Abstract

PT Mifa Bersaudara is a mining company that mines coal commodities, this company operates in West Aceh, Aceh Province. The mining system used is an open pit mining system with a downward mining direction. On March 16, 2021 the main IPD slope of seam C has experienced a landslide at RL 40 to the lowest radius level of RL 25 where the location of the slide is above the highwall seam C slope which is feared to affect the mining process carried out because of the analysis of the condition of the highwall seam C slope also experienced extreme weathering with saturated rock conditions. Based on the results of the analysis carried out during the initial geotechnical exploration of the 2014 Final Report Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Study for MBD Coal Mine at Drill point GT 05 and section J, the specific gravity values of coal 1 and coal 2 = 14 kN/m3, sandstone = 22 kN/m3 , mudstone 1 and mudstone 2 = 23 kN/m3, mudstone 3 = 22 kN/m3. Assuming the rock strength is coal 1 = 4500 kPa, coal 2 = 6000 kPa, sandstone = 700 kPa, mudstone 1 = 800 kPa, mudstone 2 = 2000 kPa, mudstone 3 = 5000 kPa. Whereas the value of the internal friction angle is 0 ͦ which is accompanied by a slope model and its constituent materials, but the attached data is not right at the location where the slide occurred and must be re-validated through several approaches to obtain the embankment stratigraphy and material property values that coincide at the location of the landslide. Based on field validation, it shows changes in material properties and stratigraphy on the slopes with FK = 1.376 and the results of back analysis data show FK = 0.835 with changes in material properties that can affect the safety factor of the slope. The results of the evaluation data are based on entering the parameters from the results of back analysis and incisions after the landslide, so FK = 1,000

Abstract

Watu Lempeng merupakan tempat wisata yang berada di Sungai Serang yang menghubungkan Desa Banyuroto dan Desa Sendangsari. Belum ada penelitian yang mengkaji detail mengenai kondisi umur dan lingkungan pengendapan di daerah ini sehingga perlu adanya kajian geologi terutama stratigrafi. Bebatuan di lokasi ini cukup menarik karena terlihat seperti lempeng pipih yang tersusun unik di sepanjang aliran Sungai Serang. Secara administratif, daerah penelitian berada pada Daerah Banyuroto, Kecamatan Nanggulan, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Secara geografis, terletak berada pada 110°9’59.3”E dan 7°49’24.152”S. Daerah penelitian termasuk ke dalam fisiografi Pegunungan Kulon Progo sebelah timur, tepatnya pada Formasi Sentolo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi umur dan lingkungan. Metode penelitian meliputi pengambilan data litologi menggunakan metode stratigrafi terukur (MS) untuk menentukan fasies. Pengambilan conto batuan diambil secara terpilih untuk analisis petrografi dan paleontologi. Kajian mikroskopis batuan secara petrografi akan menginterpretasi fasies batuan yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penentuan lingkungan penegndapan. Analisis paleontologi dilakukan untuk analisis umur dan lingkungan pengendapan Berdasarkan data lapangan, lintasan sepanjang 46 meter disusun oleh satuan batugamping Grainstone, Packstone dan Wackstone yang menunjukan fasies Foreslope. Pengendapan batuan tersebut berada pada kisaran umur N13-N14 (Miosen Tengah) dan diendapkan pada bathymetri Neritik Tengah – Neritik Luar (100 – 200 meter). Abstract

Nikelindo Jaya Nusantara is a contractor company that carries out mining operations in the IUP area of PT. Prima Dharma Karsa, which is engaged in mining Laterite Nickel ore located in Siuna Village, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. Nickel laterite is one of the mineral deposits resulting from the chemical weathering process of ultramafic rocks which results in residual and secondary enrichment of Ni, Fe elements. In lateritic nickel ore (ore) mining activities, changes in the elemental content of nickel ore often occur. While still in the mining front and after being transferred to the barge, it is possible that the changes in grades that occur experience quite significant differences. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison between the two analytical tools to analyze the value of Nickel content in the Mining Front and on the Barge, then to find out how many changes in grades occur in lateritic nickel minerals from the mining front after being transferred to the Barge and find out the factors that cause changes. that rate. Grade data on nickel laterite minerals from the mining front using the Olympus tool is 2.11% and x-ray is 2.19% with a dilution of 3.79% and a difference in content of 0.08%. The Fe content from the mining front using Olympus is 31.50% and using X-Ray is 30.70% so that the dilution content is 2.54%. Furthermore, the minerals from the Barge using the Olympus tool are 1.99% and Xray are 2.04% with a dilution content of 2.51%. The Fe content from the Barge using Olympus was 26.85% and using X-Ray was 28.48% so that the dilution content was 6.07%. Changes in these levels occur due to factors due to accuracy problems in sampling, sample preparation that ignores procedures, and also human errors such as errors in sampling code, changing samples when delivered to preparation. So if you refer to these data, the tool must recalibrate even though the difference in dilution levels produced is quite low, but it is better if it is recalibrated in a shorter period of time, so that the difference in dilution levels is not too great, which causes less the accuracy of the grades displayed from the two tools even though they still meet the specifications for the grade of nickel minerals according to the company's target.

