<![CDATA[OPTIMIZATION OF VILLAGE POTENTIALS FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS. The community service program through disaster mitigation and community adaptation to utilize land was carried out in Bulontala Timur village. The purpose of this program is to increase the adaptive capacity of the community to support development in the village. The program uses several methods, namely; interviews, field observations, document studies, discussions. The main activities implemented in this program are disaster mitigation and food security programs. Disaster mitigation activities are packaged in the form of socialization and field action. The food security program is implemented in several activities, namely; socialization, community action to plant and providing agricultural equipment. The results achieved in the disaster mitigation program are the availability of early warning signs and evacuation routes as well as the distribution of tree planting locations. The result of food security activities is the availability of yards of people's homes that have been planted with seeds and seeds of spice plants. These two main programs are to support the achievement of indicators on the Village Building Index and Village SDGs in East Bulontala village.]]>

<![CDATA[DEVELOPING WASTE BANK THROUGH UTILIZATION OF TRASH BURNER TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT. KKN is a student learning process through the implementation of various activities directly in the community. Students as agents of change carry an important role for society. Student study service (KKN) are one of the real manifestations of college student service to the community through assistance in training counseling, mentoring, empowerment, and to increase the awareness of the community in order to improve the quality of a healthy environment. One of the problems that exist in the community of Jimus Village, Polanharjo District, Klaten is the lack of public awareness and knowledge in processing household waste. The work program chosen by KKN students is the development of a waste bank owned by Jimus village. The development activities carried out by students include cleaning several landfills, providing innovations in waste processing, to providing technological innovations to process waste. Thus, after the UNS KKN activity ends, it is hoped that the Jimus village community will have a high awareness of the impact of littering and be able to process household waste better to improve the quality of a healthier living environment.]]>

<![CDATA[DIGITALISATION OF TURUS VILLAGE’S. Turus Village is one of the villages located in Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. Turus Village has various kinds of potential in the form of extensive rice fields, various food processing MSME products, service businesses and culture. However, the potential of the village of Turus has not been exposed to the wider community. There is no media that can broadcast the potential of Turus Village. In a community service program entitled Thematic Community Service Program to Build Villages at Sebelas Maret University, we took the initiative to help the Turus village government in managing the digitization of village profiles and their potential. This program includes making village websites, making village profile videos and digitizing village archives. <![CDATA[EDUCATION FOR THE RELEASE OF PASUNG IN FAMILIES WITH MENTAL ILLNESS. Pasung is a restraint for people with mental illness (PWMI) who have not all been handled. The incidence of pasung in severe mental illness shows that 14% have been pasung and 31.5% have been pasung in the last 3 months. Based on interviews with community health center nurses and PMWI’s families, They were said that PWMI had been pasung for 3 years to tens of years. The nurses have tried to provide education to the family but have not succeeded because the family is afraid that PWMI will run away and injure themselves and others. Therefore, the community health center nurses collaborate with the Hospital and Health Colleges in handling pasung. The purpose of this community service is to provide education to the families of PWMIs in the form of releasing PWMIs, treating PWMIs at the hospital, and PWMI's care after pasung. This community service was carried out in Jeneponto Regency on September 18-23, 2020. The method in this community service was providing education and mediation to families. The results of this community service were education and mediation have been carried out for 4 PWMI’s families. Of the 4 families, 3 of them are willing to let go of their pasung and get treatment at the hospital. Community service is important because through this activity, families can be well literate so that the burden on the family is reduced and PWMI has the opportunity to be productive.]]>

<![CDATA[STRENGTHEN THE COVID-19 HEALTH PROTOCOL FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS PREPARING FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING. The global health crisis caused by the COVID-19 disease has had an impact on all aspects of life, including education. Approximately 1.3 billion students in 195 countries were affected by the closure of schools in mid-April 2020. School closures were quite effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, but on the other hand, there were many negative impacts of prolonged online learning. The implementation of health protocols in schools is a very important factor to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in school clusters. This Community Service Program in the form of strengthens the implementation of Health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the school environment when face-to-face schools re-open at the elementary level. This programming method was carried out in September-October 2021, involving the elementary school teachers who held the health promotion school program and the Covid Task Force in each elementary school in one of the districts in West Java, Indonesia. The district has 29 elementary schools with a total number of 316 teachers, which was carried out online in webinars and offline Focus Group discussions (FGDs). The results of the Webinar and FGDs conducted in this activity received a good response from all webinar participants and FGDs participants. The results of the FGDs showed that several problems had to be addressed immediately, namely the lack of training for the COVID-19 task force in the education unit.]]>

