Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Tahsin Al-Qur'an extracurricular program in improving the Quran reading skills of students at Budi Satrya High School, Medan. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involves students participating in the Tahsin program, mentors, and religious education teachers as primary informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study show that the Tahsin Al-Qur'an activity significantly improves the quality of students' recitation, particularly in the aspects of tajweed, makhraj, fluency, and understanding of Quranic texts. The interactive teaching approach, repeated practice methods, and personalized mentoring by instructors have proven effective in enhancing students' abilities. Supporting factors for the program's success include students' enthusiasm, mentors' commitment, and a conducive learning environment.The challenges identified include limited time, varying initial skill levels among students, and a lack of learning aids. In conclusion, the Tahsin Al-Qur'an extracurricular program is an effective initiative for improving Quran reading skills and shaping students' religious character. The study also provides recommendations for the management and development of the Tahsin program in schools as part of efforts to enhance religious education.

Abstract

This psychoeducatioal module is designed to provide practical guidance to adults in preventing and responding to child abuse. With a focus on positive parenting and affective communication, the module addresses types of abuse, signs of child victimization, and family-based prevention and treatment strategies. Approaches include individual and group interventions, communication skills training, and education based on current scientific literature. The module also offers evaluation techniques, such a pre-test, post-test, and in-depth interviews to measure its effectiveness. Implementation results showed significant improvements in participants’ understanding, attitudes and skills in protecting children from abuse. By providing practical tools and evidence-based insights, the module is expected to create a safe and supportive environment for optimal child development.

Abstract

This writing is motivated by the very worrying morality of today's young generation. The purpose of writing this scientific work is to determine the formation of students' religious personalities through habituation to religious activities at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely describing a situation or event that occurs in the field. The key informant in this research is the Aqidah Akhlak teacher, while the supporting informants are the school principal, deputy head of student affairs and several students. Then in the data collection process, the author used observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the research concluded that the habit of religious activities can shape the spiritual personality of students at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City. The strategies used in forming the good personality of students at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City are habituation strategies, exemplary strategies and law enforcement strategies. Religious activities that are routinely carried out at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City are shaking hands in front of the gate every morning, praying and reading the Asmaul Husna before studying, midday and Asr prayers in congregation and giving alms every Friday. The ihsan that is formed through the habit of religious activities is: 1) ihsan to Allah: obedience, fear, patience, gratitude, pleasure, honesty, trustworthiness; 2) compassion for humans: courtesy, discipline, helping, appreciating, honoring, cherishing, glorifying, caring socially, and establishing good relationships.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of natural growth at each growth level of matoa (Pometia pinnata) based on altitude in the forest group of Badaro Village, Modayag District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The method used in this study is the survey method, while data collection uses the plot sampling method technique in the research area. The results of the study showed that in the Badaro Village Forest Group, natural stands of Pometia pinnata were spread from an altitude of 300 - 700 m above sea level. The largest number was in the sapling phase with 15 individuals, while the smallest number was in the tree phase with 6 individuals. The number of Pometia pinnata individuals in the seedling phase was 2 individuals at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, 3 individuals at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, 2 individuals at an altitude of 500 m above sea level, 2 individuals at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, and 1 individual at an altitude of 700 m above sea level. The number of Pometia pinnata individuals in the sapling phase was 1 individual at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, 4 individuals at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, 4 individuals at an altitude of 500 m above sea level, 2 individuals at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, and 4 individuals at an altitude of 700 m above sea level. The number of Pometia pinnata individuals in the pole phase was 2 individuals at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, 1 individual at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, 1 individual at an altitude of 500 m above sea level, 1 individual at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, and 2 individuals at an altitude of 700 m above sea level. Meanwhile, the number of Pometia pinnata individuals in the tree phase is 1 individual at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, 2 individuals at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, 1 individual at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, 1 individual at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, and 1 individual at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The distribution of natural growth of matoa (Pometia pinnata) at each growth phase based on altitude is the same or even at each altitude, but the higher the location, the fewer individuals are found.

