Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of google classroom media on cognitive learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Batulayar for the academic year 2021/2022. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA 1 Batulayar Academic Year 2021/2022 class X MIPA 1 Academic Year 2021 as a control class with a total of 24 people and class X MIPA 1 Academic Year 2022 as an experimental class with 20 students. Research data were taken from pre-test and post-test to both samples. The data collection technique used 15 multiple choice questions and 5 essay questions. Based on data analysis, the average value of the multiple choice pre-test experimental class 41, essay 23 and multiple choice pre-test control class 35.00, essay 14 with homogeneous categories and normally distributed. The results of the post-test showed that the experimental class average for multiple choice essays was 70 and 71.5 and the control class for multiple choice essays was 80.00 and 74.8. The final value data for the two classes was tested using the Critical one-tail t test, it was obtained tcount > ttable with a tcount of -4.00 and ttable of 1.685 at a significant level of 5%, so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there is no influence of google classroom media on cognitive learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Batulayar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model that integrates peer-assessment to improve students' social skills. The peer-assessment instrument was developed using the Dick and Carey model. The trial of the peer-assessment instrument that has been developed was carried out at the MA Annajah Al-Halimy Education Foundation, West Lombok Regency. The peer-assessment instrument that has been developed is focused on assessing the social skills of students. The research data were analyzed descriptively. Assessment of students' social skills using peer-assessment is carried out at each meeting, namely for 4 meetings. The results showed that the social skills of students tended to increase at each meeting, namely: 4; 4.2; 4.3; and 4.4.

Abstract

Life-long learning is an on going educational process without time and place limits. It starts from birth until the end of life, that is what happens in the family, school, workplace, and in public life. The purpose of life-long education is to develop the potential of human personality in accordance with nature and its essence, to develop awareness that the growth and development of the human personality is alive and dynamic, and to expand and increase human hope and life. The implications of life-long learning programs can be grouped into several categories, namely: functional literacy education, vocational education, professional education, education towards changes in development and civic education, and political maturity. This study aims to determine how important lifelong education is for high school students (SMA). The method used in this research is a literature study. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive analytical method with a qualitative approach. The results of the literature study concluded that life-long learning can increase students' independence and entrepreneurial spirit, which is useful throughout the student's life.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and examine in depth the performance of civil servants in public services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The steps used in data analysis techniques are editing, clarifying data, then drawing conclusions. Service during the pandemic is not the same as before Covid-19. Working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic did not go as expected, because service activities in the office are work that must be completed at the office, not at home.

Abstract

During the 7 rounds of PISA, Indonesian students consistently ranked low in scientific literacy assessments. In the last decade, many studies have been carried out by science education researchers in Indonesia in an effort to improve students' scientific literacy. However, this fact is contradictory to the results of the scientific literacy assessment of Indonesian students which still remains low. This can be caused by not many Indonesian science educators who understand the characteristics of scientific literacy. What are the characteristics of scientific literacy in PISA is important to understand so that teachers can apply learning oriented towards the development of scientific literacy in schools and universities. This article aims to describe the characteristics of scientific literacy referring to the PISA science framework in the period 2000-2021. This article was compiled through a literature review. Scientific literacy is defined as the ability of individuals to devote attention to science-related topics and science ideas as a form of individual reflection. A person who is scientifically literate will always devote attention to logical debates regarding science and technology that require competence: 1) explaining phenomena scientifically; 2) evaluate and design scientific investigations; and 3) interpret data and evidence scientifically. Scientific knowledge consist of content, procedural, and epistemic knowledge. The scientific literacy context consist of health and disease, natural resources, environmental quality, hazards and contamination, and the limitations of science and technology. The PISA science attitude aspect consists of a critical attitude of science in decision making and a creative attitude characterized by the ability to propose scientific ideas. In PISA 2021, scientific literacy assessment is not only present as a core domain, but also integrated with mathematical literacy, reading, and creative thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of authentic assessment and critical thinking in a school in the city of Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Semarang. The subjects of this study were the biology teacher at the high school and the students. The focus of this research is to analyze the implementation of authentic assessments and critical thinking during online learning based on the 2013 curriculum. The data collection techniques used are interview techniques for biology teachers, interviews with several students from class XI and XII, observation, and analyzing learning tool documents such as lesson plans and lesson plans. LKPD. The results showed that in the implementation of an authentic assessment of Biology material for class XI and XII at SMA Negeri 3 Semarang during online learning experienced several obstacles from both students and teachers. In addition, the tests and worksheets given by the teacher are indicators of critical thinking.

Abstract

Carbohydrates are compounds consisting of the elements carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, carbohydrates have an important role for life for humans, animals and plants. Carbohydrates and their functions have been described in several verses of the Qur'an.. The perspective of the Qur'an on science, especially on carbohydrates, is sometimes less known to most people that carbohydrates are important to study. The abundance of food on this earth, makes humans less aware and negligent about the importance of the benefits of carbohydrates. The purpose of this study is to find out about the role of carbohydrates in the Qur'an, encourage the development of science in the perspective of the Qur'an, increase faith and gratitude for all God's gifts. The research method in this article uses literature studies, writing techniques to collect data and information by reviewing related journals and books. The result of writing this article is that carbohydrates have an important role, source and impact according to the view of the Qur'an. The conclusion obtained is that the role of carbohydrates has been explained in the Qur'an in the letter (Qur'an: 4, Al-Maidah: 88), the source of carbohydrates (Al-An'am: 95, Yasin: 33, Al-Baqarah: 22, An-nahl; 11, An-Nahl: 68-69), and its impact (Al-A'raf: 31, Al-Maidah: 87).

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems of online classroom learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in natural science subjects for students of SMP Negeri 2 Kediri, West Lombok Regency. The type of research used in this research is survey research with qualitative methods. The population of this research is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kediri for the academic year 2021/2022 as many as 24 students. The time and place of the research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Kediri, Street Wisata Banyumulek, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The research instrument used teacher interview sheets and student questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used teacher interview techniques to obtain data and information from teachers, and response questionnaires to find out the problems of online classroom learning. The results showed that the students' responses in classroom learning obtained 37.8% questionnaire results in the category of strongly agree, 36.6% in the agree category, 37.9% in the doubtful category, 55% in the disagree category, and 12% in the very category. don't agree. This shows that most students agree with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The basis of education is a universal human ideal. Education aims to prepare the person in balance, unity, organic, harmonious, dynamic in order to achieve the goals of human life. So that in the world of education it still cannot be separated from the role of philosophy in it. Philosophy of education is vitally related to the development of all aspects of teaching. By placing educational philosophy at a practical level, lecturers/teachers can find various solutions to problems in the world of education, including health education. The benefits of educational philosophy for health sciences are expected to be able to provide guidance to educators (lecturers/teachers), so that it will be able to color their behavior in managing the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM). In addition, with the existence of an educational philosophy, pure knowledge or advanced knowledge in the field of health sciences can be obtained to be applied for the recovery of patients based on supporting premises. This literature review aims to look at the influence and relevance of philosophy and health science education studied from the 3 main components of philosophy, namely: Ontology, Epistemology and Axiology.

In various research journals that have been screened, the results obtained are that students already know socio-scientific issues in everyday life. But they have not been able to provide reasoning informally correctly on the issues given.
