Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in science subjects at Elementary School 01 Baru Cijantung, East Jakarta. The research involved two groups: a control class receiving conventional instruction and an experimental class taught using the PjBL model. The results indicate that students in the experimental group achieved higher scores and demonstrated better engagement compared to those in the control group. Statistical tests confirmed a significant influence of PjBL on student learning outcomes. These findings suggest that the PjBL method enhances not only academic achievement but also critical thinking and problem-solving skills in science subjects. The study encourages the integration of PjBL in the elementary school curriculum to improve student learning experiences.

The analysis of integration between employee engagement and change management has not been much studied, as most previous studies have researched independently. The objective of the research is to analyze the factors that influence employee engagement in change and the influence on organizational transformation effectiveness. 401 respondents were obtained with criteria of permanent employee and minimum working time of 2 years. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and SEM PLS. The results showed that change-related organizational resources, change-released job resources, change-related job demands, and personal resources have a significant positive impact on employee engagement in change, then employee engagement in change has a significant positive impact on the effectiveness of organizational transformation both directly and as a mediator.

Abstract

The suitability of CABG compared to PCI for patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) remains a controversial issue. Despite growing evidence supporting the clinical efficacy of these revascularization strategies, there is little evidence regarding their long-term cost-effectiveness. The aim of this study was to critically evaluate the literature regarding the cost-effectiveness of CABG compared to PCI and assess the quality of the available economic evidence. The methods is a systematic review was conducted using three databases: PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar. Three studies were retrieved then compared the economic evaluation of CABG vs PCI measures The result is the improvement (ICER) reported across studies varied widely by perspective and timeframe. ICER calculation was reported to be favorable and cost effective for CABG. The conclusions is CABG is more cost-effective than PCI in cases of coronary artery disease. The evidence supporting this cost-effectiveness will continue to evolve and further evaluation over a period of 10 years or more is needed considering societal perspectives.

Abstract

Allegations of serious human rights violations that occurred in Timor Leste after the 1999 Referendum became one of the black notes in Indonesia's history. At the time, Indonesia was facing serious accusations in the form of alleged Crimes Against Humanity, and an Ad Hoc Human Rights Court was established at the Central Jakarta District Court to prosecute the defendants in this case, but unfortunately the results of the trial were still far from the victims' expectations. Thus, it is important to conduct a more in-depth study of law and human rights from an academic perspective to get a complete picture of the legal construction of alleged crimes against humanity in Timor Leste. Moreover, serious human rights violations certainly require an in-depth legal analysis framework, not only the national legal framework but also the international legal framework and also precedents from previous international human rights crime tribunals. This is important, thus there are more references and analyzes that can provide an overview of human rights events that have occurred in Timor Leste, especially after the implementation of the 1999 Referendum.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of using Quizizz Paper Mode as a learning medium on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Setu 02 Jakarta. Employing a quantitative research method with a Posttest-Only Control Design, the study involved two groups: an experimental group utilizing Quizizz Paper Mode and a control group relying on conventional teaching methods. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in the experimental group's post-test scores compared to the control group, indicating the effectiveness of Quizizz Paper Mode in enhancing students' mathematical understanding and engagement. The study's findings suggest that integrating technology like Quizizz Paper Mode in education can positively influence learning outcomes, though limitations such as sample size and focus on a single subject should be considered. The research underscores the need for further exploration and implementation of educational technologies in primary school curricula.

Abstract

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a part of applied science, a combination of Linguistics and Psychological Sciences which has been frequently used in various domains since 1970. Its effectiveness in responding to various situations can be seen in the scope of companies, businesses, campuses, education, marketing, health, personal life, and even the improvement of spiritual life. NLP is a powerful and useful methodology that helps us communicate effectively and get the desired results. In this research, NLP technique observations were carried out on the multiculturalism activities of Pandita/Hindu Religious Leaders in Bali. Hindu priests in Bali give religious lectures, cultural seminars, and religious and cultural rituals not only in Balinese and Indonesian but also in English. Multiculturalism activities are also carried out by various ethnic groups, religions, and citizens of the world. There are three NLP patterns used by Hindu Pandita in Bali in their multiculturalism activities: Deletion, Generalization, and Distortion. Frequently, the Deletion and Distortion techniques are most widely used. These techniques can provide benefits such as communication becoming more effective and flexible, the speaker becoming more charismatic, and listeners being curious about what kind of thoughts/views they have and having further curiosity.

Abstract

This study is an evaluation of the implementation of the School Mover program in 23 junior high schools in East Manggarai Regency using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model. This study aims to analyze the Context, Input, Process, and Product of the program. The method used in this research is descriptive statistics to measure the perceptions and evaluations of school principals, teachers, school supervisors, facilitators, school committees and stakeholders. The results of statistical measurements of perceptions and evaluations were juxtaposed with data from interviews and document reviews. The results of the data analysis show that the Input, Process and Product aspects fall into the "Good" level, while the Context aspect falls into the "Weak/Lacking" category. Weakness or lack of context aspect is caused by many factors, among others, the lack of involvement of local communities and accommodating socio-cultural needs in the planning and implementation of the Mobilizing School Program. For this reason, schools need to conduct an in-depth analysis of the contextual factors that influence the implementation of the program, such as the socioeconomic conditions of the community, local culture, education infrastructure and local government policies. Schools need to consider the active involvement of all stakeholders, including local government, schools, teachers, parents and local communities, in formulating and implementing strategies to strengthen the context aspect.
