Abstract

Concrete is a construction material widely used in infrastructure development due to its high compressive strength and good resistance to various environmental conditions. However, in industrial environments, concrete is susceptible to degradation caused by chemical and biological processes, one of which is bio-corrosion. Bio-corrosion occurs as a result of the activity of acid-producing microorganisms that lower the pH of the concrete surface, damage the material matrix, and accelerate corrosion of the reinforcing steel. Industrial areas, such as regions with fertilizer plants and chemical industries, generate emissions and waste containing phosphorus compounds that can affect the durability of concrete. Phosphorus compounds play a dual role: they can accelerate bio-corrosion by serving as a nutrient source for microorganisms, yet under certain conditions they may also act as corrosion inhibitors by forming protective layers on reinforcing steel. This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of phosphorus compounds in concrete bio-corrosion within industrial environments. The method employed is a literature review that analyzes previous studies addressing bio-corrosion mechanisms, microbial activity, and the influence of phosphorus on concrete and reinforcing steel. The results indicate that concrete bio-corrosion is a complex phenomenon influenced by interactions among biological, chemical, and environmental factors. The role of phosphorus is highly dependent on the surrounding environmental conditions of the concrete; therefore, effective industrial environmental management is a crucial factor in maintaining the durability and service life of concrete structures. This review is expected to provide a scientific basis for mitigating concrete deterioration and supporting sustainable infrastructure management in industrial areas.

Abstract

The New Criminal Code (Article 39 of Law of 2023) states that perpetrators of criminal acts who, due to severe mental disorders or impaired thinking, are unable to realize the consequences of their actions, will not be punished. This study examines the application of this provision to murder perpetrators suffering from Alzheimer's. Due to its neurodegenerative nature, moderate-to-severe Alzheimer's disease organically eliminates mens rea, thus fulfilling the grounds for expungement. However, if there is prior negligence (neglect for treatment while still conscious), liability based on culpa can still be imposed. The study found disparities in judges' decisions due to loose interpretations and inconsistent psychiatric post-mortem examinations. It is recommended: (1) official guidelines for the interpretation of Article 39, (2) standardization of forensic examinations, and (3) the application of therapeutic sanctions in the form of mandatory treatment plus security (maatregel TBS) as an alternative to imprisonment, in order to achieve a balance of justice between the protection of ODGJ and the rights of victims.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara Agam with the aim of researching because of the lack of courage of students in asking and answering questions from teachers. In addition, when the learning process is taking place, there are still many students who play with their cellphones and do not pay attention to the teacher who is explaining in front, there are health factors that affect student learning activity, and students are also less motivated and less ready to show their seriousness in learning Islamic religious education. This is due to the lack of use of learning models that have not been able to foster enthusiasm and motivation in students in receiving the lessons given, in addition, the source of knowledge in this learning process is still dominated by teachers so that students rarely play an active role. This study aims to determine how much influence the discovery learning model has on the learning activity of class XI F.2 students in Islamic religious education subjects. This study is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experimental Design design. The sample in this study amounted to 33 people with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample was class XI F.2. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis techniques using the Validity Test formula with the product moment correlation formula, Reliability Test with the Alpha Cronbanch formula, Normality Test Kolmogrov Smirnov statistical test, Homogeneity Test, and continued with Hypothesis Test. From the results of the research and data analysis, the calculation of the t test was obtained 0.0013 <0.005 at a significant level of sig value <0.005 so that the hypothesis stated that there was an influence of the discovery learning model on the learning activity of Islamic religious education students in class XI F.2 SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara Agam.

