Abstract

Abstract. This paper looks at the contributions worker unions have made to ensuring prompt promotions for workers, the regular delivery of training programs for workers, and the extent to which effective labour unionism has ensured the prompt payment of pensions and gratuities to retirees in Nigeria. The study's theoretical framework was the pluralism theory by Flanders and Fox (1970). Secondary sources were used to collect the data. On the produced materials, contextual analyses were conducted. The results of the study showed that due to the difficult political environment in the nation, Nigeria has not had effective unionism over the years. Because of this, it is uncommon for employer support employee welfare programs like job security, prompt promotion with commensurate financial benefits, regular training programs, and pension and gratuity benefits to be provided. All of these have caused employees across Nigerian government institutions to experience hunger, poverty, and a lack of motivation to carry out their assigned duties. The researcher suggested that labour unions in Nigeria, among other things, should persuade government institutions to ensure adequate provision of workers welfare in order to improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of the workers and toward higher performance in the organizations; unions should seek redress in industrial court with regards to any infringement on the rights of any worker in Nigeria as this has produced results in the past.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap displin kerja di Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan merupakan penelitian populasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar sebanyak 43 orang. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan mendapatkan hasil yaitu: Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan variabel kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap displin kerja di Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan, displin kerjaAbstract: This research is to find out whether there is an influence of leadership on work discipline in the Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach and is population research. The sample in this research was 43 employees at the Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar. The hypothesis test in this study used a simple linear regression test. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai kantor bupati di Kabupaten Enrekang. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah gaya kepemimpinan, sedangkan variabel terikatnya kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 65 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana denga menggunakan spss 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari uji t menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan antara kedua variabel dengan probabilitas sig. sebesar 0,000 dimana nilai ini jauh lebih kecil dari 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan mem[unyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Dikarenakan nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari taraf kesalahan (0,05). Kesimpulannya bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Kantor Bupati Kabupaten Enrekang.Kata kunci : Gaya Kepemimpinan, Kinerja PegawaiAbstract. This research is to find out whether there is an influence of leadership style on the performance of regent's office employees in Enrekang Regency. The independent variable in this research is leadership style, while the dependent variable is employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research. The number of respondents used in this research was 65 people. The data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of this research obtained from the t test show a significant influence between the two variables with a probability of sig. of 0.000 where this value is much smaller than 0.05. This means that leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance. Because the significant value is smaller than the error level (0.05). The conclusion is that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Enrekang Regency Regent's Office employeesKeywords : Leadership Style, Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of input usage, e-commerce adoption, inflation rate, and COVID-19 pandemic conditions on the performance of Small and Micro Industries (SMEs) in Indonesia. The research approach used is quantitative using panel data from 34 provinces in Indonesia for the period 2019 to 2023. The analysis model used is panel data regression, with data processing carried out using EViews software. The estimation results show that the input usage variable has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. Meanwhile, the use of e-commerce, inflation rate, and the COVID-19 pandemic dummy variable did not show a significant effect on SME performance during the study period. These findings indicate that optimizing production input remains a key factor in improving SME performance, while digital adaptation through e-commerce still requires capacity building and better infrastructure support to provide real impact. The suggested policy implications include the need for a program to strengthen access to quality production inputs and accelerate SME digital transformation through training, mentoring, and development of a more inclusive e-commerce ecosystem at the regional level.Keywords: MSME Performance, E-Commerce, Inflation, COVID-19

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of physical and non-physical work environment on employee work motivation at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of South Sulawesi Province, whether the physical and non-physical work environment has a significant influence. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method conducted on employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of South Sulawesi Province. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to 65 employees as samples, the sampling method is the saturated sampling method and analyzed using differential statistical analysis techniques, namely multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the physical and non-physical work environment on work motivation has a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that a good and comfortable physical and non-physical work environment can effectively increase work motivation in the organization. Thus, it is recommended that the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of South Sulawesi Province continue to develop a positive work environment to improve better work motivation.Keywords: Physical work environment, non-physical work environment, work motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the Work Discipline and Compensation on Employee Productivity at the Samsat UPT Revenue Office of South Makassar I Region. This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The data collection method is carried out by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees of the Samsat UPT Revenue Office of South Makassar I Region, totaling 83 people, as well as being a sample with a sampling technique, namely saturated sampling. The data analysis technique is through the stages of validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing, t-test, f-test, and R2 testing which are intended to test the proposed hypothesis. With data processed through the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. The results of this study indicate that Work Discipline and Compensation have a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity, both partially and simultaneously. This shows that the better the level of Work Discipline and Compensation of employees at the Samsat UPT Revenue Office of South Makassar I Region, the higher the level of employee Productivity at the Samsat UPT Revenue Office of South Makassar I Region.Keywords: Work Discipline, Compensation, Employee Productivity

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of workload on employee performance atPublic Service Mall (MPP) Office of Barru Regency.The population in this study wasThe population that will be taken by the researcher in this study is the Superiors and Employees of the Public Service Mall (MPP) Office of Barru Regency which consists of 16 service agency units.The sampling of this study used purposive sampling so that three agencies were selected as research samples, namely the Licensing Unit, Disdukcapil (Population and Civil Registration Service), and BPKSDM (Human Resource Development and Personnel Agency). The data used are primary data and secondary data obtained using a questionnaire distribution technique. The results of the study after the data was processed with SPSS.24 showed that there was a positive influence between the Workload variable (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) which can be shown through a simple linear regression equation, namely Y = 31.366 + 0.510 X + e and has a significant effect on the value??????? 4.829 where the overall level used by the author is 0.05 and the degree of freedom with the formula, (a = 5% / 2). df = n - k (72-2) shows a value of 1.994 meaning that the workload variable has a significant effect on employee performance variables. The determination value (R Square) is 0.429. This means that 42.9% of Employee Performance is influenced by the Workload variable in this study, while the remaining 57.1% is influenced by other variables outside the independent variables used in this study. Based on this description, it can be concluded that Workload has a positive and significant effect because a high workload can challenge employees to complete the work.Keywords: Workload, Employee Performance

This type of research, the population is 120 employees with a sample determination of 120 employees. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that partially there is a positive and significant effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on dividend policy in multinational companies in the consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), both partially and simultaneously. The sample of this study uses a purposive sampling technique for the period 2019 to 2023, consisting of 13 selected multinational companies in the consumption sector. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with an explanatory approach. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The multiple regression analysis uses SPSS 26. The results of the study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) does not have a significant effect with a significance value of 0.729 on the dividend policy of multinational companies in the consumption sector listed on the IDX. Conversely, the Current Ratio (CR) does not have a significant effect on dividend policy with a significance value of 0.575. Simultaneously, the regression model tested shows that the F statistic value indicates that the correlation between the independent variables is not strong enough to explain the dependent variable or is not significant.Keywords: Profitability, liquidity, dividend policy

Management Study Program. Faculty of Economics and Business. Makassar State University. This study aims to determine the effect of work life balance and burnout on the level of employee job satisfaction at PT. Columbus Cash & Credit Parepare branch. The variables in this study consist of independent variables, namely work life balance and burnout, and the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents. This study uses SPSS software version 27 as proof of the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that good work life balance has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction and bad burnout has a negative impact on job satisfaction.Keywords: work life balance, burnout, and job satisfaction.
