Abstract

The era of society 5.0 has an impact on all aspects of human life, including education. This era is characterized by the increasingly central role of technology in human life. The world of education must be able to follow the acceleration of currents that can change in a moment to follow the era of society 5.0. Likewise, Islamic religious education plays an important role in developing a quality generation of nations. Of course, technology must be utilized in Islamic religious education, especially in PAI learning. Based on this fact, it is necessary to make changes and continue to evaluate its development, so that the learning objectives of Islamic Religious Education can be achieved optimally, through the development of critical thinking skills in Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research objectives of this article are to explain the importance of understanding the concept of HOTS in Islamic education, to analyze the challenges of Islamic education in developing HOTS in the Society 5.0 era, and to provide solutions to strengthen the development of HOTS in Islamic education. The research method uses qualitative descriptive method.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out how the theological, philosophical, sociological and political backgrounds of the birth of the integration of the sciences of religion and science, and its future. This writing uses the method of literature review. Literature review contains reviews, summaries, and written thoughts about several sources of literature (can be in the form of articles, books, slides, information, the internet, etc.), about the topics discussed. The results of the research show that the birth of the integration of religion and science has a background that can be analyzed from various aspects starting from theological, philosophical, sociological and political aspects. The future of the integration of religion and science depends on the seriousness of all stakeholders in the world of Islamic education in implementing all the approaches to the integration of religion and science. In line with that,Indonesian Muslim thinkers have designed a conception of scientific integration with an emphasis on the epistemological aspect, in addition to the ontological aspect,the following are their conceptions of thought which are grouped based on the common thread of the main ideas, namely: (a) Integrative-Interconnective Approach Model (Net Profit), (b) Islamic Objectification Model, and (c) Holistic Integration Model.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss philosophical thought of Islamic education (essentialism).. This research is a library research, namely research that originates from library materials using a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that essentialism is a philosophical school that wants humans to return to old culture. There are several advantages and disadvantages of essentialism, namely: a) Essentialism helps to return subject matter to the educational process, but does not support perennialism. that the true subject matter is the eternal reality presented in the great books of western civilization, b) the Great Book can be used but not for themselves but to be related to current realities, and c) change is a unchangeable reality in social life. The weaknesses are a) schools are not allowed to influence or determine social policies, b) essentialist thinkers generally do not have a unified line because they are guided by different philosophies, and c) the teacher's role is very dominant as someone who controls the field, and is a model very good. The general views of essentialist philosophy, namely: a) Ontological views (reality), b) Epistemological views (views of knowledge), c) Axiological views (views of values), and d) Views on education.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a place for children with special needs to get the same education without being differentiated. This study aims to describe the learning process and the obstacles experienced by deaf children at SDIP YLPI Pekanbaru in learning. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. This study uses interviews, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is according to Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the learning process which consists of the planning stage, the implementation stage and the assessment stage for deaf children is not different from other regular children. The planning stage includes the availability of syllabus, lesson plans and PPI for deaf children. The implementation phase consists of opening activities, core activities and closing activities. And the assessment stage given includes attitude assessment, knowledge assessment and skills assessment. In the implementation of learning, several obstacles were encountered, such as limited time to design special plans, difficulty communicating due to language limitations experienced by deaf children and difficulties in giving judgment considerations for deaf children.

Abstract

This scientific study is about the interpretation of contemporary theology. Theology is a study that explains the divine paradigm. It is undeniable that the study of divinity cannot be separated from religious aspects. This paper tries to be more specific in examining this theological issue from the perspective of the Qur’an in this contemporary era. The method used is the interpretation of al-maudhu'i by not abandoning all aspects that can be achieved. The results achieved can provide a comprehensive explanation, especially about theology based on the interpretation of verses of the Koran. More specifically, this study describes the meanings of the Koran which speak of moderation in Islamic beliefs. This can be seen from several of its characteristics, namely in accordance with nature and reason, clear and easy, free from confusion and paradox, sturdy and timeless and not contrary to science, while the moderation of the primacy of Islamic belief in Jewish and Christian theology can be seen from several aspects, namely aspects of divinity, prophecy, Angels, Scriptures. To see in simple terms the development of Islamic thought related to contemporary theological interpretations, it can be seen from Asghar Ali Engineer's view of his theology of liberation (liberation theology).

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe students' difficulties in solving word problems in mathematics learning on geometrical material in the VA class of SDN 176 Pekanbaru. This research method is a qualitative research using a case study approach. The results and conclusions consist of three types, namely as follows: First, students' difficulties in understanding the concept where there are still students who think that mathematics is material that is difficult, scary and unpleasant to learn. The teacher's efforts to overcome students' difficulties in understanding this concept namely by providing learning motivation to students and using unique and interesting learning media during the learning process. Second, students' difficulties in using principles where students have difficulty knowing and explaining the types of geometric shapes discussed in story problems, while the efforts made by the teacher in overcoming students difficulties in using principles are developing good attitudes and study habits. Third, difficulties in solving verbal problems where students have difficulty interpreting and understanding the meaning of language and story problem instructions, and difficulties in using formulas to be used, while the teacher effort to overcome student difficulties in solving verbal problems are providing sufficient and repeated practice and teaching multiplication student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's skills are in applying media variations at SDIP YLPI Pekanbaru. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. This study used three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is according to Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that teachers already have good skills in applying media variations. The media used have varied, namely power points, learning videos, pictures and others. The application of the media used has adjusted to the characteristics of the students and the design of the lesson plan used. The skills possessed by the teacher are in the form of relevance, teacher ability, ease of use, availability and usefulness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of poster comment media in increasing students' critical thinking in the Civics Subject of Class V Students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research using a pre-experimental approach. The population and sample of this study are Grade V B students at SDN 112 Pekanbaru totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation, documentation. This test uses validation and reliability. For analysis prerequisite test namely normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test. While testing this hypothesis using the T test results in a significant value of less than 0.05, namely Sig. (0.000) < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The decision to test the hypothesis partially can be concluded that there is an influence of poster comment media on students' critical thinking in Civics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role as a motivator in the learning interest of grade I students at SDIP YLPI Pekanbaru. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. This study used three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is according to Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the teacher had carried out the teacher's role as a motivator in the learning interest of grade I students by giving grades or numbers, giving prizes, creating competition, giving praise, giving punishment, giving tests and evaluations, using various learning methods, and informing student learning outcomes

Abstract

This paper discusses the relationship between normative Islam and historical Islam. The method used is library research. The results of the study show that: 1) the notion of normative Islam is: norms, teachings, references, provisions regarding good and bad issues, what may be done and what may not be done while historical Islam means history which means past experience of mankind, 2) Normative Islamic studies explain law/fiqh, theology, philosophy and Sufism, 3) historical Islamic studies give birth to traditions or empirical study disciplines: religious anthropology, sociology of religion, psychology of religion, 4) the relationship between normative Islam and historical Islam can form a dialectical relationship and tension. Dialectical relations occur when there is a back-and-forth dialogue that illuminates each other between text and context
