Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of digital banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using the Economic Value Added (EVA), Market Value Added (MVA), and Shareholder Value Added (SVA) methods during the period 2021 to 2024. The data analyzed includes the financial performance of five digital banks, namely PT. Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO), PT. Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI), PT. Bank Aladin Syariah (BANK), PT. Bank Neo Commerce (BBYB), and PT. Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR). This study uses quantitative methods to measure bank performance based on three different value-added indicators. The research sample was taken from the annual financial reports of these digital banks. Based on research results for the 2021-2024 period, PT. Bank Jago Tbk shows a stable and positive performance, consistently creating economic value added (EVA) and maintaining solid market value (MVA). However, behind this stability lies a worrying trend, with shareholder value (SVA) turning negative since 2022. On the other hand, PT. Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk shows a picture of extreme volatility after experiencing massive losses in 2022. The bank was able to bounce back and record a strong EVA recovery, even though its market value (MVA) consistently remained in negative territory and continued to decline. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the survival of digital banks is highly dependent on their ability to innovate and maintain operational efficiency, which needs to be supported by a clear regulatory framework. It is also recommended that future research explore the dynamics of this industry in greater depth through broader qualitative variables and approaches.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) development is a strategic factor in improving organizational performance and sustainability. This paper aims to examine the concepts and practices of HR development, including career development, talent management, succession planning, training and development, talent mapping using the 9-Box Matrix, workforce diversity, and affirmative action. The method used in writing this paper is a qualitative approach through a literature review, reviewing various books, scientific journals, and relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that planned career development, systematic talent management, and sound succession planning play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of competent and sustainable HR. Training and development programs tailored to organizational needs can improve employee competence and productivity. Furthermore, the implementation of talent mapping using the 9-Box Matrix helps organizations objectively identify high-potential employees, while the application of diversity principles and affirmative action encourages the creation of an inclusive and equitable work environment. Thus, integrated HR development is key to increasing organizational competitiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

This study examines global Human Resource Management (HRM) planning, the differences in HRM practices across countries, and the impact of international business activities on HRM management strategies. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach through an analysis of literature related to Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM). The results show that SHRM plays a vital role in aligning HRM strategies with organizational business strategies amidst global challenges. Human resource development, job analysis, and workforce forecasting are found to be key factors in improving organizational effectiveness. Furthermore, the application of the principle of equal employment opportunity contributes to the creation of a fair and professional work environment. Overall, strategic and integrated HRM planning is a crucial element in increasing organizational competitiveness in the era of globalization, where flexibility and responsiveness to market and technological changes are key to success in HRM management at the international level.

Abstract

This study arims to arnarlyze the effect of service quarlity arnd farcilities on student sartisfarction art SMK Bararbul Karmil Jartinarngor–Sumedarng. This researrch employed ar quarntitartive arpproarch using ar survey method. The populartion arnd sarmple consisted of 142 students selected through sarturarted sarmpling. Dartar were collected using questionnarires thart hard been tested for varlidity arnd reliarbility. Dartar arnarlysis wars conducted using multiple linearr regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicarte thart service quarlity parrtiarlly hars ar significarnt effect on student sartisfarction, with ar t-varlue of 8.0r61 arnd ar significarnce level of 0r.0r0r0r (<0r.0r5). Farcilities arlso significarntly arffect student sartisfarction. Simultarneously, service quarlity arnd farcilities significarntly influence student sartisfarction, with arn F-varlue of 20r8.60r8 arnd ar significarnce level of 0r.0r0r0r. The coefficient of determinartion (R Squarre) of 0r.750r indicartes thart 75% of student sartisfarction is influenced by service quarlity arnd farcilities, while the remarining 25% is arffected by other farctors beyond this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Viral Marketing, Brand Ambassador, and Perceived Ease of Use on Generation Z’ decision to use the Allo Bank application. This research employs a quantitative research design and uses a purposive sampling technique. The population in this study is unknown. A total of 105 respondents were selected as the sample using a non-probability sampling method and the Lemeshow formula. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The research instrument was a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 and Microsoft Excel. The results indicate that, partially, Viral Marketing has a significant effect on the decision to use the application, Brand Ambassador has a significant effect on the decision to use the application, and Perceived Ease of Use has a significant effect on the decision to use the application.

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector face various complex challenges in maintaining sustainability and increasing their competitiveness in a dynamic market. This study aims to identify and analyze the inhibiting factors and main challenges faced by the Jeruk Salit business in Kabanjahe. The research method uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with orange farm owners to explore information about operations, production management, and challenges faced in running the business. The findings show that the Salit Orange business faces several significant obstacles, including limited harvest season (only once a year), uncertainty in production volume, fruit fly infestation, limited product shelf life (only two weeks), wasteful use of orange waste, and lack of competitive product differentiation. In addition, the study also found that government support is still minimal and farmers have limited knowledge about waste management and modern agricultural technology. The implications of this study are the need for a comprehensive business development strategy, including product diversification through waste processing, the development of agritourism models, collaboration between farmers, and more responsive government policies to the needs of small farmers in order to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of the citrus business in Kabanjahe.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management and development strategies of a citrus farming enterprise to enhance competitiveness at the Salit Citrus Plantation in Kabanjahe. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, utilizing semi-structured interviews, field observations, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of the plantation owner, farm workers, and visitors participating in the citrus-picking tourism activity. Data were analyzed thematically through coding and categorization to identify cultivation strategies, marketing practices, and challenges in business development. The findings show that the plantation is managed using traditional yet consistent practices, including scheduled fertilization, routine pest control, and annual manual harvesting. Marketing strategies are carried out through direct selling and agritourism activities, which provide added value and strengthen relationships with consumers. The plantation also faces several challenges, such as fruit fly infestations, limited utilization of citrus waste, price fluctuations, and insufficient government support. These findings indicate that the combination of consistent cultivation practices, direct marketing, and the development of agritourism plays an essential role in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of small-scale citrus farming enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return On Equity (ROE) at PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk during the period 2014–2023. The method in this study is quantitative associative. The tools used in this study include classical assumption tests which include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and autocorrelation tests, as well as simple and multiple linear regression analysis, determination tests (R square), and hypothesis testing including t-test and F-test. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange.The results of the study indicate that partially Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has a positive and significant effect on Return On Equity (ROE), as evidenced by a t-value of 5.727 > the t-table value of 2.365, and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially has no significant effect on Return On Equity (ROE), with a t-value of 1.139 which is smaller than the t-table value of 2.365 and a significance value of 0.292 > 0.05.Simultaneously, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have a significant effect on Return On Equity (ROE), as indicated by an F-value of 17.351 > the F-table value of 4.74 and a significance level of 0.002 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of human resource management and organizational culture on the quality of guidance counseling services at public high schools in Bogor City. A quantitative approach was used in this study, with a population of 10 public high schools in Bogor City. It consists of subject teachers at public high schools in Bogor City, with 140 respondents and sampling using the Slovin formula with a standard error of 5%, resulting in a sample size of 104 respondents using proportional random sampling. Data collection was conducted using a survey method and questionnaire distribution. The analysis used multiple regression testing. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive effect of human resource management on the quality of guidance counseling services at public high schools in Bogor City. There was a significant positive effect of organizational culture on the quality of guidance counseling services at public high schools in Bogor City. There was a significant positive effect of human resource management and organizational culture on the quality of guidance counseling services at public high schools in Bogor City.
