Abstract

This paper is a best learning practice, whereby using the Think Pare and Share (TPS) learning model can improve the communication skills of class IX.2 students of SMP Negeri 1 Gangga, North Lombok Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research used is pre-experimental with a one-shot case study design. The population and sample of this study were students of class IX.2 at SMP Negeri 1 Gangga. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The activity took place in two meetings where the first meeting was a think and pair activity and the second meeting was a share activity. Students' communication skills, especially in presentation activities, are on average still low, from lack of confidence, unclear articulation, use of Indonesian to mastery of the material. Through the use of the Think Pare and Share (TPS) learning model, the results obtained are; 92.8% of students opened presentations with greetings, using good and correct Indonesian, 57.2%. Articulation or pronunciation that is clear and loud 82.1%. the ability to cooperate with friends 82.1%. An open attitude to questions from other participants is 21.%. Confidence 42.8% Students who have not mastered the material during presentations are quite high, although not half that is 46.5%, 53.5% feel doubtful between being excited and happy in presentations or not as much as 57.2% students feel capable interact with friends or other participants and students dress neatly during presentations, which is 89.2%.

Abstract

Human resources are one of the key factors to get the best performance, because HR is an effective and efficient factor in determining and achieving goals. Employee performance is the result of work achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. Basically, humans or someone who is in organizational life tries to determine and form an activity plan for all parties, so that carrying out activities does not conflict with the attitudes and behavior of each individual. The population in this study are employees of PT. Berlian Cahaya Bima, which is located at Jalan Selaparang Number 36, Mayura, Cakranegara District, Mataram City, has 120 employees. This study uses a known population and the sample used in this study is a minimum of 100 people. One of the samples taken was proportionate random sampling because the total population was known as 35 employees of PT. Bima Light Diamond. The type of data used is interval data, where the numbers start from the smallest to the largest scale and have the same distance from one another. While the data source used is primary by way of distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of this study indicate that: 1) organizational culture has a significant influence on motivation, which means that the company pays close attention to each employee's work, so that employees are always given support from the company when doing work; 2) motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, which means that the motivation given by the company has a positive effect on employees, so that employees are enthusiastic at work; 3) organizational culture does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction, because job satisfaction is a (positive) attitude of employees towards their work that arises based on an assessment of the work situation; and 4) organizational culture does not have a significant effect on employee performance, employees work based on the organizational culture adopted by the company, if organizational culture encounters obstacles that are happening to employees, then employee performance can be affected. Based on the results of research and processing of data obtained through distributing questionnaires to respondents as many as 150 questionnaires about the influence of organizational culture, motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance. The results of the evaluation of the goodness of fit indices on the structural model of the research results show good results.

Abstract

One of the characteristics that distinguishes the independent curriculum from previous curricula is the profile of Pancasila students as the main goal (aim) of national education. The Pancasila student profile contains the characters and competencies needed by Indonesian citizens to be good citizens of the world. Therefore, it is the teacher's job to ensure that this profile has developed in a balanced way in each student. Assessment is a method used to find out the development of the Pancasila student profile and continuous assessment is absolutely necessary in order to get a clear picture. One of the assessment techniques that can be used is peer-assessment, because with this assessment there is more time to carry out the assessment than if only the teacher did the assessment. This study aims to provide a theoretical study of the implementation of peer-assessment as a technique for assessing Pancasila student profiles. This research is a library research. Researchers obtained data by conducting literature reviews from various sources, such as: books, journals, scientific papers, as well as other relevant documents and literature.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the value of English was far from the specified Madrasah Maximum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Against the background of the low value of the English language, this research was conducted with the aim of increasing the activity of English speaking transactional interaction skills on the material names of days, months and times by using the role play model. This research was conducted from September to November 2017, taking place in class VII-8 MTs. Negeri 1 Mataram, Mataram City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles consisting of two meetings in one cycle, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques and tools in this study used descriptive analysis techniques for data in the form of student performance scores and observation sheets. The results showed that with the activity role play model and students' oral transactional interaction skills increased, that is, from the results of cycle I to Cycle II there was an increase where in cycle I the number of students who received a complete score was 23 students or 67.65%, the score was incomplete on cycle I was 11 students or 32.35%, while in cycle II there was an increase in the pass score, namely, to 23 students or 85.29% there was an increase of 17.64%. It was concluded that the role play model can improve English spoken transactional interaction skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of students class VII MTs. NW Senyiur. While the type of research used in this study is quasi-experimental. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The research instrument was in the form of a learning achievement test sheet. From the results of data analysis on student test results, there was an average score in the experimental class of 81.33 with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 65, while the average score in the control class was 60.17 with the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 40. Then based on the results of the t-test obtained tcount of 8.29 and ttable of 2.00, because tcount ≥ ttable then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So we can conclude that there is an influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of students class VII MTs. NW Senyiur.

