Abstract

Poverty remains a critical global challenge, central to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030. This study examines the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI), unemployment, and income inequality (Gini Ratio) on poverty rates in Central Java (2011–2024) using quantitative methods. Time-series data from Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency (BPS) were analyzed through multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests to ensure validity. Results indicate that HDI significantly reduces poverty, underscoring the importance of enhancing education, health, and living standards. However, unemployment and income inequality showed no statistically significant effects in this model, suggesting the need for deeper contextual analysis. These findings highlight the prioritization of HDI improvement in poverty alleviation strategies, while also considering complementary factors like infrastructure and social protection. The study contributes to SDG-oriented policymaking but recommends further research with expanded variables and broader samples to refine poverty reduction frameworks. By focusing on human capital development, Central Java can advance toward inclusive, sustainable poverty eradication.

Abstract

Marital dissatisfaction due to poor communication and conflict, as well as extraversion personality, are themain factors for infidelity tendencies. This study aims to explore the relationship between extraversionpersonality and marital satisfaction on infidelity tendencies in early adult individuals. A quantitativeapproach was used with multiple linear regression analysis method. The research sample amounted to 270early adult individuals aged 18-40 years old who were married and working, who were selected using nonprobability sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring extraversionpersonality, marital satisfaction, and infidelity tendencies. The results of the analysis showed thatextraversion personality had a significant positive influence on infidelity tendency (regression coefficientof 0.627, p = 0.000). In contrast, marital satisfaction did not show a significant influence on the tendency(regression coefficient -0.163, p = 0.328). Overall, the regression model was able to explain 18.3% of thevariation in infidelity tendency, while 81.7% was influenced by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between childfree status and women’s labor force participation in Indonesia, using data from the March 2023 Susenas. The childfree group—defined as women who have never given birth, are not pregnant, and use contraception—comprises only 917 women (0.07% of the sample), primarily urban, educated, and of working age. Using binary logistic regression, the analysis reveals that childfree women are more likely to participate in the labor market, especially those who have never married. Although the association is only marginally significant, the trend suggests that fertility preferences may influence economic behavior. Despite the small sample, these findings provide early evidence of shifting norms among Indonesian women and emphasize the need for inclusive labor and social policies that acknowledge diverse life choices. The study adds to the limited literature on voluntary childlessness in developing countries and encourages broader discussions on gender, fertility, and employment.

Abstract

The covid 19 pandemic makes students have to take online learning, this causes students to feel bored and commit academic procrastination in doing assignments. Many factors cause academic procrastination, including parental social support and self-control. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parental social support and self-control with academic procrastination in students doing online learning during the covid-19 pandemic both partially and together. This research method uses quantitative research methods with multiple regression data analysis techniques. The research variables were measured using an academic procrastination scale, a parental social support scale and a self-control scale. The research subjects were students at SMP Negeri 3 Luwuk who underwent online learning during the covid-19 pandemic with a total research sample of 113 out of 900 students with quota sampling technique. The results of multiple regression analysis show that parental social support and self-control together have a very significant correlation with academic procrastination.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the need for culturally relevant learning resources at PAUD AL-FA’IZIN to strengthen children's understanding of local values. Observations indicated that early childhood learners still face difficulties in understanding and internalizing the philosophical values of Minangkabau culture, particularly Adat Basandi Syara’, Syara’ Basandi Kitabullah (ABS-SBK), with a special focus on Alam Takambang Jadi Guru. Existing learning materials have not fully integrated these values into daily teaching and learning activities. Therefore, this study aimed to develop an ABS-SBK-based storybook as a contextual and engaging learning medium for children. The research used a Research and Development (RnD) approach, employing the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving teachers, parents, and experts in education and culture. The storybook was developed using narratives that incorporate ABS-SBK values and illustrations appropriate to early childhood developmental stages. Validation results showed that the storybook is feasible and has a high level of readability. Teachers and parents responded positively, and children demonstrated improved understanding and application of these values. The study concludes that the storybook is an effective learning medium for strengthening cultural identity from an early age.

Abstract

Islamic education at the secondary school level has a strategic role in shaping the character of students who are inclusive and able to appreciate diversity in a multicultural society. However, the integration of the values of multiculturalism and inclusivity in educational practice still faces various challenges, such as cultural resistance and limited understanding of teachers. This research aims to answer three problem formulations, namely: how the concepts of inclusivity and multiculturalism are integrated in Islamic education, strategies used to strengthen the value of inclusivity, and challenges and opportunities for its implementation. The method used is library research or literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing various sources of literature, both national and international. The results of the study show that strengthening inclusivity in multicultural Islamic education can be done through the development of a curriculum that is responsive to diversity, teacher training, and the creation of a school environment that is supportive of the values of tolerance and ihtiram at-tanawwu' (respect for diversity). In conclusion, multicultural Islamic education in secondary schools has great potential in building an inclusive society, but continuous commitment from all parties is needed. The recommendation of this study is the need for synergy between the government, schools, and the community in implementing education oriented to inclusivity and at-ta'ayush as-silmi (peaceful life together).
