Abstract

Breastmilk is the first natural food which is the main source of nutrition for babies which contains all the energy and nutrients that babies need in the first months of life. The success of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by various factors, such as mother's education, commitment to breastfeeding, social support, mother's age, mother's knowledge, place of delivery and culture. Various studies have shown that mother's knowledge regarding breastfeeding management and efforts to increase milk production is in the range of insufficient and sufficient. Therefore, this community service activity was aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of parents and families regarding the management of breast milk and efforts to increase milk production. The method implemented was counseling and demonstration regarding the management of expressed breast milk, breastfeeding techniques and oxytocin massage. Abstract

The highest contribution of rising cooking oil prices to inflation occurred in November and December 2021, namely 0.08 percent each. The consumer price index for the food sub-group, which contained cooking oil commodities, was recorded to have increased from 107.10 in September 2021 to 112.34 in March 2022 (Setiawan, 2022). This encourages consumers, namely housewives and MSMEs, to switch to using used cooking oil or using oil repeatedly. Cooking oil that is used repeatedly can cause health problems and the waste can pollute the environment. Mothers have a very important role in the household, especially managing the consumption of people at home to maintain family health. In terms of preparing food for family members, mothers need to have high knowledge about food ingredients consumed and used in cooking. One form of our concern for health academics in improving health standards is through community service programs that we carry out through outreach activities about the dangers of used oil (used cooking oil). This activity began with participant registration, where participants who came were 23 participants consisting of TP-PKK members of Sumbawa Regency. The result of this activity is increased knowledge and attitude of using used cooking oil repeatedly at the household level

Abstract

Based on observations at Josari 01 Elementary School in Tersono District, children's creativity in drawing is still low, because so far, whenever there is a drawing learning activity, children are reluctant to be invited to do activities related to children's fine motor skills. But prefer to choose to play with gadgets and friends than doing activities that are done individually. Therefore this community service aims to improve the creative ability to draw elementary school children in Tersono District, Batang Regency and its surroundings which we focus on children's drawing creativity. The method used is through workshops and drawing assistance for elementary school students in Tersono District, Batang Regency and its surroundings. This community service activity is divided into three sessions, namely the first session provides knowledge about the history of drawing including understanding, history, and types of drawings. The second session was a drawing competition session carried out by all participants. Furthermore, the last session was an assessment session to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The community service program that had been carried out by the STKIP Muhammadiyah Batang Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program had been carried out well and received positive impressions from all participants who took part.
