Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of narrative writing skill by using experiental learning models at grade V student of Elementary School. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri35 Parak Karakah, Padang city with a total of 22 students consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. The result of the narrative writing skill in the pre-writing at cycle I 57,8 (C) increases on cycle II 87,5 (SB). The writing phase in the first cycle 48,8 (K), increased in the second cycle 79,7 (B), the post-writing phase cycle I 58,3 (C) increases in cycle II 84,3 (B).  Keywords: Increased, narrative writing, experiental lerning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method to the text understanding of Grade V students of the Elementary School Group I, Akabiluru District, Lima Puluh Kota. This type of research is Quasy Experiment (quasi-experimental) with pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. The sample uses purposive sampling with lottery. Samples totaled 37 people. The results of the t-test are greater than the t-table. Which is t-count of 2.2169 and t-table 2.0301 with a significance level of α = 0.05. By getting t-count greater than t-table means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It was concluded that there was an influence of the CIRC method on the understanding of the text of Grade V students of the Elementary School in Cluster I of Akabiluru District, Lima Puluh Kota.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh guru yang masih menerapkan cara mencatat secara tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran PKn SD kelas V di SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experiment  tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kela VA dan VB. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik analisis data berupa uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test yang didahului dengan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh harga thitung sebesar 0,824 dan harga ttabel dengan t(0,05;38) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk 38  adalah 0,031545 sehingga thitung  >ttabel, yang berarti Ha diterima yaitu  terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan teknik Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar pada Pembelajaran PKn SD Kelas di SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling

Abstract

Basically this study aims to describe student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with STAD type cooperative models in class VA SD country 03 Batu Balang Limapuluh Kota. this research by combining a qulititative and quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were class teacher and VA class students where there were 10 male students and 10 female students. The result of the study showed that in a) planning cycle I received a value of 79,16% with sufficient qualification, increased in cycle II to 95,83% with very good qualifications, b) implementation of learning on the aspects of teacher and aspect students cycle I scored 79,69% with sufficient quality of education experienced an increase in the second cycle to 96,87% with very good qualifications, c) student learning outcomes in the first cycle scored 82,83% with a sufficient succcess rate then increased in yhe second cycle to 94,13% with a success rate very good.

Abstract

This reseach aims at finding out a significant difference of students learning outcomes of the scale between the PBL and Problem Posing Models of learning outcomes Scale in the Plan in class V SD Group 1 Payakumbuh City. This type of research is an experiment using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. The samples were students of class VA and VB of SDN 28 Payakumbuh. The research sample was 40 students selected based on cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used in collecting data is a test with a description form. Based on the t-test of the students post-test scores, it was found that tcount 2,08> ttable 2,02 α 0,05. It means the PBL model is a better compared to the Problem Posing model class V SD Group 1 Payakumbuh City.Keywords: PBL, Problem Posing, sclae learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the low learning results of the students caused by teacher’s less maximal effort in using the strategies in teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of Science learning results with inquiry learning strategy in Grade VI of Elementary School 01 Nan Sabaris. This research is a Class Action Research which uses qualitative and quantitative approach. The data is obtained from observation and test sheets. The research results in each cycles that have been done shows the improvement on  Lesson Plan assessment by 72.00% to 90.26%, on teacher’s performance aspect bby 72.92% to 87.50%, on students’ aspect by 68.75% to 83.33%, and on learning results aspect by 71.17% to 84.44% in average. Thus, inquiry learning strategy is able to improve students’ learning results in Science learning in Grade VI of Elementary School 01, Nan Sabaris.  Key words: learning result, inquiry learning strategy

Abstract

This research aims to improve the rade students’ integrated thematiclearning process by using the problem based learning model in class IV. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects were the teacher and the grade students in class IV. The result of the research revealedthat from the first cycle to the secound one. The score of the lesson plan improved from 86,11% to 97,22%. the teacher’s activities improved from 81,24% to 94,64%, thestudents activities improved from 78,56% to 92,86%. and the students learning achievementimproved from 2,89 to 3.48.

The problem to meet is distribution in the class still teacher central. The study is borring. Observation cause is description achievement augmentation study distribution with curse problem solving grade two in elementary school number 55 Batang Piarau Lubuk Basung. This observation is abservation action class with curse quality and quantity. Proces this observation is phase proces who begun from facet blossom plan, doing ciction like planing, doing scrutiny for action and do reflection with. Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan, namely cycle I obtained a percentage of  83.33% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 97.2% (Very Good). (2) the implementation of learning cycle I obtained a percentage of 79,7% , cycle II obtained a percentage of 96,9% (Very Good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

The study was aimed at describing the improvement of students’ activities in learning the Social Science subject by using Role Playing Model at 5th grade of  Sungai Geringging, Padang Pariaman. The subjects of the study were the teachers and 18 students of the school. The classroom action research was conducted in this research. The result of the research shows that the students’ activities increased from the first cycle to the second one: visual activity increased from 72.22% (adequate) in cycle I to 87.49% (very good) in cycle II; (b) oral activity increased from 71.17% (adequate) in cycle I to 86.45% (very good) in cycle II; (c) listening activity increased from 72.56% (adequate) in cycle I to 86.10% (very good) in cycle II; (d) metric activity increased from 72.22% (adequate) in cycle I to 86.8% (very good) in cycle II; (e) emotional activity increased from 73.61% (adequate) in cycle I to 86.8% (very good) in cycle II. This means that the Role Playing model is able to improve the students’ activities in learning The Social Science Subject. Keywords: The Social Sciens Subject , Role Playing Model
