Abstract

This research is based on the importance of palm oil as a raw material for cooking oil for household consumption so it is an opportunity for palm oil producers to increase sales of palm oil. The sales volume of palm oil is strongly influenced by Land Area, FFB Production, Palm Oil Production and Palm Oil Price. These conditions, palm oil producers are required to attented to the above factors to achieve the target as a market leader in palm oil sales nationally. This research is descriptive using secondary data with research location in PTPN III (Persero) Medan. The method of analysis used is quantitative analysis that is multiple regression analysis. From the results of the analysis obtained regression equation Y = 40,6550 + 10,686 X1 + 1,928 X2 + 6,488 X3 + 67,886 X4 + e, where Variable Price Palm Oil has the biggest influence to Palm Oil Sales Volume of 67,886, then followed by Variable Area Land of 10,686, Palm Oil Production Variable equal to 6,488 and Variable of FFB Production equal to 1,928. Hypothesis testing using t test shows that the four independent variables were Area (X1), Production of FFB (X2), Palm Oil Production (X3) and Palm Oil Price (X4) studied proved positive relationship but not significantly affect the dependent variable buying decision. Thenthe F-test can be known that proved to be a positive relationship but not significantly affect the dependent variable that is Palm Oil Sales Volume. Adjusted R Square figures show that 82.10% of variation in Palm Oil Sales Volume can be explained by the four independent variables in multiple regression equations. While the rest of 17.90% explained by other variables out of the four variables used in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and product facilities on consumer satisfaction with tariffs (toll fees) as an intervening variable (Case Study on Jasa Marga Mabar 1 Toll Gate). This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is 118 thousand vehicles and the total sample is 100 toll net users. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple regression data analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are the quality of service has a positive and significant effect on toll rates at the Mabar toll gate 1. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at the Mabar toll gate 1. Product facilities have a positive and significant effect on toll rates at the Mabar toll gate 1. Facilities product has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at the Mabar toll gate 1. Toll tariffs have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at the Mabar toll gate 1. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through toll rates at the Mabar toll gate 1 Product facilities have a positive effect and significant to customer satisfaction through toll rates

Abstract

Cash is the company's most liquid asset and plays a significant role in funding the company's operations compared to other investments, so cash control is needed within the company. Companies with organizational management where internal controls can control errors in carrying out the profession to protect cash from misuse efforts from when cash is received until it is disbursed. LP3M Superior Polytechnic is a private tertiary institution whose primary income is the payment of student tuition fees. The research method uses the descriptive analysis method. The test results show that the cash receipts internal control system is effective, contrary to the cash disbursement internal control. At the same time, the internal control system for cash disbursements has not been effective because there are still elements of Internal Control within the company that have not been fully implemented, including placing the cashier in the same room as other employees, which should be separate and have a separate room as accounting control.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) di Sumatera Utara semakin pesat. Hal ini memudahkan mahasiswa menentukan pilihan PTS yang menarik untuk dipilih dalam menempuh pendidikan tinggi. STIP-AP sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi yang berfokus pada perkebunan sawit dan karet merupakan PTS yang banyak diminati oleh mayarakat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa utuk memilih kuliah di STIP-AP. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian Agrobisnis Perkebunan (STIP-AP) pada bulan Maret Juni 2020. Metode Penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan dianalisis dengan persamaan regresi linear berganda. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala pengukuran (linkert) dan diolah dengan SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Variabel budaya berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih kuliah di STIP-AP dengan nilai thitung ttabel yaitu 1,064 1,99 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,291 ? (0,05). (2)Variabel sosial berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih kuliah di STIP-AP dengan nilai thitung ttabel yaitu 1,636 1,99 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,155 ? (0,05). (3)Variabel pribadi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih kuliah di STIP-AP dengan nilai thitung ttabel yaitu 1,161 1,99 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,249 ? (0,05). (4)Variabel psikologis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih kuliah di STIP-AP dengan nilai thitung ttabel yaitu 5,6 1,99 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 ? (0,05).

