Jurnal Pariwisata Budaya: Jurnal Ilmiah Pariwisata Agama dan Budaya adalah jurnal ilmiah yang mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah tentang objek materi pariwisata pada ranah agama dan budaya. Objek materi ini muncul menjadi kecenderungan-kecenderungan pariwisata agama, yang dalam intern umat Hindu disebut dengan Tirtayatra. Pariwisata agama ini pada era modern meluas dengan diikuti umat-umat non-agama, yang kemudian disebut dengan sekular pilgrimage, atau perjalanan suci sekuler. Tujuan pariwisata agama ini adalah tempat-tempat suci agama, yang terdiri dari situs alam, budaya dan buatan manusia. Karena itu, pengelolaan situs-situs tersebut juga menjadi bahasan-bahasan pada artikel pada jurnal ini. Dengan demikian, jurnal ilmiah ini memuat artikel-artikel yang berhubungan dengan pariwisata agama, pariwisata budaya, dan pengaruh-pengaruh pariwisata terhadap agama dan budaya. Jurnal ilmiah ini terbit pertama kali pada Maret 2016, yang pada awalnya dengan ISSN cetak 2527-9734 Pada tahun 2017, jurnal ini telah memiliki ISSN online 2614-5340. Sampai tahun ini, jurnal ini terbit dalam dua versi yaitu versi cetak dan online. Pada 12 Nopember 2019 telah terakreditasi Sinta 5 sesuai keputusan Dirjen Penguatan Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Nomor 30/E/KPT/2019.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the factors affecting the students’ English learning motivation in culture tourism department State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. It also aimed to find out which motivation contributes more on students’ English achievement. The research used qualitative method by providing questionnaire consisting of 20 statements. The questionnaire used Likert Scale. The sample was saturated sampling. The data acquired then was calculated by using statistical procedure and elaborated in descriptive way. The result proved the extrinsic motivation had more significant contribution towards students’ English learning motivation. The findings also revealed that extrinsic motivation in which quality of the teacher and teaching learning used and the module was the prominent factors that can sustain the students’ motivation in the class. Thus, the quality of the teacher and module must be the priority to maintain students’ motivation in the classroom

Abstract

Alternative tourism is a solution in overcoming various problems arising from the development of mass tourism. The pattern of tourists' motivation has now begun to shift from mass tourism (mass tourism) to alternative tourism ( alternative tourism ). One of these alternative tours is a stigmatizing culture, art, and cultural creation that combines martial arts, dance, drama, gamelan, and harmonization between flora and fauna in Pondok Mepantigan Batubulan Village, Sukawati Subdistrict, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The purpose of this study is to answer the question: (1) How the strategy of sustainable alternative tourism development in Batubulan Village, Sukawati Subdistrict, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province; and (2) Who and what role do the parties play in building a strategy to develop alternative sustainable tourism. This study is a descriptive qualitative study with data collection methods in interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the development of sustainable alternative tourism requires four parties who play an essential role: First, the role of the community, Second, the role of the village government; the role of the private sector; and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). In addition, the pillars of sustainable alternative tourism development include Sustainable tourism destination management, Economic utilization for local communities, Cultural preservation for communities and visitors, Environmental conservation. Abstract

Storynomics tourism is one of the strategies in promoting tourism, especially rural tourism. The cultural heritage in Munggu Tourism Village has historical stories and cultural values that are still believed by the local community, so the concept of storynomics tourism can be developed in promoting digital-based rural tourism by still maintaining local wisdom in the form of verbal traditions. The storynomics concept of Munggu Tourism Village is a form of promotion of digital storytelling-based rural tourism with the concept of storytelling in a creative content in which there is a concise description of verbal traditions in two language versions, that are bahasa Indonesia and English. This study analyzed the storynomics tourism which is directed as a new way to promote the uniqueness of tourist attractions in Munggu Tourism Village by telling verbal traditions including the history and cultural values of the local wisdom contained therein. The relevant research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The theory used in this research is storynomics tourism. This study concludes that Munggu Tourism Village has natural and cultural tourist attractions that keep the history and verbal traditions that have been believed by the local community for generations. Natural and cultural tourist attractions in the Munggu Tourism Village which are narrated for the promotion needs of the Munggu Tourism Village are The Tradition of Mekotek, The Traditional Swing, Munggu Beach, and Pancoran Pule, as well as the creative economy, namely Balinese traditional foods and paintings.

