Abstract

This study aims to analyze and synthesize the crucial role of educational psychology in formulating comprehensive strategies for preventing and handling bullying in elementary schools. Bullying is a serious problem that causes broad psychological impacts, including decreased mental health, increased anxiety, and loss of motivation and academic achievement in victims. This literature review identified that the roots of bullying behavior often lie in psychological factors such as poor emotional regulation in perpetrators, the need for dominance, and the influence of group conformity. The method used was a qualitative literature study, with a critical analysis of various scientific sources to classify the causes, impacts, and relevant intervention models. The results of the synthesis indicate that effective prevention must be based on educational psychology. Key strategies include the systematic implementation of Social-Emotional Competence (SEL) programs to instill empathy and relationship skills in all students. In addition, cognitive-behavioral interventions are needed to change the aggressive mindset of perpetrators, as well as strengthening self-esteem and assertiveness skills in victims. This study also emphasizes the importance of activating the role of witnesses (bystander intervention) and the use of the Restorative Justice model to restore relationships. Thus, educational psychology serves as a scientific framework for creating a safe, supportive, and child-friendly school climate.

Abstract

Whether it is recognized or not, Pesantren is the oldest educational institution that has been inherent in the course of Indonesian life since hundreds of years ago and has made many significant contributions to the development of this nation, so it is not surprising that education experts like Ki Hajar Dewantoro and Dr. Soetomo once dreamed of a model of the pesantren education system as a model of national education. For them, the pesantren education model is a smart creation of Indonesian culture that has character and should be maintained and developed. Because there are many

Abstract

Islam is a system of values, guidelines, and regulations from Allah SWT that were specifically revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW for the welfare, safety, and peace of humanity and the universe.  This system of values and rules covers how to establish relationships with Allah, fellow human beings, and the universe.  And the scientific ethics are manners, morals, etiquette, or the Operational Procedures System, which is one of the  important software instruments, and its existence is vital to achieving the goals of Islamic Education. This journal uses a literature review method, examining the thoughts of KH.M.Hasyim Asy'ari in the book Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'alim, written in 1923, regarding Islam and scientific ethics. Islamic thought and scientific ethics are presented with descriptive analysis. This study shows that KH.M. Hasyim Asy'ari's Islamic thoughts are characterized by traditional Indonesian Islam, which focuses on the Sufism of Al-Junaidi Al-Baghdadi and Imam Al-Ghazali, Theology (ahlussunah wal jama'ah) Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari and Abu Mansur Al-Maturidi, and adherents of the four schools of fiqh and national syiasah fiqh. KH.M. Hasyim As'ari's thoughts contain scientific ethics covering two aspects, namely ethics for educators and students. According to him, the goal of education for every human being is to become a perfect human being,  in order to get closer to the Creator, in order to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter. In the book Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'alim, it is stated that ethical values must be a grand design for everyone (educators and students) or for all people. Thus, a seeker of knowledge embodies his knowledge in his daily life through behavior that is tawakkal (trust in God), wara' (restraint), doing good deeds with the sole intention of seeking God's pleasure, gratitude, and sincerity

Abstract

Methods and methodologies are two fundamental concepts in education that play a crucial role in determining the success of the learning process. Learning methods relate to the methods used by educators to deliver learning materials to students, while methodology is a scientific study that discusses the principles, approaches, and frameworks underlying the use of these methods. This study aims to analyze the concepts of methods and methodologies in education and explain their relationship in improving the effectiveness of the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were obtained from various library sources such as educational books, scientific journals, and academic documents relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the use of appropriate learning methods can increase student engagement in the learning process, strengthen conceptual understanding, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. In addition, educational methodology serves as a scientific foundation that helps educators choose learning methods that are appropriate to learning objectives, student characteristics, and learning environment conditions. Thus, a comprehensive understanding of educational methods and methodologies is crucial for teachers in designing effective, innovative, and learner-centered learning processes. This research provides a conceptual contribution to the development of more systematic learning practices based on educational theory.

Abstract

Methodological debates in the academic sphere are often ensnared in a rigid dichotomy between the positivism paradigm underlying quantitative methods and the interpretivism governing qualitative methods. This polarization creates epistemological barriers that frequently hinder researchers from capturing the wholeness and complexity of a phenomenon holistically. In fact, both paradigms possess significant symbiotic potential to strengthen the validity, reliability, and credibility of scientific findings through methodological convergence. This article aims to deeply map the roots of the differences (dichotomy) from philosophical to technical dimensions, while simultaneously exploring integration opportunities (symbiosis) between the two. By applying a literature study method on various contemporary methodological journals and fundamental literature, the study results indicate that although the dichotomy fundamentally lies in the foundations of ontology, epistemology, and axiology of data, symbiosis can be effectively achieved through triangulation strategies and mixed-methods designs. The study concludes that the integration of both methods is not merely a technical merger of instruments, but rather a manifestation of an epistemological approach capable of providing a more comprehensive understanding, rich in descriptive nuances, yet remaining empirically measurable. The recommendations of this article emphasize the importance of methodological flexibility for researchers in facing increasingly complex social and scientific phenomena in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Scientific publications are one of the important indicators in the development of science and academic quality in higher education. In Indonesia, the indexation of national journals is managed through the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) system which classifies journals based on their quality, one of which is SINTA 6-indexed journals. For students and novice researchers, publication in the SINTA 6 journal is often the first step in building an academic track record. However, many authors have difficulty writing scientific articles that meet the standards of journal publications. This study aims to examine various tips and tricks in writing journal articles and publication strategies in journals indexed by SINTA 6. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various academic sources related to scientific writing and journal publications. The results of the study show that the success of scientific article publication is influenced by several main factors, namely the selection of relevant research topics, the preparation of a systematic article structure, the use of good academic language, and the proper management of references. In addition, the selection of journals that are in accordance with the scope of research and the author's ability to respond to reviewers' comments is also an important factor in the publication process. By understanding these various tips and tricks, the author is expected to be able to improve the quality of scientific articles and increase publication opportunities in SINTA 6 indexed journals.

Abstract

An abstract is a crucial part of writing a scientific article because it serves as a concise summary explaining the core of the research. Through an abstract, readers can understand the objectives, methods, and main findings of the research without having to read the entire article. This study aims to examine the concept, structure, and principles of effective abstract writing in scientific articles. The method used was a literature review, analyzing various scientific journals that discuss the structure and function of abstracts in academic publications. The results of the study indicate that a good abstract generally contains five main components: research background, research objectives, research methods, research results, and a brief conclusion. This structure helps readers obtain a clear picture of the research's contribution. Furthermore, abstracts should be written concisely, informatively, and using easy-to-understand language. Systematic abstract writing not only improves the quality of scientific articles but also facilitates indexing and searching in scientific databases. Therefore, the ability to write abstracts effectively is a crucial skill for writers in producing quality scientific publications.