Abstract

In general, solid waste from the palm oil industry contains high organic matter, which has an impact on environmental pollution. Improper handling of waste will pollute the environment. Various efforts have been made to process and increase the economic value of palm oil solid waste. Palm oil waste is the residue from the oil palm plant which is not included in the main product or is a by-product of the palm oil processing process, either in the form of solid waste or liquid waste. Oil palm solid waste can be in the form of empty fruit bunches, shells, bfiber and palm fronds. This research was carried out as an innovation from the previous research process with a differentiator, namely palm fronds, which in previous studies used empty palm oil bunches as raw material. In this study, hydrogen peroxide was used as a factor to determine the quality of paper made from palm fronds. Bleaching is a process of removing the color contained in the fiber due to the presence of lignin in the pulp with the help of chemicals. With three different concentration treatments aimed to determine the difference in the degree of whiteness, grammage and moisture content of the paper. Based on the results of the analysis of variance, it showed that the effect was significantly different on the concentration of the bleach solution (H2O2) with a variation of the concentration of 8% on the grammage with the highest grammage of 4% and 6% concentrations, and also had the lowest water content but at a concentration of (H2O2) 4% and 6% have higher water content.

Abstract

Water is a crucial factor in ensuring smooth and high-quality production in palm oil mills. Minerals present in water can lead to scale formation, sedimentation, and equipment corrosion. Therefore, the demineralization process with cation and anion regeneration is beneficial to maintain water quality in accordance with op- erational standards. Water plays a vital role in the industrial sector; boilers, as primary steam generators, transform water into vapor through heating. However, operating without good water quality can result in issues like scale formation and corrosion. In water treatment processes, chemical substances are required for purification, such as Nalco 3276 for flocculation and Nalco 8173 for flocculant retention. The mineral content in water also affects chemical reactions, such as causing scale formation in boilers and influencing reaction processes. Demineral- ization is frequently employed across various industrial sectors, including palm oil mills, to treat boiler feedwater and other raw materials. Maintaining stable boiler feedwater usage by controlling pH and total hardness prevents problems in pipelines. This research focuses on cation and anion regeneration to reduce min- eral content in boiler feedwater at PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantations, Tbk Palm Oil Mill Kisaran, with the aim to analyze the regeneration process using H2SO4 and NaOH dosages and identify factors causing issues during regeneration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kebun Gunung Bayu PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV yang berlangsung pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya pemanenan yang dikeluarkan untuk harga dasar TBS di perkebunan Gunung Bayu dengan membandingkan harga dasar TBS tertinggi dan terendah dengan satuan Rp/kg dan untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya yang dikeluarkan dari hasil perbandingan rata-rata harga TBS. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data sekunder dengan metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan membandingkan harga pokok TBS tertinggi dengan harga pokok TBS terendah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis biaya pemanenan TBS unit kebun Gunung Bayu sebesar Rp. 1.437/kg. Dengan harga TBS tertinggi terdapat pada seksi VII sebesar Rp. 183/kg dan terendah pada divisi V sebesar Rp. 125/kg. Selisih harga TBS dari divisi VII ke divisi V dengan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 62/kg. Jadi rata-rata biaya TBS yang dikeluarkan adalah Rp. 34.358.435

Abstract

Tourism problems must be resolved quickly because every problem that exists will make the name of the tourist spot a negative value in the eyes of other tourists who want to visit, the tours visited at least provide comfort for visitors so that this positive value will have an impact on the decision to revisit or spread positive information to potential new tourists in the tourist environment itself. This research approach is quantitative with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model. This approach is able to test the most ideal model in estimating endogenous variables. This research was conducted in the North Sumatra region, precisely at the Lake Toba tourist location and the research target was Lake Toba tourism visitors who came from outside the Tobasa Regency area, the population of Lake Toba tourists who had visited at least 250 people twice, the analysis model used to test the hypothesis in this study was multiple regression analysis using the Smart PLS application. Directly Perceived Value, Aspect-Based Sentiment and Tourist Experience have a Significant Effect on the Problems of Lake Toba Tourism Destination Development, Directly Aspect-Based Sentiment and Tourist Experience have a Significant Effect on Perceived Value of Lake Toba Tourism, Indirectly Aspect-Based Sentiment and Tourist Experience have a Significant Effect on the Problems of Lake Toba Tourism Destination Development through Perceived Value.
