

Final-year students often face time pressure when completing their final projects, impacting mental health and academic achievement. This study investigates the importance of time management for final-year students in completing their final projects. Using a literature review method, various articles related to time management and academic achievement were analyzed. The results show that effective time management enhances productivity, reduces stress, and improves project quality. Factors like prioritization, scheduling, and distraction management are crucial for effective time management. Good time management is key to final-year students' success in completing their projects. Therefore, developing effective time management strategies is essential to enhance academic achievement.

Abstract

Generation Z in the field of education tends to be more interested in visual and audiovisual learning methods. Augmented Reality (AR) plays a significant role in the era of digitalization, especially in the education sector, including Arabic language learning. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of AR in improving Arabic language learning for Generation Z. The research employs a qualitative method and a literature study approach, involving the collection, evaluation, and analysis of written sources such as scientific journal articles, books, research reports, and other relevant documents related to the use of AR in Arabic language learning. The findings indicate that students who learn using AR experience a significant increase in motivation and comprehension of Arabic language material. This is because AR provides a learning experience that is more interactive, visual, and aligned with the characteristics of the digital generation. Thus, the integration of AR in Arabic language learning presents an innovative solution to address the challenges of education in the digital era and enhances the overall effectiveness of Arabic language teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to identify challenges in implementing Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 2 Limboto. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The results of this study indicate that the challenges in the application of independent learning in the independent curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMAN 2 Limboto School are the teacher's lack of understanding of the curriculum and the Lack of Readiness of Islamic Religious Education Teachers of SMAN 2 Limboto in Implementing the Independent Curriculum in the Learning Process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social identity and self identity on green purchase intention. The sampling technique used convenience sampling and the respondents in this study were 252 students of SMAS PGRI 1 Bekasi City. The measuring instruments used in this study are the social identity scale and the self identity scale. The results of this study indicate that the correlation coefficient between social identity and green purchase intention has a correlation coefficient of 0.169 with a significance of 0.007. And the relationship between self identity and green purchase intention shows a correlation coefficient of 0.170 with a significance value of 0.007, which is also significant at the 5% level. Furthermore, the relationship between social identity and self identity has a correlation coefficient of 0.182 with a significance value of 0.004. So it can be concluded that although the correlation is weak, there is a relationship between social identity and self identity on green purchase intention among students of SMAS PGRI 1 Bekasi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-adjustment and student well-being at SMP X Bekasi City. Self-adjustment, which includes emotional, intellectual, social, and responsibility maturity, is considered to contribute significantly to student well-being which consists of social, cognitive, emotional, physical, personal, and spiritual aspects. Using a quantitative approach and correlational analysis techniques, this study involved 110 respondents using the Cluster Sampling technique. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-adjustment and student well-being, where students who are able to adapt effectively tend to have a higher level of well-being. This finding confirms the importance of the school environment in supporting students' self-adjustment to holistically improve their well-being.

Abstract

Students require a good school well-being to enhance their comfort, happiness, and reduce fear in the school environment. Therefore, students must possess high self-efficacy to manage their emotions, impulses, and behaviors. This study aims to analyze the impact of self-efficacy on students' school well-being. The research method used is a quantitative approach with cluster sampling technique, involving 127 respondents. The data analysis results show a significant correlation between self-efficacy and school well-being, ranging from 0.328 to 0.648 for self-efficacy and 0.328 to 0.605 for school well-being, which exceeds the significance threshold of 0.3. The correlation coefficient of 0.805 identifies a very strong relationship between self-efficacy and school well-being. This indicates that self-efficacy plays a role as one of the predictors of school well-being in students. Therefore, it is hoped that the development of self-efficacy aspects in students can be carried out in various ways. With increased self-efficacy, students are expected to demonstrate confidence and self-assurance while in the school environment.

Abstract

The prevalence of children with special needs in Indonesia is increasing, up to 10% of the total population of children. This means that about 10 out of every 100 children in Indonesia have special needs. The presence of children with special needs is a challenge in itself, which encourages all stakeholders to be able to formulate policies that favour the interests of children with special needs so that they get the same rights, especially in education as other children in general. Inclusion for all students is not just a hope, but an educational goal that must be achieved. The inclusion programme provides opportunities for children with special needs to receive education, optimise their potential and meet their learning needs, which in turn encourages the achievement of compulsory education targets. Teachers are one of the most important factors in the implementation of inclusive education, the success and achievement of education is highly dependent on the readiness of teachers as implementers of the inclusive education programme. This study aims to determine the readiness of teachers in implementing inclusive education, especially in schools. The research method used is literature review by filtering articles related to the time span 2018-2024. The results of the search for related journals were obtained as many as 8 journals which were analysed using thematic data techniques. The results of this study indicate that the readiness of teachers to implement inclusive education is still very low and unprepared. This is because teachers have no experience in teaching children with special needs. Teachers do not know the specific characteristics of children with special needs, besides that the ability of teachers is still very limited in terms of conducting assessments and identifying children's cases, developing learning programmes that suit children's needs, and the absence of training obtained by teachers to improve teachers' knowledge and abilities.

Abstract

The integration of Christian education and theology has an important role in shaping the character of the young generation in Toraja. Toraja society, which is rich in cultural traditions and Christian values, requires an approach that combines academic and spiritual aspects to create individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have noble character. Education in Toraja must involve in-depth teaching of Christian principles, such as love, honesty, and hard work, which can be applied to everyday life. Christian theology provides a strong moral foundation in developing positive attitudes and behavior among the younger generation. Through the synergy between formal education and religious teachings, it is hoped that the young Torajan generation can grow into individuals who are responsible, empathetic and have a high commitment to good and human values. Thus, this integration contributes to the formation of a strong and competitive character in the era of globalization.
