Mestaka: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat diterbitkan pada tahun 2022 oleh CV. Pakis Journal. Jurnal ini menerbitkan artikel-artikel yang memuat hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen, mahasiswa, kalangan akademis lainnya, maupun pihak umum. Tujuan jurnal ini adalah sebagai media untuk menyebarluaskan ide pemikiran konseptual maupun gagasan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari semua disiplin keilmuan. Terbit sebanyak 6 kali pada bulan Februari, April, Juni, Agustus, Oktober, dan Desember setiap tahunnya.

At the time of learning it is very appropriate to use a media game, because the media can be a driving factor for students. Sebumbun spinning is one of the media that can improve aspects of development in children, with this media it will increase the enthusiasm and motivation to learn in children. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge and innovation to Al-Firdaus Palangka Raya Kindergarten teachers. The results of community service run smoothly where children are able to follow the rules of the game that have been determined before the game is carried out, and the enthusiasm of children when practicing games on Spinning Sebumbun media is very good, the hope is that learning with Spinning Sebumbun game media can be applied to schools other schools when learning takes place.]]>

<![CDATA[Chronic Energy Deficiency is a condition of a person's nutritional status which is caused because the source of intake they receive does not meet their daily and sustainable needs. The nutritional needs of pregnant women have increased and if this is not met in the short and long term it can result in chronic energy deficiency. The aim of this research is to determine the mother's level of knowledge in detecting CED. Based on the results of the Chi Square test, it was found that the value of p = 0.000 < α (0.05) for the variables of pregnancy distance and income showed that there was a significant relationship that influenced the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women, while the variables of parity, education and employment showed that there was none. significant relationship that influences the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women. The results of the activity showed that the activity to increase knowledge of pregnant women in detecting chronic energy deficiency (KEK) through risk factors in the Saigon City Health Center area, Pontianak City, ran smoothly. There was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women between before and after being given counseling by 20 points.]]>

<![CDATA[The impact of the development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the world of work globally triggers the demand for Human Resources (HR) who have technological expertise. Technology integration in the education sector through learning media can be done as an effort to prepare graduates who can answer these challenges. Graphic User Interface (GUI) based learning media can be a way to introduce and increase digital literacy while increasing student interest in learning. The service activity is in the form of digital training related to the topic of unit quantity measurement in the form of a simple GUI-Python-based conversion application. This activity is expected to provide new insights related to programming and digital platforms and train students' computational thinking skills. The implementation of the service involved students of SMK Puspa Bangsa Banyuwangi as participants. The presentation method includes the delivery of introductory material and practice designing applications. The results of the service showed that around 80% of the participants were able to display, run and modify the conversion application.]]>

<![CDATA[Kerik Village has one of the leading products, namely bags. The results of observations show that many people in Kerik Village still need side jobs to improve family welfare. So far, the making of bag products is still constrained by several factors, especially related to product design, production, and marketing. The purpose of this community service program training is to improve the skills of the Kerik Village community in making Shibori batik bags. This training was conducted from April to May 2024. The targets of this program were 20 PKK women of Kerik Village. The approach taken from this program is the method of discussion, hands-on practice and evaluation. The community service program in Kerik Village ran conducively and smoothly and produced products in the form of Shibori batik bags. The training participants were able to make Shibori batik bags well. The level of understanding was very good at 15%, good at 75%, quite good at 0% and less good at 0%. In general, the training results showed that the participants understood how to make Shibori batik bags. This training on making Shibori batik bags can support PKK in adding insight, skills, creativity and income in the development of creative industries.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia's economic growth is significantly assisted by micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). However, many UMKM in the Tirtoyudo sub-district area are not aware of the importance of product certification. To make business owners aware of the importance of product certification, extensive socialization is needed. As a country with a majority Muslim population, halal certification has a significant impact on consumer interest in a product. This is the motivation behind our devotional research, which aims to educate consumers on the importance of halal certification for food or cosmetics. In addition, so that business owners are aware and understand that managing halal certification is simple and only requires KUA to achieve sub-district level management. The product must be able to compete in the market and broaden its reach in order to generate more revenue.]]>

