Abstract

Penyimpanan dan pengelolaan arsip yang efisien adalah aspek penting dalam administrasi pemerintahan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menganalisis implementasi sistem informasi arsip berbasis web di Kelurahan Kawatuna. Menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan dan evaluatif, sistem ini dirancang, dikembangkan, dan diuji untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan arsip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi arsip berbasis web berhasil meningkatkan kecepatan akses data, akurasi informasi, serta kepuasan pengguna. Tantangan seperti kebutuhan pelatihan dan integrasi data lama juga diidentifikasi. Temuan ini mendukung teori-teori yang ada tentang keuntungan digitalisasi arsip dalam administrasi publik dan menekankan pentingnya dukungan teknis dan pelatihan yang memadai untuk keberhasilan implementasi sistem.

Abstract

Efisiensi dan keakuratan dalam sistem absensi sangat penting untuk pengelolaan kehadiran siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan aplikasi Absensi berbasis Android menggunakan platform AppSheet di SMA N 1 Gaung Anak Serka, dengan menerapkan SDLC metode Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Pada tahap analisis kebutuhan, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi untuk memahami kebutuhan spesifik sekolah terkait sistem absensi. Tahap desain sistem mencakup pembuatan antarmuka pengguna dan struktur database yang mendukung fungsi absensi berbasis Android. Implementasi aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan AppSheet, yang memungkinkan pembuatan aplikasi tanpa pemrograman yang rumit. Pengujian dilakukan untuk memastikan aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi absensi yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan keakuratan pencatatan kehadiran siswa. Penggunaan Android mempermudah proses absensi, mengurangi kesalahan manual, dan menyediakan laporan kehadiran dengan cepat dan akurat. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi praktis bagi sekolah dalam mengelola kehadiran siswa secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

The aim of this training is to provide basic knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and encourage students to think creatively and innovatively in designing business ideas. The focus is to provide entrepreneurship training with a focus on painting to class VIII C students at MTs 4 Sinjai, with the aim of developing a creative and innovative spirit in a business context. The research method used is a project-based learning approach, which allows active and collaborative involvement of 23 students in the learning process. The training process includes several stages, from identifying needs and planning to implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The initial stage of training involves identifying students' needs and their potential through surveys, interviews, and discussions. After that, training planning is carried out which includes determining content, schedule and clear objectives. The results show an increase in students' understanding of entrepreneurship, painting skills, and appreciation of the economic potential of their artwork. Thus, this training succeeded in achieving its goal of developing students' creative and innovative souls for a better future. In conclusion, entrepreneurship training by making paintings makes a positive contribution to developing students' skills and preparing them to face future challenges

Abstract

DBD (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) is an infectious disease caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. DHF cases in the Pontianak area are also quite high, although they have decreased compared to previous years. Various efforts have been made to control dengue fever, until now it can be said that dengue fever is still an epidemic in Indonesia, including the city of Pontianak. The aim of this program is to socialize to the community at Al-Adaby Islamic Kindergarten about how to prevent and eradicate dengue fever in the environment. Method used in the form of interactive counseling, demonstration and evaluation. The appropriate method for preventing dengue fever is by eradicating mosquito nests (PSN) through 3 M (Draining, Covering, Burying) and sowing larvicide and spreading fish in water reservoirs, and other activities that can prevent/eradicate Aedes mosquitoes from breeding. It is hoped that the community will be able to understand the dengue epidemic and how to control and eradicate dengue fever