The method used in imparting this knowledge is by lecture. And the participants were very enthusiastic. with this EDC machine, considering they have never used it before and the speaker will be happy to help in the process of submitting this EDC machine to the bank. From their desire to use the EDC machine, it can be seen that the community service that has been carried out by the dose tone team is the result even though the process of the EDC machine is in the hands of business actors and will wait for the next process.]]>

<![CDATA[MSME PRODUCT MARKETİNG TRAİNİNG THROUGH SOCİAL MEDİA PLATFORMS İN CİMARGA VİLLAGE, BANTEN. Cimarga village is located in the government area of Lebak Regency, Banten. Partners who become objects are MSME actors, especially the Odeng Honey business, the Lebak Typical Cake business, and the Baduy Craft business. Currently, the development of products made by SMEs in Cimarga Village has not been maximized. This is because the marketing or promotion of their products has not been maximized. The goal to be achieved from this community service activity is to improve the quality of their product marketing by utilizing social media as a means of product promotion. In general, the method of service carried out to partners is in the form of socialization / counseling related to product marketing and the use of IT technology and digital media in marketing products that have been previously developed by partners. Based on the results of comunity service, there is an increase in the understanding of business actors regarding product marketing. For the level of understanding of the definition of product marketing, there is an increase in understanding of 46.7%. Then for understanding the types of marketing mix there is an increase in understanding of 53.3%. Then for the understanding of the use of social media as a means of promotion there was an increase of 46.7%. The team will continue to provide assistance to business actors in Cimarga Village so that their business can continue to grow.]]>

The study of entrepreneurial development is currently being discussed in various forums around the world because it is related to efforts to build the economy on a regional and national scale. The world is faced with a very big problem, namely the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic which of course has an impact on many things, this issue is also relevant to the current objective conditions in Indonesia as one of the countries affected, especially on the economic aspect. Indonesia, which is dominated by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) needs to pay special attention to this sector because the contribution of UMKM to the national economy is quite large. This community service activity aims to explore the entrepreneurial spirit and also increase sales through the use of digital marketing, namely by providing an understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship, marketing strategies, and attractive product packaging to direct practice of making online stores as well as using the web and social media to increase sales. <![CDATA[FAMILY LITERACY EDUCATION PROGRAM IN THE CONTEXT FOSTERING READING INTEREST IN THE KASEMEN VILLAGE COMMUNITY, KASEMEN SERANG BANTEN. One of the alternative programs to eradicate illiteracy is literacy education which is considered strategic and is the basis of knowledge for all human beings (the essential learning needs). the low interest in reading in the community, especially school-age children due to the lack of support and involvement of parents in facilitating children's reading needs, is a major problem so that it is agreed between the proposer and partners to be solved together through mentoring each family in literacy learning, where later partners will gain knowledge (understanding) and experiences that can be implemented in everyday life in the family so that the growth of reading habits will have an impact on increasing reading culture in society. The specific purpose of PKM activities is to foster children's interest in reading by involving parents through family literacy education. The methods used to achieve the objectives of PKM activities are mapping of activity participants, implementation of family education program training, implementation of literacy programs in families, evaluation. This activity was carried out at TBM Ummatan Wasathon and PAUD SMART with a period of 8 months from April – November 2021. Based on a survey on service activities, it can be concluded that the habit of reading by parents in Kasemen village is considered very important to be implemented from an early age. There is support from the institution and the enthusiasm of the participants so that the activities can be carried out properly without significant obstacles. Training participants receive benefits after receiving training in reading strategies and methods for children in the form of increased understanding and experience in implementing reading habits in the family which is expected to create a reading culture in the community.]]>

<![CDATA[IMPROVING ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS OF CHILDREN IN PEMULUNG VILLAGE, CIPUTAT, TANGERANG SELATAN. This community service program began with an initial discussion to identify the needs of children in Pemulung village. Based on the analysis, it was identified and agreed that the community service would be focused on improving English skills for children through fun learning activities. This program aimed to increase the knowledge of children about the importance of English, provide a fun English learning experience for children, and improve their English language skills. The partners of this program were 36 children aged 5-10 years old and six volunteers from Pos Solidaritas Umat (PSU) LDK Syahid. The programs were conducted by the team in four meetings through presentations from the instructor, small group discussions, and English practices. Furthermore, monitoring and evaluation of these activities were carried out at the end of the programs. The evaluation results show that the partners from PSU LDK Syahid were satisfied with the activities in the program. Besides, most children got enough scores on the program's final test.]]>
