Abstract

Some of the partner problems that are the focus of PKM activities are among others; The existence of limitations in reading and writing Latin letters in this case IRT is illiterate. The second problem is the lack of knowledge of Reading the text of the Qur'an. The existence of this problem, the solution offered in this PKM activity is: increasing the knowledge of literacy of Latin letters of Housewives in Barru Regency. increase knowledge about reading the text of the Quranic scriptures, increase the ability to think in IRT in Barru Regency, increase knowledge in science and technology and art at IRT in Barru Regency, increase knowledge of religion at IRT in Siawung Village, Barru Regency, Increase knowledge about the importance of innovation in IRT in Barru Regency. The solution that occurs can be eliminated through IRT training and assistance activities in Barru Regency through activities to increase knowledge of Latin letter literacy and Quranic literacy, the focus of this activity is focused on Siawung Village, Barru Regency, Barru District, Barru Regency. The method used is the participatory method. This method is implemented by involving all members of partner groups, village governments, and the relevant local governments and several community leaders. It is hoped that they will be able to read and write the Quran, so that the IRT in Barru Regency can understand the reading of the Quran. The results of this PKM show that the increase in knowledge of reading Latin letters and the Quran in IRT in Barru Regency through PKM activities has given understanding to IRT in Barru Regency. IRT has been able to recognize letters, recognize syllables, recognize words, and recognize sentences. IRT has been able to write identities, so pkm activities carried out in Barru Regency have succeeded in increasing knowledge of literacy of Latin letters and the Quran.