Abstract

Baja paduan Fe-Mn-Al-C merupakan paduan baru kandidat baja tahan karat austenitik, dimana unsur Al dan Mn menggantikan unsur Cr dan Ni. Setelah dilakukan pengecoran baja paduan Fe-14,8Mn-11,9Al-0,7C ternyata memiliki kekerasan hingga 42 HRC dan susah untuk di machining. Penelitian ini secara spesifik bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi lebih lanjut pengaruh proses spheroidizing annealing pada baja paduan Fe-14,8Mn-11,9Al-0,7C dengan memvariasikan waktu anil untuk meningkatkan kekuatan tarik, stabilitas struktur mikro, dan menurunkan nilai kekerasan. Lembaran ingot dibentuk menjadi beberapa spesimen kemudian dianil pada suhu 1100℃ dengan variasi waktu 45, 60, dan 90 menit. Spesimen dilakukan uji komposisi kimia, analisis struktur mikro, dan sifat mekanik. Pada struktur mikro raw material didapatkan fasa ferit dan austenite, berdasarkan hasil foto struktur mikro pada variasi waktu tidak ditemukan fasa baru dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan, terlihat struktur ferit menjadi lebih besar/semakin memanjang dan struktur austenite yang mengecil. Hasil pengujian kekerasan menggunakan metode Vickers tertinggi di raw material sebesar 463,6 kg/mm² setelah dilakukan proses anil nilai kekerasan menurun namun tidak signifikan, dikarenakan setelah peroses anil diperoleh struktur ferit yang terlihat lebih besar. Hasil pengujian kekuatan Tarik dari raw material sebesar 343,58 MPa dan didapat tegangan tertinggi di variasi waktu 45 menit sebesar 422,18 Mpa, atau meninggakat sebesar 22,8%.

Abstract

Alterasi hidrotermal merupakan proses perubahan mineral primer pada batuan akibat interkasi dengan fluida hidrotermal. Daerah Karangbolong merupakan zona pegunungan api purba sehingga memungkinkan terbentuknya proses alterasi hidrotermal dan potensi terbentuknya mineral-mineral ekonomis yang menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kondisi geologi yang mendukung proses alterasi hidrotermal dan potensi mineralisasi pada daerah Karangbolong. Mineral alterasi hidrotermal akan membentuk zona-zona alterasi tertentu dan dapat menunjukan kondisi dari lingkungan pembentukannya. Pemetaan zona alterasi hidotermal bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi mineralisasi dan tipe endapan yang terbentuk. Metode yang digunakan berupa pemetaan dengan skala 1:5000 dengan pendekatan petrologi dan petrografi. Zona filik, argilik, dan propilitik ditemukan pada daerah penelitian dan mengindikasikan potensi mineralisasi pada daerah Karangbolong.

Abstract

The research area is included in the Physiography of the Kulon Progo Mountains to the south, in Kali Serang, Kec. Nanggulan, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the pattern of ancient climate change in the middle Sentolo formation, which is used to correlate the ancient climate in the upper Sentolo formation to previous researchers. The results of the field data obtained at the study site were two facies, packstone and grainstone, which are included in the bioclastic limestone unit with a thickness of 30m. Identifying microfossils with samples (top, middle, bottom) obtained several species of benthonic foraminifera fossils totaling 89 and 79 planktonic foraminifera. The results of calculating the relative ages of the Sentolo formation in this study ranged from N13-N14 (middle Miocene). Based on the calculation of the p/b ratio for determining the depositional environment is in the middle neritik - outer neritik. In calculating the percentage of fossils that characterize warm temperatures (Globigerinoides spp., Orbuliniforms, Globorotalia menardi, Globorotalia praemenadri, Globigerina venezuelana, Globoquadrina dehiscens, Globoquadrina praedehiscens, Globigerinella obesa, Globorotalia siakensis) and cold (Catapsydrax, globigerina woodi, Globorotalia scitula, Globigerrina sp p.s., Globorotaloides). Entering the outer neritic depositional environment, the climate gradually cools down, marked by an increasing number of fossils characteristic of cold temperatures. Determination of changes in ancient climate patterns at the research blood location using an analysis of the abundance of planktonic foraminifera that characterizes warm and cold temperatures in the study area has one pattern of temperature change, namely the cooling phase. The cooling phase begins at N13 - N14, and the temperature gets colder with deeper ocean depths occurring in the study area in the middle-outer neritic depositional environment. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the geological conditions of the research area and the geological potential it contains. The limit equilibrium analysis of PT Kerinci Merangin Hidro indicates that the slope is in a safe condition, with safety factors obtained from the GLE/Morgenstern method at 1.8, from the Spencer method at 1.9, and from the Bishop Simplified method at 1.9. The installation of rock bolts with a spacing of 3.5 meters between each bolt has reached the standard point, considering the lithological conditions. However, the rock bolt installation has not penetrated the sliding surface. The safety factor without rock bolts obtained from the finite element analysis is 1.3. Although the factor of safety has reached a safe point, the addition of reinforcement needs to be considered by analyzing the sliding surface using the finite element method, taking into account the largest total displacement. Based on the interpretation results with an average depth of approximately 10-11 meters from the slope surface, a rock bolt length of about 13-14 meters is required. Abstract