Abstract

Restrictions on tourist mobility during the Covid-19 Pandemic led to a change in vacation trends, from Vacation to Staycation. The local community out of 255 respondents living in Badung Regency is familiar witho the word Staycation. 62.2% have done a staycation on both "one day trip" and "overnight" while 37.8% have never, but have the desire to do so in the near future. 56.4% are women and 30.2% age range 26- 30 years and 28.4% age range 40 - 50 years which is classified as productive age in work. 61.3% are private employees and 20.9% are entrepreneurs with an income range of Rp. 2,000,000 to Rp. 5,000,000 /month with a preference for staying in accommodation that has a swimming pool, a destination with a plantation atmosphere. The method of distributing an online survey is random aims to get characteristics and is supported by the results of interviews of each age. The data is further analyzed by bivariate methods to look at the relationship between characteristics and people's staycation desires which resulted in that age and income have a close relationship in deciding staycation wishes. The concept of staycation as alternative tourism has a positive impact on improving the economy of the local community through room occupancy rates in accommodation services as well as the level of visits to tourist destinations

Abstract

This article is about the optimalization of the development of “Setra Ari-Ari” As A Cultural Tourism Attraction in Bayung Gede Villages, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. This article is aimed to find an effort that needs to be made to optimize the development of the Setra Ari-Ari cultural tourism attraction so that it can provide benefits to local communities without reducing the existing sacred and preservation values. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentations. The sampling techniques used were purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative analysis to give an overview optimalization of the development of “Setra Ari-Ari” As A Cultural Tourism Attraction in Bayung Gede Villages, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. The finding shows that Setra Ari-Ari has a unique culture that only Bayung Gede Village has, because of the tradition of hanging the placentas of newborns which are placed in coconut shells and hung on the Bukak tree (Cerbera manghas). There are efforts to develop the Bayung Gede Tourism Village including the Setra Ari-Ari. However, this effort is still not optimal in developing Setra Ari-Ari as a tourist attraction. The efforts that need to be made so that the development of the potential of Setra Ari-Ari can be more optimal, namely increasing tourism activities to make it more attractive, optimizing the use of tourism facilities and adding other facilities, increasing promotions and cooperation with other parties, improving the quality of human resources, and maintaining cleanliness. in the surrounding environment

Abstract

Bambang Beach is one of the water tourism located in Lumajang Regency. This beach is located about 24 km from the center of Lumajang City. Bambang Beach is included in the South Beach which has big waves and winds. Bambang Beach is no longer visited by tourists because the beach conditions are not clean and the waves are high. In addition, the access road to the beach is very quiet and minimally lit at night. The purpose of this article is to find out the potential for wind at Bambang Beach, Lumajang Regency as a Wind Power Plant (PLTA) as an alternative for street lighting and also to re-evaluate the benefits of Bambang Beach for the surrounding community. The research method used in this article is a literature study, by utilizing the facts or wind data in Indonesia and in Lumajang Regency. Several studies from the journal literature explain that wind can be used as an effective source of electrical energy. However, the data and facts that occurred at Bambang Beach are not very suitable to be used as a Wind Power Plant. Thus, the solution that can be used so that Bambang Beach can benefit the surrounding community is to clean and maintain the beach environment so that it is crowded with tourists, so that it can increase the income of the local community. With the return of the bustle of tourists, it can be used as income and the funds obtained can be used to make lighting along the road to Bambang Beach

