Abstract

Abstract Based on observations, the educator's task in order to optimize the teaching and learning process is as a facilitator who is able to develop students' willingness to learn to achieve active and fun learning activities, the purpose of this research was conducted to increase student activity in the learning process. This research was designed using Classroom Action Research. The research instrument used in this research was an observation sheet and field notes used to obtain data or information relating to class situations that were not included in the observation sheet. In this study, field notes were used to observe things that happened in the classroom during the application of the card sort learning method. The results showed that in the first cycle the average student activity was in the less active category. Furthermore, in cycle II, the average student activity has shown the quite active category, however, in this cycle, improvements still need to be made so that researchers use cycle III. In cycle III, the average student activity has shown the active category. Thus, the Card Sort learning method can be recommended to teachers in carrying out learning.

Abstract

Abstract This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class III-A MI NW Kalijaga fiqh subject in Tayammum material. This was known based on the results of the study, namely the number of students who had not reached the KBM (71%). Where in the initial conditions of the pre-cycle, only 20 students achieved completeness (40%), namely only 8 students who achieved KBM and 12 students who had not completed KBM. Researchers are trying hard to make improvements in learning tayammum material through Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Demonstration method through two cycles. The results showed that the improvement of learning using the Demonstration method has been carried out well, this can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I from 20 students to 13 students who have completed KBM, with a percentage (65%), and increased to 17 students with a percentage (85%) who completed the KBM in cycle II. Thus the improvement of fiqh learning on tayammum material using the Demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes. So the researcher decided to end the Classroom Action Research only up to cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe improving students' memory in memorizing lafadz and translation of Surah Al-Qadr through the application of the hand movement method in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith at MI NW Kalijaga. The subjects of this research were 14 students of class VB. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which uses the Kemmis & Mc Taggart (1998) model, each cycle consisting of four steps, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and tests. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the hand gesture method could improve students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects in the Al-Qadr surah material. In the pre-cycle, it showed that out of 14 students, only 4 students had fulfilled the KBM (72%) with an average score of 58.57 and a percentage of 29%. Cycle I there is an increase in completeness to 7 students with an average value of 61.07 and a percentage of 50%. In the second cycle the increase increased to 12 students with an average value of 83.28 and a percentage of 86%.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to obtain information related to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of early childhood learning and the form of synergy that teachers make in providing education to children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach, techniques, data used, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Mulles and Huberman analysis technique which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (levers). The results of this study are as follows: there are several impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic that are most dominant seen in Raudatussibyan Al-Mannan Dusun Bagik Manis on the implementation of early childhood learning including the impact on learning activities at school, the impact on learning activities at home, and impact on changes in children's attitudes and behavior. Meanwhile, the synergy carried out by teachers and parents at Paud Raudatussibyan Al-Mannan Bagik Manis Hamlet in providing education during the Covid-19 pandemic includes synergy in the children's learning process, synergy in the process of evaluating forms of learning.

Abstract

Abstract This article will discuss about social segregation, Islamic education as a media to neutralize conflict. Multicultural Islamic education must be understood as a process of civilizing the principles of democracy, equality and justice oriented towards strengthening human values, togetherness, and peace; and develop an attitude of accepting and appreciating any diversity based on the Qur'an and hadith. Education is part of the duties of the human caliphate that must be carried out responsibly. Islamic religious education can be used as a fairly effective medium, to give birth to a generation of people who have awareness of multiculturalism. The writing of this article uses qualitative methods in the form of library research. The data sources used in this study are literature, both from books and Islamic education journals that have relevance to social segregation and multicultural education. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, the first was text content analysis and social context analysis. The cultivation of multicultural values ​​must start from the family, school, and community by involving all components, which is expected to be able to prevent friction between ethnic groups and between social groups that can lead to social conflict. Thus, everyone must realize that he or she was born from a different cultural background, customs, ethnicity, and religion. Difference is sunnatullah that must be accepted by everyone. Thus, it will give birth to a sense of respect and tolerance among fellow human beings.

Abstract

Abstract This article will discuss the contestation of Islamic Education in Lombok in post reformation 1998. Namely the contestation of madrasas and schools managed by the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Wathan (NW) and the Salafi-Wahhabi community in East Lombok. By using  qualitative approach in the form of library research, this article focuses on discussing some issues: first, the genealogy of the Nahdlatul Wathan and Salafi Madrasas. Second, Madrasas as the basis for the construction of  aswaja and Salafi-Wahhabi ideologies. Third, the pattern of contestation between Nahdlatul Wathan (NW) and Salafi-Wahhabi. This research  shows: First, the Nahdalul Wathan and Salafi madrasas in Lombok were genealogically founded by Middle Eastern Alumni (haramain). Second, curriculum design both in NW and Salafi madrasas uses for strengthening the ideology, identity and militancy of their own group. Third, the pattern contestation of Nahdlatul Wathan Islamic education vis a vis Salafi-wahhabi does not take place formally in madrasas, but uses the medium of mosques and virtual da'wah as well.