Lake Poso is one of the third deepest lakes in Indonesia and is located in Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, and is one of the national priority lakes with all its characteristics and problems. The process of forming Lake Poso is part of the formation of Sulawesi Island. Has the characteristics of an ancient lake between 1-30 million years old. The result of this long geological process produces a variety of complex geological conditions that make the research location attractive from a scientific and tourism point of view. The research aims to examine the potential of geotourism in Lake Poso and its surroundings in Central Sulawesi Province. Geotourism involves exploring the geological and geomorphological features of an area, which can offer visitors a unique recreational and educational experience. By utilizing spatial analysis techniques, this study aims to identify and map the main geosites and geological features that have the potential for geotourism development. The analysis draws on multiple sources of spatial data, including topographic maps, satellite imagery and geological information. Geographic Information System (GIS) software is used to process and visualize this data set. Through the integration of geological, topographical and environmental data, important geosites such as mountains, caves, waterfalls and other typical landforms can be determined. The results of this research can become the basis for geotourism planning and sustainable development in the region. This research contributes to a broader understanding of the potential of geotourism to drive economic growth while promoting the conservation of natural and cultural heritage

Abstract

Kejadian gempa dahsyat di Yogyakarta pernah terjadi pada tahun 2006 dengan pusat gempa yang berpusat di Sesar Opak. Beberapa kejadian gempa juga sempat terjadi di tahun 2016 dan berpusat gempa di tengah perkotaan Yogyakarta. Penyebab terjadi gempa masih diintepretasikan sebagai pergerakan sesar yang diduga memiliki arah yang berbeda dari Sesar Opak. Penelitian mengenai Sesar dengan arah berbeda dari Sesar Opak tersebut masih minim dan perlu dikaji. Daerah penelitian meliputi area di sekitar Perbukitan Boko, tepatnya di Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji data struktur geologi permukaan yang disinyalir memiliki arah pergerakan sesar yang berarah barat – timur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sesar berarah barat – timur dan hubungannya terhadap keberadaan Sesar Mataram. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan pemetaan semi detail dan tracing terhadap data struktur geologi berupa kekar (shear fracture dan gash fracture). Data geologi permukaan yang menunjukkan keberadaan sesar ditunjukkan adanya step fault. Hasil kajian mendapatkan pergerakan sesar utama berarah barat – timur dengan proyeksi stereonet melalui software Dips memiliki arah N 270o E/ 54o. Arah gaya tegasan memiliki arah utara – selatan berkisar 11o, N 14 o E Sesar berarah barat – timur ini terkait dengan keberadaan Sesar Mataram yang memiliki arah barat – timur dan memotong Sesar Opak di daerah Bokoharjo. Perpotongan Sesar Mataram dan Sesar Opak menghasilkan adanya pembelokkan sungai Opak dan munculnya mata air (Umbul Sidomulyo) yang berada di sekitar kelokan Sungai Opak. Abstract

Tuana Tuha Village in Kenohan District is one of the villages in flat topography area and near the ocean with the average population working as fishermen and farmers. To meet drinking water needs, residents buy bottled water regularly. Based on the fact that the need for water will always increase by the time, this community service activity was carried out to help provide drinking water for the residents of Tuana Tuha Village through the provision of clean water. This activity was carried out in several stages, including the preparation, design and implementation, and socialization. The results of this community service activity include identifying the community's main needs for access to clean water in Kenohan District and comprehensive technical planning. The socialization has succeeded in increasing community awareness and participation in the implementation of clean water distribution with inclusive access for residents.