Abstract

Sidoarjo Regency is an area that is growing rapidly in the field of development. The construction of the Kalisti Long Storage Reservoir is one of the strategies of the Sidoarjo district government to accommodate water which will then be used as raw material for PDAM. The Kalimati Long Storage Reservoir has an area of ​​about five square kilometers which can accommodate about 1.5 million cubic meters of water. It is located in two places, namely Sidoarjo Regency and Mojokerto Regency. Construction of a reservoir located in Tarik Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of suitability of the Kalimati Long Storage as a means of storing raw water and a local tourist destination in the Tarik sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency. This study uses location survey research in Tarik Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency and also literature studies with data collection techniques by collecting several previous studies whose topics are related to the theme of this article to answer the suitability of the Kalimati Long Storage as a storage place for raw water and a local tourist destination. . Previous research that has been collected is then compiled, analyzed, and concluded. Thus, getting a conclusion regarding the suitability of the use of the Kaliati Long Storage. The conclusion in this study can be drawn that from the results of the analysis of the suitability of the Long Storage Kalimati as storage of raw water if it is calculated that it can accommodate an average water discharge of 1,500 liters per second so that the need for water supply for local residents can be met. Not only can it meet the needs of raw water, the Kalimati Long Storage has the potential and is suitable to become a local tourist destination whose landscape is arranged in an attractive manner. The suitability of sports locations such as jogging tracks has a very suitable category coupled with a view of the mountain range.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the potential for special interest tourism in the waterfall area of ​​Gobleg Village, Buleleng, Bali to be developed as an alternative "ecosport" tourism. This study is a qualitative study whose data was collected by direct observation at the research site, then conducted interviews with the manager of the waterfall area and reviewed literature. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using a SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats) analysis to find out that this ecosport special interest tourism potential is feasible to be developed in the waterfall tourism area in Gobleg Village. The results of the analysis show that the waterfall area in Gobleg Village has potential that can be developed more deeply, so that it can provide more benefits for managers and the economy of the community in the Gobleg Village waterfall tourist area. In addition, ecosport tourism is an alternative choice of tourist attractions and activities that can be offered to tourists, so that it will increase the selling value and interest of tourists in visiting and exploring this waterfall tourist area. This article is also expected to be able to provide a new contribution to the development of destinations that have potential that can be explored and developed further with a combination of activities packaged in one tourist activity.

Abstract

Biaung Village has some potential to develop into a cultural tourism attraction. This article aims to examine the existence of cultural heritage in this village to be developed into educational tourism. The data was collected by observation, literature study, and in-depth interviews with local community leaders and then analyzed by descriptive qualitatively. The results showed that the cultural heritage of Biaung Village is feasible to be developed into educational tourism for tourists, especially the younger generation. Hence, the younger generation has a strong understanding of cultural preservation in the future. It can be seen in the offer of educational tour packages (relics of ancient cultural sites, Batur Sari Murti Temple, tradition of making "kise", painting activities, and traditional culinary). Tourists who visit this tourist village are not just to learn about the local culture's uniqueness but also to be directly involved in tourism activities. It is recommended that the local community be more serious about developing the cultural heritage so that future generations can enjoy it. The government is expected to be more intense in fostering this cultural tourism attraction to be sustainable

Abstract

Kampung Kelembak Tourism Object is a tourist attraction located in Nongsa, Batam, Riau Islands. However, this tourist attraction requires more optimal development for the future in terms of its facilities to support the comfort of tourists visiting the tourist attraction. Therefore, an in-depth analysis and research is needed to find out the needs of the Kampung kelembak tourism object in terms of supporting facilities and planning and concepts that can be applied in the future. The method used in this research is qualitative in descriptive form. The informants used in this study were tourists who had traveled to the Kampung Kelembak Tourism object. The results of the study found that this kampung kelembak tourist taxi was in need of future development in terms of empowering the community, namely involving the community in every management decision, providing space for the community to meet the needs of tourists during the trip such as eating and drinking, activities at tourist objects. in the promotion section, tourism objects can invite tours and travel to make tour packages and also schools or campuses to do learning in Kampung kelembak. In the tourist attraction facilities section, directions are given to get to the interesting places provided.
