Abstract

This research is in the background because of the students' understanding in mathematics learningthat causes low student learning outcomes. Based on the problem, one approach that can improvestudents' understanding is Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The purpose of thisclassroom action research is to know the improvement of students' mathematicsal conceptunderstanding by applying Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The kind of research is classroom activity includes four stages of research: planning, execution, observationand reflection. This study consists of two cycles. The subjects of this study were fourth gradestudents in one of the elementary schools in the northern metro sub-district which presented 20students. Data processing used is quantitative and descriptive qualitative data analysis. The resultof the research shows improvement of students' mathematicsal concept understanding in eachcycle. This can be seen in the first cycle which is 65.00%, the second cycle 85.00%. Based on theresult of this research, it can be concluded that the application of Realistic Mathematics Education(RME) approach can improve the understanding of mathematicsal concept of fourth grade students of elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on ICT learning outcomes for students of class xi mipa at SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti. Respondents were 151 students of class XI MIPA with a sample of 60 students from the student population. In this study using quantitative methods with data testing using SPSS 22. Data were obtained by filling out questionnaires by students. The tests carried out are validity, reliability, and R Square to find out how much influence online learning has on students' ICT learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between the influence of online learning on learning outcomes. It can be seen that the value of sig.(2-tailed) for each variable X and variable Y is < 0.005. Judging from the values of rcount and rtable, the result is that the value of rcount > rtable. Rtable value0.254. variable X has a Cronbach's alpha value > 0.06, namely variable X with a value of 0.759, thus the design of the questionnaire questions on the online learning variable is reliable. The value of R square is 0.832, which means that the independent variable (online learning) is able to explain the dependent variable (learning outcomes) of 83.2% and the rest is determined or explained by other variables not explained in thisstudy. According to the ICT teacher in class XI MIPA, student learning outcomes tend to be stable and do not experience a decline, even though learning is carried out boldly.

Abstract

Daily tests are part of the evaluation system carried out by educators to students to measure and assess the achievement of student competencies after completing basic competencies (KD) in learning. In this school, the daily test process is manual or conventional, where the daily test is done by doubling the questions, using paper, stationery and the results of the daily tests are checked by writing on paper one by one. Of course it has drawbacks, namely increasing answer sheets, requiring paper costs, teachers calculating relatively long scores and the time it takes students to find out values is relatively long. This type of research uses Research and Development research with the abbreviation (R&D) with a 4D version development model (Four D) with the stages ofdefine, design, develop and desiminate. As well as the development model using the SDLC (SystemDevelopment Life Cycle) with the Waterfall model with the stages of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment. The results of this product test have been carried out with several lecturers (computer and education experts), teachers, and students. With the Validity Test with expert lecturers in the field of computers and education obtaining 0.72, it is categorized asvalid, the Practicality Test conducted by the teacher obtains 0.84 which is declared high and the value of the Effectiveness Test tested on students is 0.79 declared effective.
