Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out the meaning of kato nan ampek in the Minangkabau tradition in the book "Tambo Alam Minangkabau" based on Friedrich Augus Wolf's Hermeneutics. The results of this thesis are: first, Kato Nan Ampek in the book Tambo Alam Minangkabau, this kato nan ampek can be said to be jalan nan ampek in Minangkabau philosophy. So that kato nan ampek becomes the philosophy of the Minangkabau people. Second, kato nan ampek is seen or analyzed based on Friedrich August Wolf's hermeneutics: (1) Grammatically kato nan ampek has a meaning that is associated with the meaning of local culture such as walking. This means that it is adjusted to conditions and attitudes. (2) Historically Kato Nan Ampek does not exist in data that proves when, where, who created the term. But it appears orally which has been passed down from generation to generation or is in Tambo. (3) Philosophically, kato nan ampek has a relation, connection, value with Minangkabau culture, namely raso, pareso, malu, and politeness. Because the philosophy of the Minangkabau people also comes from the term "Alam Takambang Jadi Guru". In the book Tambo Alam Minangkabau by Ibrahim Dt Sanggoeno Diradjo. That kato nan ampek was born in connection with Tambo in Minangkabau which originated from Adaik basandi syarak, Syarak basandi Kitabullah, Syarak mangato, Adaik mamakai, Kawi kato syarak, Lazim kato adaik. This also means that people in Minangkabau understand and know the etiquette and politeness of acting and speaking.

Abstract

In the learning process that is still centered on the teacher, this results in low student learning activity. Because it is caused by the lack of variation in learning models used during the teaching and learning process. In this situation, students only listen and pay attention to the teacher's explanation without any feedback, so they feel bored and sleepy during the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the significant and positive influence of the Scramble Type Cooperative Learning Model on the learning activity of Islamic Religious Education of class VII students at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. This study is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experiment method with a nonequievalent control group design. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, learning activity questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study was 181 students and the research sample was 29, with a sampling technique of random sampling. Decision making is based on the Independent sample t-test, where the data tested were the results of the posttest of the two classes. By using a significance level of 5% or = 0.05, a sig ? of 0.019 was obtained. Because the value of Sig ? <0.05 (0.019 <0.05) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of using the scramble type cooperative learning model on the activeness of learning Islamic religious education of class VII students of SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. So it can be concluded that the large influence of using the scramble type cooperative learning model is 21.4% compared to not using the scramble type cooperative learning model which is 7.1% with an average difference of 12.89.

Abstract

Standard language is a variety of language that is accepted for use in official or formal situations. Standard language is the standard of communication used in the academic and professional world. Its use is important to ensure that the message conveyed is clear, formal, and in accordance with linguistic rules. However, in everyday life, students tend to use non-standard language more often in informal conversations, academic assignments, and discussions on campus. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and inferential analysis methods to determine the effect of comfort, difficulty, and perception of the importance of standard language on the frequency of its use among Statistics students at Medan State University. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 Statistics students selected using simple random sampling techniques. This study aims to analyze the frequency of use of standard language among Statistics students at UNIMED and to see the effect of comfort, difficulty, and perception on its use. The results of the analysis show that the majority of students use standard language in the categories "Sometimes" to "Often", with male students tending to use it more often than female students.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan ajaran Islam di dalamnya terdapat ajaran untuk beramal dan bekerja yang dinashkan dalam kalimat “amal as shalihat”. Etos kerja salah satu unsur di antara tujuh unsur budaya universal yaitu unsur “sistem mata pencaharian hidup”. Sistem mata pencaharian hidup berarti ekonomi. Kerja adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh manusia dalam mencapai kesejahteraan hidup dan apabila malas maka mereka akan gagal memperolehnya. Kesuksesan dan kegagalan adalah hasil dari usaha kerja keras mereka sendiri. Dalam Islam ciri etos kerja mencari kekayaan dunia dengan cara halal, tidak meminta minta,  mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga dan belas kasih kepada tetangga. Sebagaimana Rasulullah Saw., menjadikan kerja sebagai  aktualisasi keimanan dan ketaqwaan.oleh karena itu bagi seorang muslim hidup adalah untuk bekerja. Allah Swt dalam firmannya ingatlah bahwa Allah Swt tidak akan mengubah nasib manusia sebelum manusia mengubah apa yang ada pada dirinya.

Abstract

Online gambling has become an increasingly widespread phenomenon in society, especially among adolescents and young adults. Easy access through digital devices and lack of supervision and education have made online gambling grow rapidly and have a negative impact on various aspects of an individual's life, such as financial, psychological, social, and academic. Therefore, an effective guidance and counseling intervention strategy is needed to deal with online gambling addiction and help individuals in the recovery process. This study is a literature review conducted by searching for articles on Google Scholar with keywords related to online gambling and counseling intervention. Articles that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria are then analyzed to identify the impact of online gambling and intervention strategies that can be applied by counselors. The literature review shows that online gambling has various negative impacts on individuals, namely: (1) financial disruption due to debt and loss of assets, (2) psychological disorders such as stress, anxiety, and depression, (3) social conflict that causes isolation and disunity in the family, and (4) decreased academic achievement due to lack of focus and motivation to learn. Some effective intervention strategies in dealing with online gambling addiction include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), religion-based therapy, individual counseling, group counseling, and community-based rehabilitation. Online gambling has a significant negative impact on various aspects of an individual's life. Therefore, appropriate guidance and counseling interventions are needed to help individuals overcome addiction and restore their quality of life.

