Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena beberapa faktor, yaitu minimnya penguasaan struktur gramatika bahasa Indonesia dalam penerjemahan dan kurang tepatnya penyampaian informasi dari bahasa Arab ke bahasa Indonesia. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan bahasa Indonesia dengan kemampuan menerjemahkan teks bacaan berbahasa Arab mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 41 mahasiswa, dalam pengumpulan data penyusun menggunakan dokumentasi dan tes, dan jenis analisis yang digunakan berupa product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan bahasa Indonesia dengan kemampuan menerjemahkan teks bacaan berbahasa Arab mahasiswa semester IV dan VI jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Dengan hal ini maka dapat diperoleh data bahwa semakin baik kemampuan bahasa Indonesia maka semakin baik pula kemampuan menerjemahkan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan r_(xy )sebesar 0,68 yang berada pada 0,40 – 0,70 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,316. Selain itu pula dapat diketahui bahwa kontribusi kemampuan bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menerjemahkan mahasiswa semester IV dan VI jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo sebesar 46,24%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan rumusan masalah yakni, 1) bagaimana tingkat kesalahan mahasiswa semester 4 dalam menerjemahkan kaidah mudhaf mudhaf ilah?, 2) Bagaimana bentuk-bentuk kesalahan terjemahan mahasiswa? 3) Faktor apa yang menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dialami mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan kaidah mudhaf mudhaf ilaih pada mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan bahasa Arab semester 4. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan bahasa Arab semester 4 Gorontalo sejumlah 23 mahasiswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesalahan dalam menerjemahkan kosakata sebesar 76.74. dengan kategori kesalahan dalam kosakata sangat tinggi sebesar 43.5 %, kesalahan dalam menerjemahkan dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 52.2 %, sedangkan mahasiswa yang mengalami kesalahan dengan kategori sedang sebesar 4.3 %. Adapun tingkat kesalahan dalam menerjemahkan kaidah idhafah dengan nilai rata-rata 88.26. Dengan kategori, 73.9 % mahasiswa mengalami kesalahan dalam menerjemahkan dengan kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan mahasiswa yang mengalami kesalahan dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 26.1 %. Kesalahan ini terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang kaidah mudhaf-mudhaf ilaih. sehingga mahasiswa sulit menyusun kalimat mudhaf-mudhaf ilaih.

Abstract

This study is motivated by frequent phonological errors made by ninth-grade students at MTs Al-Falah Limboto Barat in pronouncing Arabic sentences, particularly in muhadatsah (conversational practice). The study aims to analyze the phonological errors that occur and the factors influencing them. The method employed is descriptive quantitative, with the research population comprising all ninth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, online interviews, documentation, and oral tests. The findings indicate that phonological errors predominantly occur in the pronunciation of similar-sounding letters, such as the pronunciation of the letter (د) as (ت). The primary contributing factors include a lack of interest in learning, insufficient focus, and unengaging learning materials. The implication of this research is the necessity for enhancing the quality of Arabic language instruction and more intensive practice in phonological learning. In conclusion, phonological errors can be minimized through more effective teaching strategies.

Abstract

This Skripsi discusses the students' perception on a professional teacher in Arabic learning at class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Falah Kec. Limboto Barat. The problems in this research were: (1) how is the students' perception on Arabic teacher? (2) What are the professional teachers' inhibitors and efforts in Arabic Learning? The aims of this research were: (1) To know the students' perception on Arabic teacher. (2) To know the professional teachers' inhibitors and efforts in Arabic Learning. This research was a descriptive qualitative research which clearly described all events, things, and situations to an object that researched. The data resources were taken from students, Arabic teachers, and the headmaster of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Falah Limboto Barat. Based on the research result, it was found that the students had a good perception on a professional teacher in Arabic learning. It was proven by the teacher ability related to the behavior and performance so the teacher become a good example for the students, mastering the related science, planning the lesson, evaluating, and understanding the students, communicating with the students, teachers, students' parents or society. The problems found by the researcher were: (1) During the Arabic learning, most of the students could not translate the Arabic sentence well; (2) The lack of school administration and lesson books.

Abstract

Interferensi leksikal sering terjadi pada individu yang menguasai dua atau lebih bahasa, termasuk santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah, di mana bahasa Arab digunakan sebagai bahasa pendidikan dan bahasa ibu mereka adalah bahasa Gorontalo. Meskipun banyak penelitian sebelumnya telah membahas fenomena ini, fokusnya sering terbatas pada materi tertentu, sehingga kurang memperhatikan konteks interaksi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi interferensi leksikal dalam interaksi sehari-hari santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan subjek santri kelas VIII A. Data dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan dianalisis menggunakan metode padan referensial. Hasil menunjukkan 21 kali interferensi leksikal dari 13 percakapan, dengan indeks 80,76%. Penyebab interferensi dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti penggunaan bahasa ibu dan keterbatasan dalam bahasa Arab, serta faktor eksternal, seperti kebiasaan berbahasa di keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berguna bagi pendidik untuk mengembangkan strategi pengajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih efektif, dengan mempertimbangkan bahasa ibu dan konteks lingkungan, sekaligus menjadi dasar untuk penelitian lanjut dalam interaksi multilingual.