Abstract

The online loan service socialization activity for students at SMA N 2 Mandau, involving 20 twelfth-grade students, aimed to enhance financial literacy, particularly in understanding the benefits and risks of online loan services. Organized by lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Lancang Kuning, this activity emphasized the importance of using financial services wisely and responsibly. Through presentations, interactive discussions, and case studies, students showed significant improvement in their understanding, as evidenced by survey results indicating an average increase of 30% in comprehension and 40% in risk awareness after the activity. This initiative successfully provided in-depth and relevant education while also raising awareness about financial literacy among the younger generation. The full support from Universitas Lancang Kuning, along with the active participation of students and school staff, was key to the success of this activity.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to provide education on the manufacture and use of lemongrass plants as a drink rich in benefits, which is carried out in Gongsol Village. Providing simple education about the benefits of lemongrass and lemon drinks, where the content contained in lemongrass is able to reduce hypertension, control blood sugar, and strengthens the nervous system, as well as how to make it. The method used in this activity is to provide education about how to make and the benefits of lemongrass drinks to the Gongsol village community, as well as distributing ready-made lemongrass drinks to residents. The result of this service is that people who come to our service stand receive education about the benefits of lemongrass drinks, how to make them and ready-made lemongrass drinks.

Abstract

Currently, there are still many Muslim UMKM who run their businesses not by Islamic ethics. This activity aims to empower UMKM in Lengkese Village by applying Islamic business ethics. Islamic business ethics are expected to guide UMKM in running their businesses based on honesty, justice, responsibility, and balance. Several steps in this PkM activity are: (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, and (3) Report writing. The method used in this service program is intensive training and mentoring for UMKM regarding the principles of Islamic business ethics and their implementation in daily activities. The results of this activity will be an understanding and awareness of UMKM players regarding the importance of ethics in business, which will have an impact on improving the quality of products and services, as well as better relationships with consumers and business partners. Thus, applying Islamic business ethics can be essential in encouraging the development of more sustainable and highly competitive UMKM.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted by the Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps (KSR PMI) Unit at Universitas Haji Sumatera Utara in 2022, focusing on the 5th cohort. The initiative aimed to enhance students' practical skills in emergency response, disaster management, and health services while fostering social responsibility and community engagement. Through training and direct participation in humanitarian activities, students developed critical competencies in first aid, logistical support, and emotional care for disaster victims. The program also strengthened the bond between the university and the local community, contributing positively to societal well-being. This community service project not only provided immediate benefits to those in need but also enriched the students' educational experience, preparing them to be more empathetic and professional in real-world situations.

Abstract

The Water Rescue Training for KSR Members of PMI Serdang Bedagai Regency is a strategic initiative designed to enhance the preparedness and operational capabilities of student volunteer teams in responding to water-related emergencies. This training program integrates both theoretical instruction and practical simulations to equip participants with essential skills in water rescue techniques, emergency medical responses, and the operation of rescue equipment such as rubber boats. Given the frequent occurrence of floods and other water-related disasters in Indonesia, the training emphasizes rapid and effective response strategies to minimize casualties and property damage. The program also focuses on improving team coordination and communication, which are critical for managing complex rescue scenarios. By covering a wide range of potential water rescue situations, the training ensures that KSR members are adaptable and capable of addressing various emergencies. Continuous learning and skill refinement are integral components of the program, ensuring that participants remain proficient in the latest rescue techniques. Overall, this training significantly contributes to the readiness and effectiveness of PMI Serdang Bedagai Regency's volunteer teams, enhancing community safety and resilience against water-related disasters.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role in shaping generations with strong moral character and Islamic values. However, the quality of teaching staff in these institutions often still requires improvement, particularly in understanding legal regulations relevant to the education sector. This community service activity aims to enhance the legal awareness and understanding of the teaching staff at Pondok Pesantren Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Batei Iliek, Samalanga, Bireuen, regarding the regulations governing education, especially within the pesantren environment. The method employed in this activity includes sosialisasis and interactive discussions using a participatory approach. The activity was attended by all teaching staff and was guided by experts in the fields of law and education. The results indicate an increase in the knowledge and awareness of the teaching staff about the importance of understanding regulations to support educational processes that align with legal standards. It is hoped that this activity can be continued through broader mentoring and outreach programs to strengthen the overall education system in Islamic boarding schools.
