Gunung Djati Conference Series merupakan penyedia layanan publikasi dan konferensi berbagai bidang keilmuan yang diterbitkan oleh UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian. Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel, kemudian penerbit menyerahkan semua template ke pelaksana konferensi keilmuan. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the pilgrimage of saints in the traditions of the community. The research method used is a qualitative approach by applying participant observation methods, interviews and case studies. The results of the discussion found that the wali pilgrimage is one of the Islamic religious traditions that has many different meanings and motivations for Muslims. This tradition can also be a place to increase a sense of spirituality, strengthen unity and tolerance, and preserve the history and traditions of the Islamic religion. Many practices carried out by the community include: praying, visiting graves, bringing souvenirs, asking questions and reading holy books. This practice has become part of the culture of society. so as to be able to generate motivation for the community, one of which is: Increasing a sense of spirituality, receiving blessings, emulating the saints, preserving history and increasing unity and tolerance. In conclusion, the wali pilgrimage tradition is an important practice in society and has great spiritual, social, and economic impacts. However, visitors must respect local rules and regulations and pay attention to the environmental impact in maintaining the continuity of the pilgrimage pilgrimage practice.

Abstract

The main human need in carrying out life is in terms of interacting with others. In interacting of course humans communicate with each other. However, the interactions that were built through communication in the past and the digital era are now very different. The times have shifted the pattern of interaction to digital media where everyone can access it, especially the anonymous chat application. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the misuse of anonymous chat applications on anonymous chat user interaction patterns that trigger online prostitution. This type of research is included in qualitative research with a phenomenological approach where this research emphasizes the meaning of an action based on individual experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss gender inequality in the study of Sufism. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of library research (library research) by collecting relevant literature and then analyzing it according to the problems discussed. The results and discussion of this study is that there is gender inequality in the study of Sufism which is characterized by a lack of attention to female Sufis. This invites the public's perception that a Sufi is a man. The lack of attention to female Sufis is due to society's lack of trust in the spiritual level of female Sufis and also the limited space for women to move in the social order.

Abstract

Islamic education has a crucial role in shaping the morality of students. This study aims to discuss Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas's thoughts on Islamic education amid the moral decadence of Era Society 5.0. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. The conclusion of the study of the reconstruction of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas's thoughts on Islamic education amid the moral decadence of the Era Society 5.0 is that ideally, Islamic education reflects the cultivation of khuluqi values and discipline of body and soul so that it has implications for improving the character and behavior of students. Some of the efforts that educators can make in building morals in students in the Era Society 5.0 are: 1) educators provide comprehensive and universal education to students; 2) educators introduce and instill good values; 3) accompany and show good things; 4) build cooperation between educators and parents in the process of instilling good values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi alat ukur Affect Intensity Measure Questionnaire (AIM-Q) ke dalam versi bahasa Indonesia. Proses adaptasi alat ukur ini dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan alat ukur dengan bahasa dan budaya Indonesia kemudian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hal ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti panduan International Test Comission (ITC) sehingga hasil adaptasi diharapkan layak untuk digunakan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur AIM-Q reliabel digunakan sebagai instrument penelitian, namun masih belum memenuhi kriteria validitas yang ditetapkan. Melalui tiga uji validitas, AIM-Q valid berdasarkan perhitungan Content Validity Index (CVI), namun tidak pada Corrected Item Total Correlation dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penelitian berikutnya untuk memperhatikan jumlah sampel dan data ekstrim sebelum melakukan pengolahan data. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membantu pengembangan salah satu konstruk alat ukur psikologi serta dapat digunakan dalam praktisi atau akademisi dalam penelitian di Indonesia

Abstract

This training aims to improve participants' scientific article writing skills and provide an in-depth understanding of the effective writing process. The coaching clinic method provides an opportunity for participants to refine and improve their writing skills through guidance and feedback provided by the facilitators. The training method involved a series of activities such as material delivery, group discussion, self review, self healing, self reflection, article consultation, and paper submission practice. The results and discussion showed that participants experienced significant improvement in their scientific article writing skills after attending this training. This training contributed greatly to the development of participants' research and scientific communication skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of master's level students in writing scientific articles, especially writing research backgrounds. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the HOTS-interrogation method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the background prototype is needed by the participants as a reference for writing research background, so that through the application of HOTS analysis, evaluation, and creation of research background writing can be carried out according to the prototype reference, and the interrogation method is then used to prove the ability of 21 participants. respondents in writing research background. This study concluded that the participants proved able to overcome difficulties in making research backgrounds through prototype reference through the application of HOTS-interrogation.

Abstract

This research is based on students' prolematics in learning Arabic. Most students have not paid much attention to Arabic material. This causes their weak ability to listen and speak. And that leads to delays in achieving the goals of listening and speaking skills themselves. Judging from the monthly average score of students, as many as 37.5% of students got scores above the KKM on listening skills. Then as many as 45% of students scored above the KKM on speaking ability. The remaining 62.5% of students who scored below the KKM on listening skills, and 55% of students who scored below the KKM on speaking ability. Based on the results of the author's observations in the field, language learning methods Arabic used by teachers in teaching has not been effective, especially in improving listening and speaking skills at Al-Basyariyah Islamic Boarding School Bandung. The debate method is a method that uses thoughts and ideas between two opposing camps that reinforce each other's arguments. There are three terms that must be understood correctly, namely the method approach, and the model in teaching. Listening ability is a person's ability to understand words or sentences spoken by someone or heard through audio. Speaking ability is the ability to express the sounds in a sentence. related ideas conveyed and responding to the statements of others.The purpose of this study was to determine the students' listening ability in learning Arabic, and also to determine their speaking ability in learning Arabic, and to determine the effect of using the debate method on students' listening and speaking skills. The method used in this study was the true experimental design method. And the approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data collection method in this study was carried out by direct observation, personal interviews, and tests.The results of this study are that the students' listening ability before using the debate method in Arabic learning shows a good level, this is indicated by an average score of 71. The students' listening ability after using the debate method in Arabic learning shows a very good level, with the average value is 87. While the students' speaking ability before using the debate method in Arabic learning shows a good level, this can be seen in the results of the score with a percentage of 47% while the students' speaking ability after using the debate method shows very good results, This can be seen in the results of the value with a percentage of 66%. The use of the debate method has an effect on the listening ability of experimental class students as much as 0.6, there is an increase of 58%. For the experimental class speaking ability of 0.4, there was an increase of 37%. And as a comparison balance for the control class on listening skills of 0.4, there is an increase of 41%. And in students' speaking ability as much as 0.1 there is an increase of 12%. It can be concluded that the use of the debate method to determine the improvement of students' listening and speaking abilities is very effective compared to students who do not use the debate method (control class).

Abstract

Code-switching and code-mixing are phenomenon which is influenced by the bilingualism of someone or a speech community. The bilingualism is also affected by globalization which makes a lot of information and knowledge available to everyone in the world. The study background is the code-switching and code-mixing phenomenon occurs both in formal or informal situation, including in English for Foreign Language classroom where people learn English to gain more wide information and knowledge. The aims of this research are to identify the types of code-switching and code-mixing and which type is dominantly used by teacher and students in EFL classroom. The study used a descriptive qualitative method to analyse the choice code phenomenon used by teacher and students in EFL classroom under study. The theory used to analyse the code-switching and code-mixing are the three types of code-switching by Poplack (1980) and the three types of code-mixing by Muysken (2000). As the result there are found that the type of code-switching mostly used is the inter-sentential switching in case to clarify the meaning of target language by switching to the first language. And the type of code-mixing mostly used is the insertion which occurs consciously to mention some point in target language