Abstract

Toleransi beragama perlu ditanamkan dalam sanubari Bangsa Indoneisa pada umumnya dan pada masyarakat didesa Balun, Turi, Lamongan. Jawa Timur. Peneliti sangat tertarik dengan istilah desa Pancasila disini karena memang masyarakatnya sangat damai dalam bertoleransii dalam pergaulan antar umat beragama bermula dari penghayatan ajaran agama masing-masing. Demi memelihara kerukunan beragama sikap toleransi harus dikembangkan untuk menghindari pertengkaran. Biasanya pertengkaran masyarakat beragama disebabkan oleh perasaan dirinya atau agamanya paling benar , sedangkan orang lain dianggap tidak benar. Negara Indonesia masyarakatnya mayoritas memang beragama Islam, tetapi fakta sejarah mengakui bahwa negeri ini berdiri berdasarkan keaneka ragaman suku Bangsa, Bahasa, Agama dan Budaya sesuai dengan semboyan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Keistimewaan Toleransi disini diantaranya tempat peribadatn antara Agama Hindu Islam dan Kristen Jawa berada disatu lokasi yang sangat berdekatan.Selanjutnya keistimewaan yang lain apabila terjadi pernikahan antar pemeluk Agama maka calon mempelai diberi kesempatan untuk memilih salah satu dari Agama mereka sebnetara masyarakat bisa menerima sepenuhnya tanpa perasaan kebencian.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the relationship between parenting patterns of working mothers and the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Al-Hidayah Maibit Kindergarten, with the formulation of the problem: 1) working mothers parenting, 2) independence of children aged 5-6 years in Al-Hidayah Kindergarten. Maibit, and 3) the relationship between working mothers' parenting patterns on the independence of children aged 5-6 years. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with statistical methodology. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through the process of extracting data using documentation and questionnaire methods. The data were analyzed by using Product Moment correlation analysis technique. From the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) The parenting pattern of working mothers for their children in Al-Hidayah Maibit Kindergarten strongly trains children's independence, as evidenced by the high percentage of filling out questionnaires on statements about parenting that trains children's independence 2) Independence of children aged 5- 6 years in Al-Hidayah Kindergarten is very good, as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire which shows that on average the children are able to show their independence and 3) There is a relationship between the parenting pattern of working mothers and the independence of children aged 5-6 years in Al-Hidayah Maibit Kindergarten. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation of product moment 0.520 which is greater than (r) table both in the 1% and 5% significance level.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini didasari atas observasi penulis terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar matematika di kelas VIII-3 SMP N 3 Pantal Labu dikarenakan kurangnya ketersediaan sumber belajar dan pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika ini menginspirasi penulis untuk melakukan inovasi pembelajaran menggunakan media Google Sites sebagai sumber belajar melalui metode pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penggunaan media google sites melalui metode pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII-3 SMP N 3 Pantai Labu tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan data hasil aplikasi praktis inovasi pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization menggunakan media Google Sites terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 37,04% dengan nilai rata-rata 68,37 dan pada siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal sebesar 85,19% dengan nilai rata-rata 77,63, artinya dari 17 siswa tidak tuntas belajarnya menjadi 4 siswa tidak tuntas belajarnya terjadi kenaikan sebesar 13 siswa menjadi tuntas secara individu dengan nilai di atas KKM 75.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the example non example model in learning descriptive text writing skills for class VII students of UPT SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency. In this study using a quantitative method with the type of Pre-Experimental Design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a descriptive text writing test. The results of the research on writing descriptive text before using the example non example model reached an average value of 50.78 in the less category. Meanwhile, the results of the study of writing descriptive text after using the example non example model reached an average value of 72.5 in the good category. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there is an effect on the results of writing descriptive text with tcount 5.19. At a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) with df = 31 obtained ttable = 1.69; significant at p < 0.05. Thus H0 is rejected. With the rejection of H0 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency using the non-example model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) bagaimanakah pengaruh kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi sebelum menggunakan model CIRC, (2) bagaimanakah pengaruh kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi sesudah menggunakan pembelajaran CIRC dan, (3) bagaimanakah pengaruh kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model CIRC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Maksud dari metode eksperimen adalah penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One grup pretest-postest design, yaitu penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada satu kelompok saja yang dipilih secara random dan tidak dilakukan test kestabilan keadaan kelompok sebelum diberi perlakuan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar dalam menulis teks eksposisi sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) masih di kategori kurang/rendah, (2) kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar dalam menulis teks eksposisi sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) memiliki peningkatan, terlihat dari hasil pengolahan data dimana thitung = 4,951 ttabel 2,042, sehingga dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dan, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of students in writing exposition texts before and after using the contextual learning model in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja. The method used in this research is the experimental method, and the population in this study are all students of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja and the sample in this study is class VIII-1 students. In testing the hypothesis, the T test was used. The calculation results obtained tcount > ttable at the level of p < 0.05. Based on the data processing of the ability to write expository texts for the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test), it was obtained that tcount = -11.417. At a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) with a df of 30 obtained ttable = 2.042, significant at p <0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. With the rejection of H0, there is a significant difference in the ability to write exposition texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Hutabayuraja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the ability to write explanatory texts in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning. (2) The ability to write explanatory texts for students of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok after the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. (3) The effect of using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on the ability to write explanatory texts by class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. This research uses quantitative research. The method used is an experimental method while the method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design (non-design). According to Sugiyono (2019:112) that the results of Pre-Experimental research are independent variables. This happened, because there were no control variables, and the sample was not chosen at random, this study used a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of this study include: (1) The results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing explanatory texts for class VIII-5 students of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is obtained an average value of 60. From the results of the pre-test showed that the students' ability to write explanatory texts had not yet reached the KKM target of 70. (2) The results of the final test (post-test) skills in writing explanatory texts for students of class VIII-5 SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok after applying the Contextual model Teaching and Learning (CTL) obtained an average value of 70.38. From the post-test results obtained that the students' ability to write explanatory texts has reached the KKM target of 70. (3) The analysis that has been carried out and has been tested statistically that tcount is greater than ttable (3.38 > 2.042) causes H0 to be rejected and Ha received. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the skills of writing explanatory texts by grade VIII-5 students of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning model on learning to write short stories by class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental type using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were students of class IX-10, totaling 29 students. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used is the short story writing test technique for students' short story writing activities. The results of the research on writing short stories before using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 58.93 in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, the results of the research on writing short stories after using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 78.37 in the good category. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there are differences in the results of writing short stories with a tcount of 13.04 with a significant level of 5% = 0.05 at db = 28, a ttable of 1.701 is obtained. Thus, tcount = 13.04 < 1.701, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H? is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using the outdoor learning model on the ability to write short stories for class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Learning to write needs to be mastered by students as early as possible, especially in the text-based 2013 curriculum. One of the materials related to the exposition text is found in the syllabus of the Indonesian language subject for class VIII, in learning media is needed that is able to arouse students' enthusiasm. The problem studied in this study is how the influence of youtube media in learning to write student exposition texts. This study aims to determine the effect of youtube media in learning to write exposition texts for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. The use of youtube media is expected to make it easier for students to understand the material and be able to write exposition texts. This research is a quantitative experiment. With one group pre-test and post-test design. The researcher used random sampling technique in determining the sample so that class VIII-10 students became the sample in this study. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. The technique of collecting data in this study used an exposition text writing test. Data on students' exposition text writing activities in the study were obtained through pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the average score of students before using the youtube learning media (pre-test) is categorized with a value of 41.1 and the average value after using the youtube learning model (post-test) is categorized as good with a value of 73,06, then the results of the average value of the pre-test and post-test can be seen that there is a difference in the average value before (pre-test) and after using youtube learning media on the ability to write exposition texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test data analysis, it was obtained tcount (16,732) , then compared tcount with ttable with degrees of freedom N-1 = 29 with the number of N=30 and the significant level = 0.05, it was obtained ttablel =1, 699. So, tcount (16,732) > ttable (1, 699) which means that there is a difference in the average value before using youtube learning media and after using youtube learning media. Thus Ho is rejected. With the rejection of Ho then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant difference in the skills of writing exposition texts for class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar students using youtube learning media.