Abstract

The development of increasingly modern technology causes consumer behavior to like shopping online. The formulation of the problem in this research is how influence Online Customer Reviews and free shipping promotions have on the decision to purchase cosmetic products on the Shopee application for UKMC students in Palembang. One of the features that is popular when shopping online is the Free Shipping Promo, as well as Online Customer Reviews as support for seeing reviews of previous buyers. The aim of this research is to test whether there is an influence of free shipping promotions and Online Customer Reviews on purchasing decisions for cosmetic products on the Shopee marketplace. Respondents in this study were 42 respondents. Based on the research results, it can be seen that: (1) Online Customer Reviews have no significant effect on purchasing decisions (2) Free shipping promotions have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions (3) Online Customer Reviews and free shipping promotions simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions

Abstract

The existence of a guardian in a marriage contract is a fundamental issue in Islamic law. This article discusses the concept of guardian as one of the pillars of marriage based on the views of the Shafi'i and Hanafi schools and its relevance to positive law in Indonesia. This research uses a normative juridical approach with comparative analysis methods. The research results show that according to the Syafi'i school of thought, a guardian is an obligatory pillar in a marriage, so that without a guardian, the marriage contract is considered invalid. In contrast, the Hanafi school views guardianship as an additional requirement, not a rukun, so that adult women can marry themselves. The Compilation of Islamic Law in Indonesia is more inclined towards the views of the Shafi'i school, which emphasizes the importance of the presence of a guardian in marriage. It is hoped that this article will provide a deeper understanding of the role of guardians in Islamic law and its application in the context of Indonesian society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of social media in promoting environmental awareness among the public, considering the increasing awareness of the negative impacts of climate change and environmental pollution. This study has three main objectives: first, to identify the most effective types of content in increasing public awareness and participation in environmental issues; second, to evaluate the impact of environmental campaigns on social media platforms on changes in public behavior and attitudes; and third, to examine the role of collaboration with influencers and environmental organizations in expanding the reach of environmental awareness messages. By using quantitative survey methods and qualitative elements, it is hoped that the results of this study can provide valuable insights for the development of more effective communication strategies in increasing awareness and collective action on environmental issues in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background, Reporting of inpatient service indicators plays an important role in evaluating hospital performance. This study analyzes the use of daily inpatient census data in compiling reports of inpatient service indicators for the first quarter of 2023 at Syekh Yusuf Hospital, Gowa Regency. The data used includes the daily inpatient census for the period January–March 2023 using the total sampling method. The indicators calculated include Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Average Length of Stay (AvLOS), Turn Over Interval (TOI), Bed Turn Over (BTO), Net Death Rate (NDR), and Gross Death Rate (GDR). The results of the study show that the calculation of indicators only uses data on days of treatment and length of stay of patients as the basis for analysis. Reporting is done manually and computerized in the form of tables, bar graphs, and Barber Johnson graphs. However, data utilization has not been optimal because the results obtained are not entirely accurate. In conclusion, the implementation of processing and processing of daily inpatient census data needs to be improved in order to produce more valid and accurate reports”.

Abstract

Family life or living in marriage is a reasonable and healthy hope and intention of every human being in their growth and development. Marriage in the view of Islam is something noble and sacred, meaningful Worship to Allah SWT, following the Sunnah of the Prophet and carried out on the basis of sincerity, Responsibility, and following the provisions of the law that must be obeyed. A prosperous family (sakinah family) is the dream of every person who is married. At all times, efforts to realize this sakinah family continue to be made, because, a sakinah family is not formed by itself, but, must be attempted and through a long process with a long time, let alone for a marriage with a limited time (mut'ah), a family that is built on a contract that is not limited by time (daim) is also very difficult to realize a sakinah family. Differences in scholars in responding to marriage always invite controversy to become a topic that is interesting to study, controversial marriages include mut'ah marriage. In this study, namely discussing the understanding and the fuqoha differing opinions regarding the law of the permissibility of mut'ah marriage. The issue of whether mut'ah marriage is still valid or not is an object of Ijtihad study, because it is a khilafiyah issue. In accordance with the purpose of marriage in Islam in general, and Law No. 1/1974 concerning Marriage, under normal circumstances mut'ah marriage is unacceptable, but in an emergency it can certainly be considered and seen which is greater in benefits and disadvantages.

Abstract

A good and correct orphan management system greatly affects the fate and future of orphans. The welfare of orphans is not only measured physically, but also mentally and spiritually. This study aims to understand the strategies, programs and challenges faced by the Sahabat Yatim Medan Aksara Orphanage and then provide solutions to any challenges faced. The research method used is a qualitative approach method by conducting interviews with caregivers, foster children, and management staff. Direct observation was conducted to see how the rules are applied, the availability of supporting facilities, the physical and psychological well-being of foster children, and the relationship between foster children and caregivers. The results showed that Sahabat Yatim Medan Aksara Orphanage has implemented rules, provided facilities for education and daily needs but still faced several challenges. Overall, the quality of life of foster children has been improved physically, mentally, and spiritually through good management and a comprehensive welfare program.
