Abstract

This study aims to explore and gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of facilitators in the Family Hope Program (PKH) in improving family capacity. A qualitative approach is employed, with the main focus on obtaining an in-depth understanding of the social dynamics occurring in the field. Techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using a thematic approach, in which the collected data were grouped into key themes, such as the strategic role of PKH facilitators, their contribution to enhancing family capacity, and the various challenges encountered during the assistance process. The study's results indicated that facilitators play a crucial role in the success of the PKH program, particularly in encouraging improvements in family capacity. In this regard, the role of facilitators encompasses four main functions, as outlined by Jim Ife: facilitators, educators, representatives, and technical implementers. These four roles contribute significantly to changes in KPM behaviour in areas such as education, health, economy, and social awareness. However, the implementation of the facilitator's role has not been fully optimal, especially in technical aspects, due to limited infrastructure, inadequate access to information technology, insufficient administrative support from local policymakers, and program socialisation that has not reached all segments of society. Therefore, the success of PKH assistance is highly dependent on the facilitator's skills and active involvement throughout the process, as well as the need for synergy among various stakeholders to address field challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the potential of Dhoplang Market as a culinary-based tourist attraction in Wonogiri Regency. A qualitative-descriptive method was used to gain a deeper understanding. The results showed that Dhoplang Market has great potential to become a leading tourist destination in Wonogiri Regency, particularly in terms of culinary offerings. Dhoplang Market not only offers culinary delights but also embodies life values and culture, as reflected in the way dishes are served, the clothes worn, the way people interact with each other, and the art that is still showcased to the wider community. Moreover, Dhoplang Market also preserves the environment by reducing all activities that can disturb nature and can prosper the community by prioritising all those involved, from residents and striving for the raw materials to be harvested from the village itself. With the local resources in Pandan Village, it is hoped that it can raise the image of food made from local food in Wonogiri Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the level of acceptance of the Local Government Information System (SIPD) and its contribution to improving the performance of the Regional Planning and Development Agency (BAPPEDA) of Yogyakarta Special Region. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and the theoretical framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by Davis (1989), this study explores employee perceptions of the usefulness and ease of use of SIPD, and uses the approach presented by Dwiyanto (2008) in examining the performance of public sector organizations, which includes five main dimensions, namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that although employees have a positive perception of the perceived usefulness of SIPD, there are still obstacles in the perceived ease of use aspect, such as a less intuitive interface, limited training, and system changes that are not followed by technical assistance. SIPD is proven to contribute to improving work efficiency, inter-sectoral coordination, and information transparency, but has not been optimally utilised. This research recommends system improvements based on user needs, continuous training, and strengthening internal socialisation strategies so that SIPD acceptance can support maximum organisational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the Legal Considerations of Judges in Cases of Sexual Violence Against Children (Study of Decision Number 2627/Pid.Sus/2019/PN.Sby). In compiling this journal, the author conducted normative research. Normative research is conducted by approaching problems through laws and regulations, approaching problems conceptually, and approaching problems through cases. The author analysed to see how judges considered aggravating or mitigating criminal penalties that did not follow the prosecutor's demands and laws and regulations. The results of the study show that in case No. 2627/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Sby, the judge considered elements of aggravation and reduction of criminal penalties by considering legal and non-legal aspects, such as the condition of the defendant, trial facts, and laws and regulations. The judge also used his prerogative in handing down a criminal sentence against the defendant MEMET in the form of a 12-year prison sentence, a fine of Rp100,000,000 with a subsidiary of 3 months in prison, and an additional sentence of chemical castration for 3 years, as demanded by the public prosecutor in the case of sexual violence against children. This decision reflects law enforcement efforts that consider substantive justice and protection of victims.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the reasons behind the shift in US foreign policy towards Saudi Arabia in the Yemen war. Saudi Arabia, as a country involved in the conflict, is attempting to eliminate the Yemeni Houthi militia group. The US has had changing foreign policies towards Saudi Arabia during the Yemen war. Starting from a policy that more supported Saudi involvement in the conflict by providing military and intelligence support, to the emergence of efforts to halt arms sales, and then to a policy that emphasises urging the cessation of Saudi involvement in Yemen through a ceasefire. The change in US government policy towards Saudi Arabia has been driven by external and internal factors, as well as the impact of leadership changes. This research will highlight US policies during the administrations of President Donald J. Trump and President Joe Biden, covering the period from 2017 to 2022. This research will use qualitative and explanatory approaches to examine the shifts in US foreign policy. Journals, media, and official statements from the US and Saudi governments will serve as data for the construction of this research.

Abstract

This research analyses the legal politics of Indonesia's immigration policy during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of national economic recovery. By employing a normative juridical method with a conceptual and statutory approach, the study explores how legal instruments such as visa restrictions and movement control served as tools to protect national security and public health, while also impacting state revenue from the non-tax sector. The results show that post-pandemic immigration policy was strategically adapted to optimise economic functions, such as through the implementation of selective visa policies and innovations like the "Eazy Passport" service. These efforts contributed significantly to the recovery of tourism and the increase of non-tax state revenue (PNBP). The study concludes that immigration policy has effectively transformed from a regulatory mechanism into an economic stimulus instrument, and recommends that future immigration policy remain adaptive and balanced between economic benefit and national security.

Abstract

A task force is an additional duty imposed on traffic personnel with density and workload that exceeds routine duties in maintaining security, order, and traffic flow in certain important situations. Serious attention to this issue is needed to anticipate job burnout that can potentially damage the quality of service and personnel actions to society that impact on institutional reputation. Therefore, this study aims to examine and analyse various factors that affect job burnout, such as job stress, leader-member exchange (LMX), and co-worker support. As many as 89 personnel participate in the term to respond to proposed G-form questionnaires. Then, the data was analysed through Smart-PLS Software and the Two-Stage calculation method to test the moderating effects of co-worker support. The result shows that the direct effect of job stress significantly affects job burnout, but that effect could be weakened strongly by the moderating effect of co-worker support. Further, LMX also has a significant direct effect on job burnout, but the moderating effect of co-worker support on those relationships could substitute for the effect of LMX on job burnout.

Abstract

The purpose of this research discuss the reasons for Azerbaijan to strengthen military cooperation with Turkey in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict using the Balance of Threat perspective developed by Stephen M. Walt. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature studies from scientific journals, official government reports, and analysis of strategic studies institutions. This military cooperation was formed in response to the perceived threat from Armenia, which is considered to have aggregate power, geographical proximity to Azerbaijan's strategic territory, offensive power, and aggressive intentions. The results show that this cooperation is not only based on Turkey's strategic interests in expanding its influence in the Caucasus region. In the Balance of Threat framework, this alliance is a form of balancing against external threats, especially from Armenia and its supporting regional actors.