<![CDATA[One the campus placement schools teaching class VII 2024 is UPT SD Negeri 182 Pinrang, located at jln.H. Kanebo No.1 Ujung Lero, Suppa sub-district, Pinrang district, South Sulawesi. Lero village is in the coastal area and is known as a maritime community whose source of income or livelihood is the majority of the population as fisherman and their income comes from the sea. As om of the school located at the tip of lero, the aim of this service is to increase students marine literacy who are expected to be able to understand and evaluate every from of activity or activity in the fisheries sektor by teaching basic concepts through curricular activities, namely local fisheries content. The learning media used are learning videos and the implementation of pre-test and post-tests to determine the level of students understanding of the learning outcomes. Based on the results of the pre-test and post- test, about fisheries mulok has increased their knowledge and understanding of marine literacy.]]>

<![CDATA[Karanganyar Regency is one of the districts that has potential in the agricultural sector. One of agricultural commodities in Karanganyar Regency is tea. The tea plantation products in Karanganyar Regency are processed by MSMEs in the Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar area. Tea produced by MSMEs Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar is marketed in the domestic market. Partners in the Community Service activity are MSMEs in Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar. The problem faced by partners have regarding export opportunities for tea they produce. The aim of implementing Community Service is to provide education regarding export opportunities for tea produced by MSMEs Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar to Uzbekistan and increase the quality value and competitiveness of tea produced through proper post harvest management. The methods used in Community Service are counseling, demonstration and evaluation. The results of the Community Service activities are that participants are enthusiastic about taking part in Community Service activities, and the activities can increase participant’s understanding and insight regarding tea export opportunities to Uzbekistan, as well as understanding the importance of post harvest management of tea to increase the quality value and competitiveness of tea products.]]>

<![CDATA[The social context of contributions can be in the form of donations, gifts, or actions carried out by individuals or institutions to improve the welfare of society. Contribution is seen as a concrete form carried out by individuals or institutions which then has a positive or negative impact on society. The elderly are an age group that has entered the final stages of its life phase, which according to WHO has an age range of 60 years and over. Posyandu for the Elderly also functions as a forum for communication, technology transfer and the provision of health services. The purpose of this activity is to find out the activities carried out at the Lansi Posyandu in Sumber Harapan village. The flow of activities carried out when the elderly posyandu is implemented is first distributing serial numbers randomly and then filling in attendance according to the serial number obtained by each elderly person. After that, call the elderly according to their serial number and ask for their KTP to support filling in their data. First of all, the elderly will have their blood pressure checked, weighed, checked and followed by providing an understanding of their medical history and medication. The activities of the Posyandu for the Elderly in Harapan Village have contributed significantly to improving the health and quality of life of the elderly. This activity involves various health services, including routine health checks, distribution of medicines, as well as increasing knowledge about healthy lifestyles and body care.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes mellitus is an increasing global health issue, with type 2 diabetes being the most common. Conventional treatments are often costly and have side effects, necessitating affordable and safer alternatives. Avocado leaves (Persea americana), rich in bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, have shown potential as a natural antidiabetic remedy. A community empowerment program was conducted in Dusun Selorejo, Karanganyar Regency, involving 50 participants trained to process avocado leaves into herbal tea. The program included educational sessions and practical workshops, followed by evaluations through observations and questionnaires to assess improvements in knowledge and skills. The program successfully increased community engagement and knowledge about the health benefits of avocado leaf tea. Participants showed significant improvements in understanding and skills related to tea preparation, indicating the program's effectiveness in promoting natural and affordable diabetes treatment alternatives.]]>

<![CDATA[Preschool and school age children are a high risk group for helminthiasis. Apart from that, school children are also a group that is vulnerable to inadequate nutrition and complaints of infection if helminth occur. Health problems and malnutrition in school-aged children will continue until adolescence. Danukusuman is an area in Surakarta that is densely populated and the residential conditions are vulnerable to rubbish, rivers and markets. In papaya fruit there is a karpain compound which has anti-microbial properties and is able to neutralize toxins. For the purpose of treating helminth such as roundworms, karpain works by coagulating albumin, thereby making the worms become weak, die and leave the sufferer's body. The objectives of this community service include; providing information about the types and dangers of helminthiasis in children, respondents can process papaya seeds into snacks, and additional nutrition as well as preventing helminthiasis in children, including reducing unhealthy snacks. Method This service activity is carried out using presentations at the counseling stage and demonstrations of making samples of processed papaya seed products as a solution to overcome health problems while improving skills for cadres and the community. As a result of this activity, 67 people succeeded in participating from the initial target of 50 people. The community was enthusiastic about the emergence of 9 questions, the knowledge test after the service received an average score of 84 (very good) and succeeded in trying to process papaya seeds into additional food products and anthelmintics.]]>