Abstract

Abstract The low curiosity of students there are still those who are silent and do not ask questions and the responsibilities of students who are still doing assignments not on time and not active in group work, are expected to raise the character of curiosity and responsibility. Therefore the research emphasizes the formation of Curiosity (curiosity) and Responsibility (responsibility) characters in students through the application of the Outdoor Learning method. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of outdoor learning methods on the character of curiosity and responsibility at SD Alam Al-Izzah Krian Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative using observation techniques, documentation and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using the percentage formula and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) The formation of curiosity and responsibility characters is said to be well known from the percentage of 91.2%. 2) There is an effect of the outdoor learning method on the character of curiosity, this is based on calculations from simple linear regression with a significance value of 0.044 <0.05 and a tcount value of 2100 > table 2040 so it can be concluded that the outdoor learning method has an effect on the character of curiosity. And 3) There is an influence of the outdoor learning method on the character of responsibility, this is based on calculations from simple linear regression, it can be obtained a significance value of 0.018 < 0.05 and a tcount of 2.499 > ttable 2.040 so it can be concluded that the outdoor learning method has an effect on responsibility.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the lack of students' learning motivation in the material of flat shapes. The low motivation of these students is indicated by the lack of student attention to the subject matter so that there are still many students who are often wrong in determining the kinds of flat shapes. In addition, the supporting facilities and teaching aids at MI kebokicak are still very minimal. One of the efforts so that the level of student learning motivation becomes better is to use puzzle props with the demonstration method which is expected to have a good effect on students' motivation in building data material. The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation to work on the material of flat shapes using puzzle props with the demonstration method in class III students in the second semester of MI Kebokicak. The research was carried out using a quantitative research method of multiple regression type and classical assumption test with the help of SPSS 20 for windows using random sampling technique. The focus of this research is to find out; a) is there any effect of puzzle teaching aids on students' learning motivation, b) is there any effect of demonstration method on students' learning motivation and c) is there any effect of puzzle teaching aids with demonstration method on students' learning motivation. This can be seen from the results of calculations using the t-test and f-test, with the following details; a) there is a significant effect between puzzle props on students' learning motivation, this can be proven by the results of the partial test output (t) obtained t count (2,381) shows t count > t table that is (2,028) thus t count is greater from the t table and the standard of significance/probability value (a) (0.023 < 0.050), b) there is a significant effect between the effect of the demonstration method on students' learning motivation, this can be proven by the results of the partial test output (t) obtained t count ( 2.775) shows arithmetic > t table, namely (2.028) thus t arithmetic is greater than t table and the standard of significance / probability value (a) (0.000 < 0.050), c) there is a significant effect between the influence of puzzle props and the demonstration method on student learning motivation, this can be proven by the results of the hypothesis test table simultaneously, the F table calculation is carried out using the formula (F table = N-m-1 = db39-2-1 = db36 with k level trust 5%), then obtained F table = (3,26). The result of the above analysis is that the calculated F value = (12.126), shows F arithmetic > F table (16.665 > 3.26) and the standard of significance/ probability value is (0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

Abstract The ability to think critically is a must-have ability in the digital generation era, more specifically in the world of education. Because it is clear that the most important goal in today's modern education system is how to create a generation that has the capability in terms of critical thinking. Because this ability is a strong foundation in building the nation's civilization in the midst of increasing unstoppable digitalization. So to be able to build and develop these abilities, strategies are needed that can be manifested in the learning process in order to instill critical thinking skills in the digital generation. The method used in this research is literature study by collecting and reviewing library data which is then linked to research to obtain answers to problems. The results of the study show that there are many strategies that can be used to build critical thinking skills in children, especially the alpha generation or digital generation, namely (1) Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategies, (2) Learning with the help of technology, (3) Mobile Learning (M -Learning), (4) IMPROVE Method. These four methods are effective strategies in building students' critical thinking skills in welcoming the current digital era.

Abstract

Abstract The demonstration method is a show about the process of the occurrence of an event or object to the appearance of exemplary behavior so that students can know and understand it in real or imitation. In other words, the demonstration method is a practical method that is carried out by demonstrating or demonstrating to students related to the material or discussion when learning takes place. This study uses library research, using a qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collected is in the form of documents, namely articles or theses of the past five years.
