Kajian Bahasa dan Sastra (KABASTRA)
KABASTRA adalah sebuah jurnal double blind peer-review yang didedikasikan untuk memublikasikan hasil penelitian di bidang bahasa dan sastra. Semua publikasi dalam jurnal KABASTRA bersifat akses terbuka yang memungkinkan artikel tersedia secara bebas online. Pada awal didirikannya, KABASTRA dikelola dan diterbitkan oleh UPT Bahasa Universitas Tidar, lalu selanjutnya melakukan kerja sama dengan HISKI Kedu untuk membantu para dosen, akademisi, praktisi, peneliti, guru, dan masyarakat umum dalam menyebarkan hasil penelitiannya. Jurnal KABASTRA terbit 2 kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal KABASTRA (Kajian Bahasa dan Sastra) menampung dan menerbitkan hasil kajian dan penelitian tentang Bahasa dan Sastra, selain itu Jurnal KABASTRA juga menerima tulisan hasil kajian atau penelitian yang berkaitan dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup: Kajian Bahasa Kajian Sastra Kajian Literasi Kajian Sastra Lisan Kajian Pengajaran Bahasa Kajian Pengajaran Sastra Kajian Bahasa Multidisiplin Kajian Bahasa Interdisiplin Kajian Bahasa Terapan Kajian Sastra Multidisiplin Kajian Sastra Interdisiplin

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the Inquiry approach as an effort to improve language style learning in class X high school students Ar-Rosyidah Magetan. This research was conducted in semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year with two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The research subjects were grade X students of Ar-Rosyidah Magetan High School in 2021/2022 as many as 35 students consisting of 11 male students and 24 female students. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection using the method of observation and student performance test methods. The results of the study concluded that the application of the inquiry method could improve the learning of the language style of X grade students of Ar-Rosyidah Magetan High School. This can be proven by the results of students' learning completeness. The results of mastery learning in cycle 1 = 57% and cycle 2 = 85%.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by literary works which are a reflection of society that describes everyday reality. The Egocentric novel by Syahid Muhammad tells various realities, especially the reality of social media that occurs in society. This study aims: (1) to describe the reality of social media contained in the Egocentric novel by Syahid Muhammad, then correlated with the current reality, and (2) to produce teaching materials for learning literary appreciation in high school about the reality of social media in the Egocentric novel by Syahid Muhammad. This research is a qualitative research that is examined using the sociology of literature with a mimetic approach. The primary data source of this research is the novel Egocentric by Syahid Muhammad, while the secondary data source is obtained from news articles on the internet. The data of this research are sentences that contain the reality of social media in the novel Egocentric and their correlations in real life. Collecting data using literature study method with reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis used the analytical description method. The results of the study found 20 social media reality data in the Egocentric novel by Syahid Muhamaad and their correlations in the real world, and produced teaching materials in the form of handouts for class XII SMA at KD 3.8 and 4.8.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated because it did not meet expectations with the emergence of very prominent differences that were far from the reader's imagination before the novel was filmed. The objectives of this study are: (1) To obtain the form that occurs in the ecranization of characters in the novel and film Keluarga Tak Kasat Mata and to produce review text learning materials in junior high school. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design using a comparative descriptive research method. The sources of data in this study are the novel Keluarga Tak Kasat Mata by Bonaventura Genta and the film Keluarga Tak Kasat Mata by Hedy Suryawan. The data of this research are in the form of phrases, sentences, and parts that contain additions, contractions, changes in variations. The data collection used is a read-listen-note technique. The results showed that the most common form of ecranization was the shrinkage aspect. Learning materials developed from the forms of ecranization can be applied to KD 3.11 and 4.11 class VIII SMP regarding review texts.]]>

<![CDATA[This research describes the genetic relationship between Jambi Malay and Palembang Malay language. Related research is still rarely done, so this research needs to be carried out. This study describes the percentage of genetic relationship (lexicostatistics), separation time (glotochronology), correspondence devices, and phonological changes that occur in both languages. The main theory used in this research is Keraf (1996). The data were analyzed using interview method with note and record techniques. Quantitative evidence was obtained by using lexicostatistical and glotochronological analysis techniques. The qualitative evidence is obtained by looking for phonemic correspondence and phonological changes that occur in the languages that being compared. The results of this research showed that lexicostatistically, Jambi Malay and Palembang Malay were related by 76%. Glotochronologically, the Jambi Malay and Palembang Malay language separated in the years 1.276-1.462 (2022).). Qualitatively, six sets of phonemic correspondence and three types of phonological changes were found.]]>