Abstract

In the modern era, the increasing number of fashion business actors in Indonesia who utilize Instagram and Tiktok as a means of promotion has created a lot of competition. Thus, business actors must be careful in choosing Celebrity Endorsers to attract consumer interest. Therefore, this study aims to prove the Influence of Celebrity Endorsers and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions for Online Fashion Shop Products in Palembang City. The variables used in this study are Celebrity Endorsers and Brand Image, and Purchase Decisions for Online Fashion Shop Products. The data used is Primary Data. The population in this study is Purchases of Online Fashion Shop Products in Palembang City. The sampling technique used is the Purposive Sampling Method and 100 respondents were obtained for Purchases of Online Fashion Shop Products. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study showed that Celebrity Endorsers have a positive effect on Purchase Decisions for Online Fashion Shop Products, and Brand Image has a positive effect on Purchase Decisions for Online Fashion Shop Products.City.

Abstract

One way students can be successful in their learning process is by achieving high academic achievement. Daniel Goleman stated that only 20% of a person's success comes from academic intelligence; The other 80% is determined by various characteristics, such as emotional intelligence. The current research begins with the general lack of motivation for each student's learning. Apart from that, there are environmental problems around students, inappropriate learning styles, pressure to achieve, and high expectations to achieve a certain level of achievement. This research tests the relationship between two variables X and Y using correlational research methods and quantitative research techniques. The research population consisted of 55 students, and the total sampling method was used to take samples for each student. Through observation, questionnaires and documentation, data was collected. Linearity and normality tests are part of the data analysis, then the product moment correlation approach is used to assess the hypothesis.  After the research data was analyzed and discussed, a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 was obtained. And have a significant relationship. Based on research, the results of the hypothesis test carried out have a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of these calculations show that there is a significant relationship between the learning achievement of students in grades III, IV, V and VI at SD Negeri 17 Koto Hilalang and their emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, perusahaan dituntut untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas dan daya saing di pasar yang semakin ketat. Metode penulisan artikel Literature Review ini adalah dengan metode library research, yang bersumber dari media online seperti Mendeley, Google Scholar dan media online akademik lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak profitabilitas, arus kas operasi, dan struktur modal terhadap return saham perusahaan di sektor food and beverage. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas yang tinggi, diukur melalui Return on Assets (ROA), berpengaruh positif terhadap return saham. Arus kas operasi juga menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan, mengindikasikan bahwa perusahaan yang mampu menghasilkan kas dari aktivitas operasional akan menarik minat investor. Struktur modal yang diukur dengan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), hasilnya positif, di mana beberapa penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori yang menyatakan bahwa struktur modal dapat mempengaruhi persepsi risiko investor dan keputusan investasi mereka.  Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi manajer dan investor tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan investasi dan kinerja pasar saham dalam sektor yang berkembang pesat ini.

Abstract

This study investigates the pedagogical role of translanguaging in multilingual English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms, centering on the perspectives of both students and lecturers, along with the underlying factors that inform these views. Adopting a phenomenological approach, the research draws on data from semi-structured interviews, preceded by classroom observations that served to contextualize the phenomenon and refine participant selection. The findings suggest that translanguaging facilitates deeper comprehension, stimulates active learner engagement, and reinforces linguistic confidence. Nonetheless, Its enactment is mediated by institutional norms, asymmetrical language practices, and a general lack of pedagogical awareness. Participants’ perspectives are further influenced by variables such as linguistic background, language engagement, academic expectations and goals, classroom environment and lecturer practices, peer influence and collaborative dynamics, teaching experience and curriculum policy. These insights point to the pressing need for a coherent and principled framework that integrates translanguaging as a deliberate instructional resource rather than an incidental coping mechanism. The study contributes to the evolving discourse on multilingual education and offers implications for enhancing EFL pedagogy in higher education contexts.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, and morally balanced. This study aims to identify the foundational principles and objectives of Islamic education, which serve as essential pillars in its development. Using a library research method, the study reveals six primary foundations of Islamic education: the Qur'an and Hadith, philosophical foundations, formal juridical foundations, psychological foundations, sociological foundations, and axiological foundations. Furthermore, the objectives of Islamic education are analyzed through six perspectives: Qur'an and Hadith, philosophical, juridical, psychological, sociological, and axiological perspectives. The findings indicate that Islamic education aims to nurture individuals with faith, piety, and extensive knowledge while preparing them for life in both this world and the hereafter. In conclusion, Islamic education plays a strategic role in fostering individuals capable of fulfilling their responsibilities as stewards on Earth and contributing positively to society.
