Abstract

Research that uses quasi-experimental methods to reveal the impact of using virtual laboratory media on visual literacy abilities. This research involved two groups, namely an experimental group that was exposed to virtual laboratory media, and a control group that received conventional learning. Both groups underwent a pretest and posttest to measure changes in visual literacy. This research design uses "Nonequivalent Control Group Design" and applies statistical tests such as the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, and Mann-Whitney Test for data analysis. The results showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group, indicating the effectiveness of virtual laboratory media in increasing visual literacy. This indicates that virtual laboratory media can be a valuable tool for modern education, providing a more interactive and interesting learning experience. This media is an alternative and needs to be developed further

Abstract

This article executes a paradigmatic shift in jinayat verse hermeneutics, reinterpreting Islamic criminal law from punitive legal texts to potent moral education sources. The dominant legal-formalist paradigm, focused on punishment ('uqūbah), proves inadequate for contemporary digital moral crises. Employing a theo-pedagogical framework grounded in Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah philosophy and utilizing Tafsīr Tarbawī methodology, this research demonstrates that Qur'anic prohibitions contain profound pedagogical purposes ('ibrah). Using Tafsīr Tarbawī methodology, this study extracts fundamental principles from verses concerning adultery, theft, false accusation, retaliation, and rebellion, identifying relational ethics, economic integrity, information responsibility, restorative justice, and civic cohesion. These principles synthesize into a three-pillar digital character education framework addressing cybercrime, disinformation, cyberbullying, and online exploitation. The principal contribution is a comprehensive Qur'an-based educational model transforming scriptural threats into transformative lessons, providing robust moral foundations for cyberspace integrity.

Abstract

This article departs from a new anxiety in the world of Islamic law: human dignity is now threatened not only in the social-physical space, but also in the digital space. The deepfake phenomenon has given birth to a form of slander that is so convincing that it can damage reputations, collapse public trust, and even cause economic losses. With a doctrinal qualitative approach enriched by the AIRE (authenticity, integrity, reliability, explainability) digital forensic standard, this study reconstructs the concept of ḥifẓ al-ʿirḍ in uṣūl al-fiqh to be relevant to contemporary digital challenges. The results of the study map the typology of digital slander: sexualization, political manipulation, and financial fraud and classify digital evidence into three levels: valid as bayyinah, just forensic qarīnah, or must be rejected. The analysis of maqāṣid shows that the protection of dignity can defeat the claim of freedom of expression when the negative impact is greater. From this was born new ideas: al-bayyinah al-raqmiyyah as a standard of digital evidence, karāmah al-raqmiyyah, which equates digital insults with qadhf, and the selective application of the principle of sadd/fatḥ al-żarāʾiʿ to AI technology. This article then offers a maqāṣid framework for the protection of digital dignity with four layers: prevention, detection, adjudication, and remediation as a bridge between classical legal theory and modern forensic practice, while presenting a blueprint for the protection of dignity in the digital age

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Appeal and Brand Differentiation on Personal Branding among Generation Z students who actively use social media to build their digital portfolios. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The research population consisted of students from the Office Administration Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with 259 respondents, and data were collected through an online questionnaire (Google Form). The analysis technique used PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3. The results show that both variables have important contributions to the formation of personal branding in the digital environment. Theoretically, this study extends the application of Self Determination Theory (SDT) in the context of personal branding in the digital era. The findings indicate that the basic psychological needs in SDT namely autonomy, competence, and relatedness are reflected in individual behavior when building a digital identity through brand appeal and brand differentiation. Practically, this study provides implications for Generation Z in developing effective personal branding strategies on social media.

Abstract

This study focuses on the challenge of low student engagement in learning, largely attributed to conventional lecture-based methods that lead to learning fatigue, particularly in Pancasila formulation material. This condition underscores the need for innovative learning media capable of creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to examine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the Jejak Pancasila interactive learning media. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE model, involving students of SDN 1 Tribuana in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data analysis included media validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, and critical thinking test instruments. Validator assessments yielded the following percentages: media expert 88%, content expert 95%, and language expert 92%, with an overall average of 91.7%, categorized as highly feasible. Empirically, the mean pre-test score of 60.5 increased to 67.2 on the post-test. The paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, indicating significant differences in learning outcomes before and after treatment. The N-Gain score of 0.158 indicates improvement remains in the less effective category. The Jejak Pancasila interactive media can be further developed as a reference for other subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Active Learning method in improving motivation and the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP NURUL HUDA. The background of this research is based on the low level of students' learning motivation and participation, which is influenced by the dominance of conventional teaching methods that lack student engagement. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and eighth-grade students, and documentation of learning tools. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, member check, prolonged engagement, and audit trail. The results indicate that the Active Learning method significantly improves student engagement and learning motivation in PAI learning. Students become more active in discussions, presentations, and group work, creating a more interactive and participatory learning atmosphere. Furthermore, the Active Learning method provides more meaningful learning experiences, strengthening students' cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects, including self-confidence, courage to express opinions, and internalization of Islamic values. However, implementation faces challenges such as time constraints and varying student characteristics. Therefore, teacher readiness and institutional support are essential for the successful implementation of the Active Learning method in PAI learning at the junior high school level

Abstract

The study of this research aims to examine how the Arabic language practice in MA Al-Falah Tlanakan has changed through the integration of Poe AI as a pedagogical partner, which includes the design of implementation, the impact on students on the affective side, and the design of a learning reconstruction model. Qualitative phenomenology is used in this research with observation, in-depth interviews and documentation as a tool to collect data. Participants in collecting data consisted of school principals, maple teachers and students. The findings in the field show that the integration of Poe AI is systematically planned through three stages, namely technical guidance for teachers, revitalization and optimization of digital infrastructure facilities (rooter, lab, computer and language) and adjustment of Teaching Modules. The results of the integration can be shown through the application of digital muhadastah, AI-based kitabah and insha', as well as Qira'ah Interactive, which actually forms a safe learning space that is able to reduce language anxiety and increase independent learning outside the classroom. The results of this research propose a Blended Poe AI–Human Teaching (BPHT) model that positions Poe AI as a complementary pedagogical tool, not a replacement for the role of teachers
