Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of thematic learning in forming the mutual cooperation character of elementary school students. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological design. The research subjects were school principals, teachers, and students. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion or verification. The results of the research show that the application of thematic learning in forming the character of mutual cooperation through habituation, communication and exemplary activities can form the mutual cooperation character of students very well in every process of teaching and learning activities in class. Factors supporting and inhibiting the application of thematic learning in shaping the character of students' mutual cooperation include Supporting factors due to the existence of complete infrastructure, the cooperation of the teacher component, the independence and cooperation of students in each teaching and learning activity. Inhibiting factors are due to the large number of learning tools provided in learning, many students in the class, the lack of infrastructure can hinder the process of forming the character of mutual cooperation and teaching and learning activities in class.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing the Pancasila Student Profile through learning Arts and Culture at SD Negeri 2 Bukateja, Purbalingga, Central Java. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the study were principals, teachers of grade IV and students of grade IV. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Test the validity of the data in this study using credibility tests, and triangulation of both source triangulation and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of internalization uses three stages, namely the stage of value transformation, value transactions, and transinternalization of Pancasila Student Profile values through art and culture learning. This implementation is carried out as a form of efforts to prevent the impact of globalization and achieve one of the school's missions and goals, namely the realization of students who love Indonesian culture and have character in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Smart Parenting on the Formation of Children's Character. Parents can use technology and modern approaches to educate children. however, there needs to be more supervision of child caregivers, which affect the child's development. This study used a quantitative method by conducting a regression test. Data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The results of the study show that Smart Parenting has a positive influence on the formation of children's character. This is because Smart Parenting provides opportunities for children to participate in decision-making, respect children's opinions and feelings, provide support and guidance according to children's needs and interests, and use technology wisely and responsibly. The conclusion of this study is that Smart Parenting is an effective and relevant parenting style with the times to shape better children's character.

Abstract

The study was motivated by the low initial reading ability of students. The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of students' initial reading skills using letter card media. The research employed a classroom action research method with grade II B students as the subjects. The object of the study was the students' initial reading ability through the implementation of letter card learning media. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of oral tests, checklist sheets, and observation sheets. The results of the study revealed that the use of letter card media significantly improved the initial reading skills of grade II B students at SD Negeri 19 Tanjung Tengang. The completion rate of students in cycle 1 was 54.16%, and in cycle II, it increased to 87.50%. The significant percentage increase from cycle I to cycle II led to the conclusion that students' initial reading skills can be effectively enhanced through the implementation of letter card media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Canva-Based Animation Learning Media on the material form and function of animal bodies in class IV SDN Cilebut 01, and to determine the feasibility of learning process animation video products. The method used in this research is using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). In this study, validation tests were carried out on experts in the media and material fields to develop and perfect Canva-based animated video products for students. The results of the data from the validation of media experts were 98.2%, which means it was very feasible to implement and the results from material experts were 84% which were stated to be very feasible to implement. And based on a limited trial conducted on class IV students as many as 25 students obtained a proper score of 87.44%, which means that Canva-based animation video products are suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Stunting education is crucial for children to grasp the perils of stunting and uphold their health and well-being. Educating children about this matter is challenging, given their susceptibility to boredom and difficulty in comprehending complex concepts. Innovative approaches are essential to captivate their attention and facilitate comprehension. In Mompang Jae Village, Mandailing Natal Regency, stunting education was conducted for a cohort of children using persuasive posters and videos. The study involved 30 child participants, employing a persuasive educational method. The percentage of respondents with limited knowledge plummeted from 67% to 33%, while those with a strong grasp of the topic surged from 17% to 67%. Effective knowledge enhancement can be achieved through diverse methods, including education. Incorporating visually appealing educational aids, such as persuasive posters, aids information absorption due to their visually intuitive nature. These posters are prominently displayed at the local healthcare center (posyandu), designed to engage children's attention and reinforce the significance of combating stunting. Abstract

Learning resources are basically teaching materials used in the learning and learning process that aims to facilitate the objectives and learning process takes place. Interactive multimedia is a learning material that utilizes technological advances and is used to channel learning messages in the form of knowledge, skills and attitudes that can stimulate mindset, attention, The willingness and feelings of students in the learning process so that intentionally the learning process can occur, be controlled, and purposeful and can affect learning outcomes. Research steps that can be used in multimedia development are using the multimedia development model by Lee & Owen where there are 5 steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. These steps can later conclude that the developed media is not worth using.

Abstract

Salaf Islamic boarding school education is a significant and intriguing institution in Islamic education. These traditional Islamic educational centers have deep historical roots in Indonesia, pre-dating the spread of public schools and madrassas into rural areas. This study addresses the interest of female students (santriwati) in Salaf pesantren education, which differs from modern general education. Salaf pesantren education remains rooted in tradition and lacks the typical graduation certificates found in mainstream schools. The research focuses on two key aspects: (1) the motivation of female students (santriwati) in pursuing Salaf pesantren education at Al-Is'af Kalabaan Guluk-Guluk Sumenep Islamic Boarding School; (2) the factors influencing the interest of students in Salaf pesantren education at Al-Is'af Islamic Boarding School Kalabaan Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. This qualitative study employs interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. Findings suggest that female students' interest in Salaf pesantren education is driven by three primary factors: admiration for influential teachers, a desire to deepen religious knowledge, and an interest in learning the sciences of nahwu, fiqh, and women's fiqh. Furthermore, interest is influenced by internal factors like motivation and a love for the subjects, as well as external factors including caregiver motivation, teaching methods, parental support, and peer influence.

Abstract

This study evaluated the integrated Islamic learning system using the CIPP model. The objectives of this study were to (1) understand the background, input, integrated Islamic learning process, and determine the success parameters of the system. The research employed a qualitative approach utilizing the CIPP model for evaluation. Data analysis techniques involved simultaneous cross-section and data interpretation. The findings demonstrated that the integrated Islamic learning system can foster character development and enhance student achievement across various dimensions, including context, input, process, and product. The outcomes include: (1) The background of the integrated Islamic school learning system emphasizes actualizing Islamic civilization for the next generation, (2) The registration process comprises two stages, including assessments related to psychology, basic literacy, and the Qur'an, (3) The implementation of the integrated Islamic school system for character development involves daily habits and self-improvement activities, (4) In terms of character enhancement and student achievement, students are capable of applying Islamic teachings in their daily activities, and the parameters of graduation success are met at preferred schools.

Abstract

There are two aims of this research, namely: 1) describing the procedures for development learning using the SQ3R method which can improve abilities students' reading comprehension, 2) there is an increase in reading ability students' understanding using the SQ3R method. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data source in this research is the informant, namely the teacher Indonesian language class XII SMK Kahuripan 1 Jakarta, namely Mrs. Laili Lufti Yuli, S. Pd and class XII students. The data is in the form of an increase in reading ability understanding using the SQ3R method in students at SMK Kahuripan 1 Jakarta. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, student observation, tests/performance, and and using questionnaires. Characteristic analysis techniques qualitative. Research results regarding improving reading ability understanding using the SQ3R method in students at SMK  Kahuripan 1 Jakarta divided into three, namely: 1) increasing students' liking for language lessons Indonesia, 2) increase in reading comprehension ability results, 3) increase student activities in learning Indonesian.
