Abstract

High rates of unresolved customer complaints and the absence of structured Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and transparent incentives present significant challenges for PT XYZ, a telecommunications company. These issues undermine employee motivation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, ultimately threatening the company’s profitability and competitive positioning. This study analyzes how Organizational Culture influences Knowledge Management, impacting KPI, System Incentives, and Customer Complaints in a telecommunications company. Using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, the findings reveal that Organizational Culture significantly enhances Knowledge Management, which serves as a critical mediator in driving organizational effectiveness. The study highlights the strong and significant relationships between Knowledge Management and internal processes, such as KPI and incentive systems, as well as its moderate impact on reducing customer complaints. The results confirm the mediating role of Knowledge Management in linking Organizational Culture to both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering a strong organizational culture to support knowledge-sharing practices, enabling companies to achieve their strategic goals. Future research could expand on these findings by exploring additional mediating variables or applying the model to other industries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's leadership and work culture on employee performance in the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). The issue of gender equality is a major concern in this context, considering that there are still structural and cultural challenges that hinder women's participation in strategic positions. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative strategy and multiple linear regression method to measure the influence of two independent variables—women's leadership and work culture—on employee performance as dependent variables. Data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires and tested for validity and reliability to guarantee the reliability of the results. The results of the analysis show that both independent variables have a significant influence on improving employee performance. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening an inclusive work culture and supporting women's strategic roles in leadership to drive organizational productivity and effectiveness. The practical implication of this research is the need to strengthen gender-based policies and transform work culture in SOEs to create a more equal and progressive workspace.

Abstract

Work-life balance is increasingly recognized as a strategic component in human resource management, particularly in high-pressure industries such as oil and gas. This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance on employee mental health, with job satisfaction acting as a mediating variable. The research was conducted among permanent employees of PT. XYZ, who work under rotational schedules and face intensive operational demands. Utilizing a quantitative approach and survey method, data were collected from 100 respondents using standardized instruments: the Work-Life Balance Scale, the Job Satisfaction Survey , the Mental Health Inventory-38 (Veit & Ware, 1983). The data were analyzed using PROCESS Macro Model 4 with bootstrapping procedures. The findings indicate that work-life balance significantly affects mental health, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is found to be a significant mediator that amplifies the positive effect of work-life balance on psychological stability. These results reinforce the theoretical perspectives of the Job Demands–Resources model and the Broaden-and-Build Theory, highlighting the affective buffering role of job satisfaction in mitigating psychosocial stress. The mediation model accounts for 56.2% of the variance in employee mental health. Practically, this study provides a foundation for organizations to develop work policies that are not only flexible but also attentive to employees’ affective needs. Emphasizing job satisfaction as a mediation pathway opens opportunities for strategic interventions through job design, emotional support systems, and psychological empowerment in the workplace. This research contributes to data-driven human resource policies aimed at creating healthy and sustainable work environments.

Abstract

This study investigates public sentiment dynamics and dominant thematic concerns related to Indonesia’s new capital city development project (Ibu Kota Nusantara–IKN), particularly in the context of the political leadership transition from President Joko Widodo to President-elect Prabowo Subianto. Utilizing a dataset comprising 9,451 tweets collected from 2017 to 2025, sentiment analysis and topic modeling were applied to classify sentiment polarity and identify prevailing public discourse themes. Various traditional machine learning models—including Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), AdaBoost, XGBoost, and LightGBM—were systematically compared with transformer-based deep learning models, specifically IndoBERT, to determine their effectiveness in sentiment classification. Results demonstrated that the IndoBERT model outperformed all traditional classifiers, achieving the highest accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, highlighting its superior capability in capturing nuanced linguistic patterns within informal social media texts. Independent samples t-tests revealed statistically significant sentiment shifts between the two political phases, emphasizing the impact of leadership transitions on public sentiment. Topic modeling further identified critical themes such as environmental sustainability, socio-economic implications, transparency, governance, and infrastructure development as central concerns driving public discussions. These findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders, underscoring the importance of strategic communication and responsiveness to public sentiment in large-scale government initiatives.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of digital business, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must adapt their marketing strategies, particularly through Social Media Marketing (SMM), to remain competitive and increase market visibility. Despite their significant contribution to Indonesia’s economy, many MSMEs face challenges in effectively leveraging SMM. This study examines the impact of SMM on Brand Image (BI), Brand Awareness (BA), and Purchase Decision (KP) using Celkeku, an online cake shop, as the research object. Data were collected via a survey of 150 Celkeku customers and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to evaluate relationships among variables. The findings show that SMM positively influences BI and BA, but BA does not significantly affect KP. Instead, BI serves as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of SMM on KP, highlighting the crucial role of brand image in consumers’ purchase decisions. This study supports the Theory of Planned Behavior and Consumer Decision-Making Theory within the context of digital marketing for MSMEs. Moreover, the results suggest that enhancing brand awareness alone is insufficient; MSMEs must prioritize strengthening brand image and delivering quality customer experiences to build trust, satisfaction, and product differentiation, which subsequently impact purchase decisions. Limitations include the cross-sectional design, a sample limited to Celkeku customers, and potential respondent bias. Future research is recommended to adopt mixed methods to explore psychological and emotional factors influencing purchasing decisions in digital businesses.
