Abstract

This study aims to understand student perceptions regarding entrepreneurship learning in Islamic Higher Education, specifically focusing on the Sharia Economic Law Study Program. Conducted as a survey, this research involves 121 students who responded to an online questionnaire designed to capture personal, cultural, and psychological aspects influencing perceptions. A regression analysis was used to analyze the data, revealing distinct findings across the three aspects. From a personal perspective, students expressed a strong inclination towards entrepreneurship, driven by the growing trend of youth entrepreneurship, which serves as an inspiration and motivation. In terms of cultural influence, students acknowledged the supportive role of their families, particularly noting that their parents grant them the freedom to pursue careers aligned with their interests, including entrepreneurship. Lastly, the psychological dimension highlighted that students perceive entrepreneurship courses as catalysts for generating new ideas, fostering creativity, and enhancing problem-solving skills. These findings underscore the multifaceted impact of entrepreneurship education, suggesting that exposure to entrepreneurship courses shapes students’ aspirations and attitudes toward career development, personal empowerment, and the entrepreneurial mindset. This study provides valuable insights for curriculum developers, emphasizing the need to integrate practical components that reinforce the personal, cultural, and psychological dimensions of entrepreneurship learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the interpretative strategies employed by tour guides in Takalar Regency to manage cultural specificity as spatially-based tourism content. Utilizing a qualitative and ethnographic approach, the research involved direct observations, interviews with tour guides, and spatial data analysis through Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Key findings reveal that tour guides effectively use interpretative techniques to convey the richness of local culture, including traditions such as Songkabal, Attoana Karaeng, Balla Lompoa, Akkaleo’ Dodoro, and Tradisi Patorani. While these strategies are successful for domestic tourism, challenges remain in attracting international visitors. Mapping tourist movement patterns indicates a preference for efficient travel routes, suggesting a need for more integrated tourism route development. In conclusion, enhancing interpretative content relevance and employing GIS to design optimal tourism routes could significantly improve tourist experiences and promote sustainable tourism growth in Takalar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system on operational and financial efficiency in the manufacturing industry. ERP systems are known to simplify business processes and improve efficiency, but their impact varies across companies. Using the linear regression method, this study measures the effect of variables such as production time reduction, inventory management, productivity improvement, cash flow improvement, and operating cost reduction on firm efficiency. Data was obtained from ten manufacturing companies in Indonesia that implemented ERP systems in the period 2016-2021. The results showed that all independent variables had a positive and significant effect on operational and financial efficiency. Regression coefficients show that reduced production time and improved inventory management contribute significantly to efficiency, with coefficients of 0.452 and 0.328, respectively. Increased productivity, improved cash flow, and reduced operating costs also showed a positive influence with coefficients of 0.378, 0.414, and 0.391. These findings indicate that ERP system implementation can effectively improve operational and financial efficiency in the manufacturing sector, contributing to cost reduction and productivity improvement. This research is expected to provide insights for companies considering ERP implementation to improve their operational and financial performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes community-based management approaches in the Kapoposang Marine Nature Tourism Park (TWAL) as a model for sustainable tourism development. The research examines how local community involvement in managing marine tourism areas enhances economic, social, and ecological sustainability. Using a mixed-method approach, the study combines qualitative and quantitative data, including interviews with stakeholders, direct observations, and surveys of local residents and tourists. Findings reveal that participatory approaches significantly enhance the effectiveness of marine ecosystem management, particularly in coral reef conservation, while also contributing to increased local income. However, challenges remain, particularly in infrastructure development, which limits tourism growth and local benefits. The study suggests strategies for maximizing Kapoposang's tourism potential through inclusive community engagement, addressing infrastructure gaps, and promoting sustainable practices. These insights offer valuable guidance for policymakers aiming to foster sustainable marine tourism and community empowerment in protected marine areas, providing a replicable model for similar regions seeking balanced development.
