Abstract

This study aims (1) to find out how students use smartphones at SMA Negeri 2 Takengon (2) to find out whether smartphone use affects student learning outcomes. The results of this study are that the value of Y = 0.25 + 0.-12 where the value of the coefficient b = -0.12 (negative) then the regression model is negative or unidirectional, meaning that if smartphone use increases, student scores will decrease. the results of the correlation analysis to find out how closely the X and Y variables are related, the value of r = 0.9915 shows that there is a very strong relationship between the X and Y variables, namely Smartphone Use and Student Learning Outcomes and to determine the magnitude of the influence of smartphone use on outcomes student learning can be seen from the degree of determinant (coefficient of determination), r2 as follows r2 = 89% which shows that student learning outcomes are influenced by smartphone use by 89%.

The research findings reveal that Mt indirectly took over the discussion leadership without needing approval from other members, assumed more responsibility and a larger portion of tasks compared to other members, demonstrated dominance in presenting ideas, effectively communicated with group members, and explains ideas to other group members. On the other hand, Ms showed willingness to participate, effectively presented ideas but required approval, especially from Mt, and is more democratic and flexible in completing tasks. Meanwhile, Mr displayed reluctance to participate, passivity, hesitation in presenting ideas, and a willingness to accept other members' ideas without critiquing them beforehand.

Indonesia has various cultural diversity, one of which is traditional houses. Each region has traditional houses that have their own style. The aim of this research is to explore the ethnomathematics found in traditional houses through literature studies from previous research. The research method applied is a systematic literature review. The search for journals and proceedings used the Google Scholar database via publish or perish, with a time span from 2019 to 2023. Based on the search results using publish or perish, 220 articles were obtained. The articles were then selected based on exclusion and inclusion criteria to become 22. The results of the analysis showed that the concept of mathematics is often found in home ornaments and architecture. Mathematical concepts discovered include flat shapes, spatial shapes, transformation geometry, similarity, and congruence. Mathematical concepts found in traditional houses can be implemented into learning by using them as questions, learning activities, learning media, and learning resources.