Abstract

Hibiscus sabdariffa is a species of the Malvaceae family which has long been used by humans as a traditional medicine. The use of Hibiscus sabdariffa as a traditional medicine is related to its bioactivity. Hibiscus sabdariffa has several pharmacological potentials, namely: 1) anticancer; 2) antioxidants; 3) antibacterial; 4) antiaging; 5) antiseptic; and 6) antihypertensive. The method of writing this article is a literature review published online, especially on Google Scholar using the keywords Hibiscus sabdariffa, bioactivity and utilization of Hibiscus sabdariffa. The results of this review state that rosella flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) have potential as anticancer, antioxidants, antihypertensive antibacterials, and low caffeinated tea drinks.

Abstract

Problems in learning that have been identified from observation activities at Praya 4 Public Middle School, namely, the lack of student motivation in learning so that it has an impact on students' cognitive learning outcomes. This study aims to: 1) determine the effect of the Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) learning model on the motivation of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat Daya; and 2) knowing the influence of the Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) learning model to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat Daya. This type of research is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental), the approach used is a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach in the form of only posttest control group design. Sampling was carried out using the total population sample technique. The sample used in this study was 26 students for the experimental class, and 25 students for the control class. The data collection technique uses observation sheets on the implementation of lesson plans, motivational questionnaires and cognitive learning outcomes tests on excretory system material in humans. The motivational questionnaire data analysis technique and cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using the t-test with the help of SPSS 16. Based on the results of the data analysis showed that, the calculation results obtained the percentage of implementation of lesson plans for the experimental class at meeting I was 77% and at meeting II was 92%. Whereas in the control class at the first meeting the percentage was 53% and at the second meeting it was 84%. Then, the results of the calculation of students' learning motivation in the experimental class were 72% and the control class was 71%. As for the average post-test results in the experimental and control classes respectively, namely 68 and 65, with a significance level of 5% or 0.395 > 0.05, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) in this study is accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) rejected, which means that there is no effect of the meaningfull instructional design learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Someone carrying out activities, activities, or behavior is always based on interest, which in this study was especially in the sport of volleyball. This study aims to determine interest in volleyball at MA Al Ijtihad Danger, East Lombok Regency in 2023. This research is a descriptive study with a survey method of sampling. The population in this study were all students of class X, totaling 40 people. The sampling technique used is sampling or part of the population. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that interest in volleyball at MA Al Ijtihad Danger was high with a percentage of 78.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the level of suitability of physical education learning facilities and infrastructure for public junior high schools in Sumbawa District. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research that is survey in nature, where in a research that observes, records the condition of objects or subjects in the field. The method in this study was a survey method using observation sheets with techniques for calculating sports and health physical education facilities and infrastructure for junior high schools (SMP) in Sumbawa District. The population in this study is Junior High School (SMP) in Sumbawa District. Based on school data, according to the Ministry of Education and Culture, there are 5 schools according to the suitability of physical education facilities and infrastructure in public junior high schools in the Sumbawa sub-district, showing the level of suitability for each school, namely: 1) SMP Negeri 1 Sumbawa Besar at 64%; 2) SMP Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar 68%; 3) SMP Negeri 3 Sumbawa Besar 56%; 4) SMP Negeri 4 Sumbawa Besar 56%; and 5) SMP Negeri 5 Sumbawa Besar 52%, and the level of inappropriateness of physical education facilities and infrastructure, namely: 1) SMP Negeri 1 Sumbawa Besar 58.33%; 2) SMP Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar 37.5%; 3) SMP Negeri 3 Sumbawa Besar 54.16%; 4) SMP Negeri 4 Sumbawa Besar 62.5%; and 5) SMP Negeri 5 Sumbawa Besar 33.3%. Meanwhile, for the suitability of health facilities and infrastructure (UKS): 1) SMP Negeri 1 Sumbawa Besar by 60%; 2) SMP Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar by 80%; 3) SMP Negeri 3 Sumbawa Besar of 93.33%; 4) SMP Negeri 4 Sumbawa Besar by 60%; and 5) SMP Negeri 5 Sumbawa Besar of 33.33%. The level of incompatibility of facilities and infrastructure, namely: 1) SMP Negeri 1 Sumbawa Besar 40%; 2) SMP Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar 20%; 3) SMP Negeri 3 Sumbawa Besar 6.66%; 4) SMP Negeri 4 Sumbawa Besar 62.5%; and 5) SMP Negeri 5 Sumbawa Besar 66.66%. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the level of suitability of all Physical Health facilities and infrastructure in Public Junior High Schools in Sumbawa District is ideal with a percentage of 59.2% and 40.8% for non-compliance, while for the health department (UKS) it is ideal with a percentage of 65 .33% and 34.66% for the discrepancy.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the current era of globalization cannot be avoided anymore its influence on the world of education. The development of technology helps learners create learning communities by using digital communication channels. In addition, the use of information and communication technology is able to accelerate effective and efficient management and education systems. The purpose of writing a review article is to describe the utilization of managing educational standards based on information and communication technology in the world of education. The method used in this study is library research. The data collection method uses the help of the internet to browse various references to books and previous research journals that are in accordance with the Management of Information and Communication Technology-Based Education Standards in relation to improving the quality of national education. The results of this study showed that the development of information and communication technology had a rapid impact on the world of education, especially in learning activities, educational administration and also on the management of educational standards in the 21st century.
