Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengthening of multicultural (sociological) attitude intelligence. The research method in this paper uses qualitative research methods. The results of this study are forms of strengthening multicultural attitude intelligence consisting of: 1) democratic attitudes, 2) Pluralism attitudes, 3) Humanism attitudes, and 4) tolerance attitudes, while forms of strengthening intelligence are 1) multicultural attitudes, 2) pluralism attitudes and 3) attitude of humanism

Abstract

Pedagogic competence has an important role in student learning motivation because with strong guidance and encouragement it is able to provide enthusiasm and encouragement so that students change. The success of a lesson depends on how the teacher manages the class and the students. Teachers are not only about how to educate children, but also can understand the characteristics, attitudes and needs of students in order to be able to design learning in the classroom well. This study aims to improve teacher pedagogical competence in class IV SD Islam Plus YLPI Riau. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. This study used three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is according to Meles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification results. The results of the study show that there is a teacher's pedagogic competence that really needs to be owned by a teacher because it affects the way a teacher teaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in teacher activity, student activity, and students' understanding of concepts through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach at SDN 005 Gunung Sari. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is carried out in class IV-1 with a total of 34 students. Based on the results of data analysis of the teacher activity observation sheet in cycle I (64.77%), it was included in the sufficient category and in cycle II, the teacher's ability continued to increase to (78.40%), namely in the good category, while in cycle III it continued to increase by ( 90.90%), namely in the very good category. The results of observations of student activity in cycle I (63.09%) were in the adequate category and in cycle II student activity increased (77.38%) included in the good category, cycle III it continued to increase by (89.28%)very good category. The results of students' understanding of concepts in cycle I with a percentage value (61.76%) included in the adequate category, in cycle II the average value had increased to (76.02%) including in the good category.cycle III it continued to increase by (87.64%), namely in the very good category and had fulfilled classical completeness

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Learning Interests on Student Learning Outcomes in Man 2 Semarang. Students of Man 2 Semarang were the object of this study. This study also serves to see how important student interest in learning to student learning outcomes in English subjects at the senior high school level. The sample was conducted on 33 students of Man 2 Semarang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling in which the respondents were some of the students of MAN 2 Semarang. The data collected by distributing questionnaires using a 4-point Likert scale to measure 8 statement items. The analysis technique used was linear regression analysis. The results showed that first, students' interest in learning simultaneously had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Second, student learning interest had a partial and significant impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Lack of teacher ability in conveying water cycle material, the media that is often used so far still uses picture media to explain. Interactive power point media has the potential to help students understand the material by involving students in learning to increase students' learning motivation. Therefore, researchers are interested in developing learning media in the form of interactive power points which are expected to help the needs of teachers and students in learning material that is easier to understand. This research is research and development using a 4D model which is simplified into three stages, namely (Define, Design, and Development). The data collection instrument is in the form of a questionnaire given to material experts, media experts and language experts to test validity. The type of data obtained from research results is qualitative data which is analyzed using quantitative data in the form of numerical data and interpreted using assessment criteria guidelines to determine product quality. The results of this research produced an interactive PowerPoint media product that met the very valid criteria with an average score of 98.9% for media experts, 97.9% for material experts, and 87.5% for language experts with very valid criteria.

Abstract

The results of this study, produce learning video media products that meet very valid criteria with an average score media experts 97%, material experts 100%, and language experts 96.8% with very valid criteria.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the integration of science with religion and Islamic educational thought from Nidhal Guessoum's perspective. The research method used is library research. The results of the research show that: a) Nidhal Guessoum's work consists of approximately 8 book titles, one of which is quite popular in Indonesia, namely Islam's Question Reconciling Muslim Tradition and Modern Science (2011), with the Indonesian title "Islam and Modern Science" ( 2015), The Determination of Lunar Crescent Month and The Islamic (1993), The Story of The Universe (2002), and Kalam is Necessary Engagement with Modern Science (2011). b) Nidhal Guessoum's thought builds an understanding of God in terms of Islamic philosophy as well as science, c) Nidhal Guessoum's school of thought embeds principles to support his quantum method in the form of theistic falsification principles which are scientific methodologies. Islamic scientific treasures are not passive, they will continue to be dynamic, experience progress and always carry out reconstruction as a responsibility to face the demands of the realities of life. For this reason, Nidhal Guessoum's thinking is very full of contextual-falsificative typology, and e). Implications of Nidhal Guessoum's ideas in Islamic education.

Abstract

This research is studying about Islamic boarding school in general both classic (salafi) or modern (Khalafi) adopt the curriculum of classical texts or studying the kitab kuning as their characteristic. DarulMursyid Islamic boarding school at the standing start aiming for tafaqquh fiddin that changing the goal of becoming a science Islamic boarding school. This research used field research approach with the type of research is qualitative.The determination of informants of this research used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using the concept of Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the research show that: 1.the transformation of Islamic junior high school and Islamic senior high school curriculum of Darul Mursyid Islamic boarding school is the result of the questionnaire evaluation conducted to every student who wants to continue study after graduating from Darul Mursyid and the interest students showed to continue their studies to reputable-university with general basic in java region. 2.the percentage of General and Religious knowledge are as follows: the percentage for General knowledge is 75% dan for Religious knowledge is 25% both of Islamic Junior High School and at Islamic Senior High School

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's strategy is in fostering student confidence in Elementary School 1 Krajan, Klaten Regency, for the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were 2 class teachers and grade 1 students. The research was conducted at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency from May to June 2023. Descriptive qualitative research methodology was used in this study. As opposed to data analysis, which comprises data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, data gathering employs interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that each teacher has their own stategy to foster student self-confidence at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency, students at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency on average already have sufficient self-confidence, and there are studens who have confidence low self.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and obtain information about how the independent curriculum is implemented in madrasas and secondary schools. This article was written using a literature review method or literature study, namely combining several quotations from available scientific works. So that readers gain a new understanding of what independent curriculum is and how it is implemented in real terms. The results of this research show that the implementation of the curriculum in driving schools has been carried out optimally and is ongoing, although in its implementation there are still many shortcomings and obstacles. The key to success in implementing the curriculum in driving schools is the principal and teachers, the teachers must have the will to make changes. The school principal as a leader must be able to change the mindset of the Human Resources in the school to be willing to make changes so that theĀ  independ curriculum can be implemented.The Merdeka Curriculum as an alternative curriculum overcomes learning setbacks during the pandemic which gives "Freedom to Learn" freedom to learning implementers, namely teachers and school principals, in preparing, implementing the learning process and developing curriculum in schools paying attention to students' needs and potential.