Abstract

Problematika maharah kalam merupakan tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial, kualitas guru, dan lainnya. Beberapa penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengamati fenomena ini, namun masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam studi-studi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika pembelajaran maharah kalam di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Falah serta memberikan solusi yang sesuai. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masalah utama dalam pembelajaran maharah kalam adalah faktor linguistik, seperti kesulitan penyebutan huruf, keterbatasan kosakata, dan ketidaktepatan menyusun kalimat. Solusi untuk faktor ini meliputi penerapan pembelajaran imla’, penyediaan buku kecil untuk mencatat kosakata, dan latihan membuat kalimat sempurna. Selain itu, terdapat juga faktor non-linguistik seperti latar belakang peserta didik, kurangnya disiplin dalam berbicara bahasa Arab, kurangnya variasi metode dan media pembelajaran, serta keterbatasan alokasi waktu. Untuk mengatasi faktor non-linguistik ini, solusi yang diusulkan adalah pengulangan pembelajaran dari awal, pemberian waktu tiga bulan untuk latihan berbicara, penggunaan metode dan media yang lebih variatif, serta pelanjutan pembelajaran di pondok pesantren.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Arabic teachers' professional competence on students' learning motivation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Cokroaminoto Duminanga. The background of this research highlights the critical role of teachers in fostering student motivation, particularly in the context of learning Arabic, which is not only a communication tool but also a medium for religious education. The primary objective is to assess how the professional competence of Arabic language teachers affects students' motivation to learn. Utilizing a quantitative research method, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 20 students. The reliability of the instruments was tested using Cronbach's Alpha, while validity was confirmed through product-moment correlation. Data analysis was performed using simple regression to determine the impact of the independent variable (teacher competence) on the dependent variable (student motivation). The results reveal a significant positive correlation between the teachers' professional competence and the students' motivation, suggesting that enhancing teacher quality can directly improve student engagement and learning outcomes. This study underscores the importance of continuous professional development for teachers to sustain student motivation, with implications for educational policy and teacher training programs.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of the Tartib al-Nash method to enhance Arabic reading skills among tenth-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah al-Mujahidin Molas. The background highlights the importance of Arabic language proficiency in understanding Islamic literature, which is integral to the curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah. Despite this, students often struggle with reading complex Arabic texts due to limited vocabulary and ineffective reading strategies. The study's objective is to address these challenges by implementing Tartib al-Nash, a method that organizes text systematically to aid comprehension. The research employs a Classroom Action Research methodology, following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which involves planning, action, observation, and reflection cycles. The study is conducted over two cycles, each consisting of three sessions, with the participation of nine students. Data collection methods include tests and observation sheets, and data is analyzed qualitatively. Results indicate a significant improvement in students' reading skills, with a marked increase in their ability to organize and comprehend Arabic texts. The conclusion suggests that Tartib al-Nash is an effective strategy for enhancing Arabic reading skills, with potential implications for broader educational practices in similar contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Silent Way method (At-Thariqah Al-Shamitah) in Arabic language learning, with a focus on enhancing students' maharatul istima’ (listening skills). The Silent Way method, which emphasizes the active role of students in the learning process and limits teacher intervention, is used to improve listening skills through Arabic language instruction. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of three cycles: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In each cycle, the teacher applies Silent Way strategies, observes student progress, and makes continuous improvements based on observation results. The study results show that the application of the Silent Way method significantly improves students' listening abilities in Arabic language learning. Data were obtained from pre- and post-cycle tests, classroom observations, and student feedback. Data analysis indicates an increase in the average maharatul istima’ scores and an improvement in student engagement and motivation in the learning process. The study concludes that the Silent Way method is effective in enhancing students' listening skills and recommends this method as an alternative strategy in Arabic language instruction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of using picture media to enhance vocabulary acquisition. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The researcher employed several data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The Arabic language learning process at MTs Negeri 3 Gorontalo Regency, using picture cards, runs smoothly. The use of picture cards can only be conducted in person and not through online learning. (2) The use of picture cards at MTs Negeri 3 Gorontalo Regency can improve students' vocabulary acquisition, as indicated by the statements of subject teachers who have used picture cards in the learning process.