Abstract

The role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in developing students’ religious literacy in the digital era is highly important and strategic. PAI teachers are not only responsible for delivering learning materials, but also act as facilitators, motivators, and mentors in shaping religious understanding that is critical, contextual, and relevant to the development of information technology. The digital era presents both challenges and opportunities, as students can easily access various religious information through social media, websites, and digital applications. However, without proper guidance, such information may lead to misunderstandings or even radicalism. Therefore, PAI teachers are required to integrate technology-based learning methods, teach digital literacy skills, and instill the values of religious moderation so that students are able to select, comprehend, and internalize Islamic teachings wisely. Thus, the role of PAI teachers in the digital era is not limited to knowledge transfer, but also to building religious character that is adaptive to the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between educational policies and student motivation and academic achievement. In this study, school principals as educational leaders play a central role in implementing policies that impact the welfare of students and teachers, as well as the learning environment. The research method used is a qualitative literature study, with a focus on policy analysis involving curriculum components, education funding, teacher development, and equitable access to education. The research results show that educational policies designed taking into account the social and economic context can increase student motivation and contribute to academic achievement. Reward-based policies, access to technology, and strengthening synergy between school principals, teachers and parents have proven effective in creating a conducive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a business feasibility study in the culinary business of Ayam Geprek Rumahan Ibu Ita located in Medan Timur. A business feasibility study is conducted to assess whether the business is feasible to operate and develop, particularly from the marketing aspect. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including direct observation and interviews with the business owner. The analysis employs the Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) approach as well as the marketing mix strategy (4P), which consists of product, price, place, and promotion. The results indicate that Ayam Geprek Rumahan Ibu Ita has a clearly defined market segment, namely students, workers, and surrounding communities who prefer spicy food at affordable prices. The targeting and positioning strategies are appropriate to consumer characteristics, supported by product variety, competitive pricing, a strategic location, and simple yet effective promotional activities through social media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Ayam Geprek Rumahan Ibu Ita is feasible to operate and has strong potential for further development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning high moral aqidah which is related to student compliance with school rules, but there are still some students who violate the rules and regulations. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching the correlation between learning outcomes of moral aqidah and compliance with rules at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The problem formulation in this research is: Is there a significant correlation between the results of learning moral aqidah with obedience to rules and regulations? This study aims to determine Correlation between learning outcomes of moral aqidah and compliance with school rules and regulations at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The hypothesis in this research is that there is a sufficient correlation with a level of 0.555 between the learning outcomes of moral aqidah with his compliance with school rules at MAN 2 Bukittinggi.The type of research used is correlational research. The population of this study was all class XI IPA MAN 2 Bukittinggi, totaling 149 students from five classes, with a sample of 30 students. This research data in the form of a questionnaire regarding compliance with the rules. The research results obtained r = 0.555 at a sufficient level. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which states that there is sufficient correlation between learning outcomes of aiqdah morals and obedience on school rules and regulations at MAN 2 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Drug abuse among students has become a serious concern, as they are in a vulnerable phase of identity and value formation. The socialization efforts carried out by the National Narcotics Agency of Sidoarjo Regency (BNNK Sidoarjo) serve as a crucial preventive strategy. This paper aims to describe how the educational content delivered in BNNK Sidoarjo’s outreach programs contributes to the development of anti-drug awareness and social values among students. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through direct observation of outreach activities and an analysis of the official presentation material titled Indonesia Darurat Narkoba. The findings show that the outreach materials emphasize values such as responsibility, social awareness, and self-control as foundations for building anti-drug attitudes. The use of interactive delivery methods and narrative-based messages further strengthens students' understanding of drug dangers in everyday life contexts.

Abstract

In the era of digital da'wah, social media platforms such as YouTube have become new spaces for preachers to deliver religious messages. One example is the lecture by Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus titled “Don’t Be Sad, Prophet Muhammad Loves You”, presented through simple animation without directly showing the preacher. This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic rhetoric on the emotions of the congregation in the lecture. The method used is descriptive qualitative through video observation and content analysis of language style, narrative, and audience responses in the comment section. The analysis is conducted using Aristotle’s rhetorical theory (ethos, pathos, logos) and the theory of religious emotions. The results indicate that the aspects of pathos and ethos are the most dominant, through the use of gentle language, stories of the Prophet’s exemplary character, and reassuring messages. These strategies successfully evoke positive emotions such as being touched, calmness, and love for the Prophet. Thus, Islamic rhetoric plays a role in strengthening the emotional and spiritual closeness of the congregation in the context of digital da'wah.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube social media account and its effectiveness as a medium of preaching for the spiritual generation Z. The problem in this study is how effective is Ustad Hanan Ataki's preaching through social media in influencing spiritual changes in Gen Z through the YouTube account @HananAttaki. This study aims to determine the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube social media account in preaching and see its effectiveness. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach by taking YouTube social media. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling on followers of the @HananAttak account. The results of the study show that the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube account as a medium of preaching is quite good for followers because it can influence individual behavior in society such as getting information, insight and entertainment. The effectiveness of the preaching message through the YouTube account @HananAttaqi is very effective because it has entered the thoughts and feelings as well as actions or reactions of followers of the @HananAttak account who are considered passive and only receive the messages conveyed.
