Abstract

Teenagers (students) still need to be given learning using the Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) method, because PBI can increase students' knowledge and creativity in critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) learning method on adolescent behaviour in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 at SMPN 1 Mojoanyar Kab. Mojokerto. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a control group. The Sampling technique uses Total Sampling as many as 26 respondents. The researcher gave the stages in this study starting from collecting data by giving questionnaires to the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given an intervention using the Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) method which was carried out by giving a case which was then discussed together. This treatment was carried out 2 times within 1 week with various cases. Then a final assessment was carried out by filling out a questionnaire and followed by data analysis and drawing conclusions about the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) learning method on behaviour in the prevention of COVID-19 in both the treatment group and the control group. The results showed that the Problem-Based Instruction method was able to increase the behaviour of respondents in preventing the transmission of Covid-19, namely from 9 (34.6%) to 22 (84.6%). Meanwhile, in the control group, the number increased from 11 (42.3%) to only 12 (53.8%). The statistical test results show p-value = 0.000 less than = 0.05 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the Problem-Based Instruction learning method on changes in adolescent behaviour in preventing the transmission of COVID-19.

Abstract

Victims of criminal acts only get inner satisfaction from the punishment imposed on the perpetrators but do not get anything that has a direct impact on them. The codified concept of Indonesian punishment in the Criminal Code (KUHP) regulates more aspects related to perpetrators of criminal acts and sentencing. Not much regulates the rights of victims of criminal acts. This paradigm shift began to occur after the enactment of Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning the Protection of Witnesses and Victims, where in this Law the rights of Witnesses and Victims began to be considered. Victims are individuals who are harmed materially or immaterially for the occurrence of criminal acts that they receive. In cases of sexual violence against children, it results in losses suffered by child victims in the short and long term which require recovery of the child's condition. Law Number 13 of 2006 juncto Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims has accommodated restitution. In Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims, the victims of criminal acts have the right to obtain restitution rights in the form of compensation for loss of property or income, compensation for losses caused by suffering directly related to the crime, and/or reimbursement for medical and/or psychological treatment costs. However, at present the implementation of restitution for victims of crimes against children is considered not optimal, especially regarding the implementation of restitution that can be given to victims.

Abstract

The high intensity of flooding in Indonesia makes people have to be aware of flood disasters. An important factor in flood disaster management is community preparedness which requires knowledge about flood disaster risks. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge with flood disaster preparedness in the community. This research design is correlation analytic with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all responsible family heads aged 20-50 years, totalling 143 families. In this study using simple random sampling (n = 38 people). The instrument used was a questionnaire. The results showed that most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge 25 people (65.8%), most of the respondents were alert to flood disasters 25 people (65.8%). The results of the Spearman Rho test analysis obtained a pvalue of 0.000 less than α (0.05) and a coefficient correlation value of 0.678 so that H1 is accepted, which means that there is a strong relationship between the level of knowledge and preparedness for flood disasters in the community. Knowledge will affect the community's concern to be ready and alert in anticipating disasters, especially for those who live in areas vulnerable to flooding.