<![CDATA[Local street foods are closely related to their cultural roots, thus the names of the food resemble their cultural identity. It is assumed that every name may have some background knowledge from its origin. This study aims to obtain an extensive description and classification of the lingual unit from West Java’s street foods. This research is an anthropological linguistic study using a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnosemantic approach. The result of this study shows 17 lingual unit data in the form of words, such as acronyms and original Sundanese words. Ten data were found in the form of attributive endocentric phrases which were classified into four parts. Those four parts are attributive phrases based on processing methods, regional origin, basic ingredients, and processed forms.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the existence of moral values contained in the collection of short stories of Men in the City of Gawai and the phenomenon of adolescent moral decline in Indonesia. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the moral values in a collection of short stories for men in the city of Gawai. (2) Produce teaching materials for learning literature in junior high schools that are developed from moral values in the collection of short stories for Men in the City of Gawai. This research design uses descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the moral value of a collection of short stories entitled Men in the City of Gawai by Kholis Kurnia wati et al. The data used are excerpts of sentences and paragraphs containing moral values in a collection of short stories, while the source of data is obtained from a collection of short stories by Kholis Kurnia Wati et al entitled Men in the City of Gawai. Methods and techniques of data collection in this study is the method of reading with a note-taking technique. The method and analysis technique used is descriptive analysis method. The results of this research collection of short stories of Men in Gawai City contain the moral value of human relations with God, human relations with themselves, human relations with fellow humans. The moral value of a collection of short stories for Men in the City of Gawai can be formulated as teaching materials in the form of handouts of review texts for class VIII in junior high school at KD 3.11 and KD 4.11.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper aims at describing the various target domains possibly referred by the source domain ayam 'chiken' found in Indonesian proverbs. By observing data mainly collected from Indonesian proverb book, it is found that ayam 'chiken' as one of the most popular animals raised by Indonesian people can be exploited to metaphorically resemble various source domains. Those are from the most common to the least, are i.e human state, human character, problem, luck, and truth and falsity.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the personality of the main character in the novel Pulang ke Rinjani by Reza Nufa based on the id, ego, and superego. This research uses Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic study. The analytical methods and techniques used are qualitative descriptions using content analysis techniques. The results of this study are to show the personality of the main character in the novel Pulang ke Rinjani by Reza Nufa. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there are three personality structures in Reza Nufa's Pulang ke Rinjani Novel, including (1) Reza's personality from the id perspective is more inclined to self-fulfillment to keep achieving the desire for pleasure so that he refuses things that make him feel anxious, one of which is depression. (2) Reza's personality from an ego perspective is more inclined to adjust to the environment that he has never felt before. (3) Reza's personality from the perspective of the superego is more inclined to describe his identity which is in line with the principle of morality based on his conscience. So the superego that happened to Reza was able to grow himself in the order that was formed on the values and norms that prevailed in society. For readers and further researchers in the novel Pulang ke Rinjani by Reza Nufa, there are other aspects that can be studied using theory from a different point of view.]]>

<![CDATA[The personal social media makes people easily upload narration, photos, or videos using their own accounts. Online learning system during the pandemic makes the students having less social interaction that affects their character development. The problem is the lack of language politeness in social media. This can be seen in the improper dictions which found on social media. The purpose of this Community Service Program is to increase the social media literacy skills for the students of Semarang Vocational High School named Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Perdana Semarang. Having the literacy skills, students would be able to use social media wisely. Discussion and socialization methods had used in this community service. Result of this Community Service Program is the increasing social media knowledge and social media literacy skills of the students of SMK Perdana Semarang.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out the ideological differences between the local Papuan online news media (Jubi.co.id) and the Indonesian national online news media (Kompas.com) with the highest reader traffic related to the news on the Kiwirok violence on September 13th, 2021, involving the TPNPB OPM and the Indonesian military. Media ideology is revealed by looking at the use of adjectives in news texts. This research uses the Fairclough model of Critical Discourse Analysis framework with Halliday's Systemic Functional Lingustics approach. The method of data collection was done by using purposive sampling documentation technique. The data is collected in a corpus to be processed with the Antconc. Adjective words are collected to be understood in the context of their use. The results showed that the media Jubi.co.id reports events by giving a bad image to the two parties: the party who carried out the attack and the state/ apparatus. Kompas.com reports the news by giving a bad image to the party who carried out the attack and a good image to the state/ apparatus.]]>
