Abstract

The development of contemporary Islamic economics demonstrates a significant diversity of paradigms of thought, particularly through three main schools of thought: Iqtishaduna (Muhmmad Baqir al-Sadr), which rejects Western economic theory and emphasizes distributional inequality; Mainstream (Chapra, Mannan, Siddiqi), which integrates conventional concepts with sharia values; and Alternative-Critical (Timur Kuran), which criticizes the lack of originality of the islamic system. This study aims to analyze the differences in the characteristics of these paradigms, their critical implications for the implementation of modern Islamic economics, and their values in the context of maqasid al-syariah. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach with a normative-empirical literature study, the analysis is carried out through paradigm mapping, critical evaluation, and transformational reconstruction based on the Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic economic literature. The results show a gap between normative theory and formalistic practice in Islamic financial institutions, where the dominance of pragmatic approaches has not fully realized social justice. The study recommends a paradigm synthesis for the development of an applicable, inclusive, and sustainable Islamic economy.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given rise to various new phenomena in the social, economic, and religious lives of Muslims. This condition calls for a methodological renewal in understanding Islamic law that is adaptive to changing times. This article discusses the reconstruction of digital fiqh as an effort to apply the principle of ta?b?q al-a?k?m ‘al? al-naw?zil (the application of legal rulings to new issues), grounded in naql? (textual) evidence, ‘aql? (rational) reasoning, and ijtih?diyyah legal maxims. The study finds that the conceptual foundation of digital fiqh encompasses the values of trustworthiness (am?nah), responsibility, and the prohibition of causing harm to others, as emphasized in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The contextualization of digital fiqh is divided into four main areas: fiqh al-ma‘l?m?t (fiqh of information), fiqh al-mu‘?mal?t al-raqmiyyah (fiqh of digital transactions), fiqh al-da‘wah al-raqmiyyah (fiqh of digital da‘wah), and fiqh al-akhl?q al-raqmiyyah (fiqh of digital ethics). U??l? and maq??id? approaches are employed to ensure that the principles of ?if? al-d?n, al-‘aql, al-m?l, al-nafs, and al-‘ir? are preserved in cyberspace. The main challenges faced include epistemological, methodological, and practical issues in establishing new technology-based legal rulings. This article recommends integration between Islamic scholars, IT experts, and regulators; the development of a digital fiqh curriculum in Islamic educational institutions; and the formulation of a codified Digital Media Fiqh as a guide to cyber ethics for Muslims.

Abstract

This study analyzes the story of Rama and Sinta from the Hindu tradition with a Christian theological approach, focusing on philosophical meaning, sacrifice, and loyalty as universal values. Using the critical hermeneutic method, this study reveals that Rama's sacrifice reflects selfless love that is in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ, while Sinta's loyalty reflects the commitment of Christians to God. This discussion shows the cross-cultural relevance of Hindu narratives and Christian faith, as well as the importance of interfaith dialogue in enriching cultural theology. The results of the study indicate that the values in this story not only contribute to theological appreciation, but are also relevant in the development of value education in a multicultural society. This study confirms that the story of Rama and Sinta can be a source of inspiration for Christians to apply universal virtues such as sacrifice and loyalty in everyday life.

Abstract

This article examines the history of the development of the Naqsyabandiyah order, its teachings, dhikr, wirid and methods. In this manuscript, the process of the development of the Naqsyabandiyah order in Indonesia is discussed and there are several basic teachings of the Naqsyabandiyah order such as huway dardam, nazhar barqadam, safar darwathan, khalwat daranjaman wuquf qalbi and so on as steps to reach the level of makrifatullah. Zikir is an effort to remember Allah by saying the name of Allah to achieve human awareness of his position, zikr is a basic practice in the tarekat in which there is silent zikr done in the heart without sound with methods taught by a musryid that vary according to the capacity of his students, the levels of zikr here are mukasyafah saying the name of Allah as much as approximately 5000 in a day, lathaif 6.000 to 11,000, nafi by saying the sentence Laa ilaha illallah, wuquf qalbi is not negligent in zikr, ahdian always remembers Him, even with the remembrance of closeness to Allah wholeheartedly and tahlil which is zikr with a voice based on the determination of a mursyid.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan kepemimpinan terhadap pengembangan sistem pendidikan dan peningkatan kualitas sekolah. Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor utama dalam menentukan arah dan strategi pengelolaan sekolah, terutama dalam menghadapi perlawanan modernisasi pendidikan. Kepemimpinan yang efektif dianggap mampu mengarahkan pengelolaan sekolah menuju tercapainya tujuan pendidikan yang optimal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergantian kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan, efisiensi manajemen sekolah, serta peningkatan kualitas layanan pembelajaran. Pemimpin yang adaptif dan memiliki strategi visi mampu mendorong perubahan positif yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas siswa akademik dan non-akademik. Selain itu, kepemimpinan yang visioner dan kolaboratif terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru, keterlibatan siswa, serta kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi pendidikan. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pengambil kebijakan pendidikan untuk mengoptimalkan peran kepemimpinan dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan berkualitas.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Pengembangan Sistem Pendidikan, Mutu Sekolah, Inovasi Perubahan Pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of TVRI in maintaining interreligious harmony in Indonesia. As a public broadcasting institution, TVRI is expected to play a strategic role in building and preserving harmony among religious communities within a multicultural society. The results show that TVRI has actively presented programs that emphasize the values of diversity and interreligious tolerance. These programs include coverage of religious activities from various denominations, interfaith dialogues, and educational broadcasts that encourage mutual understanding among religious communities. In addition, TVRI provides space for the representation of all religions present in Indonesia. However, there are several limitations in TVRI’s role, such as the limited duration of coverage related to religious diversity compared to other news coverage, which may cause some audiences to be less interested in watching these broadcasts for extended periods. Furthermore, some programs may lack depth in addressing more complex issues of religious diversity. Therefore, improvements in both the quality and quantity of such programs are needed so that TVRI can be more effective in maintaining interreligious harmony. This study concludes that TVRI plays a significant role in maintaining interreligious harmony in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is titled “The Relationship Between Korean  and Student Character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh,” written by Asqia Rahadatul ‘Aisyi, Student ID 2120163, Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. 2024. One of the foreign cultures influencing student character is pop culture, which comprises cultural elements that gain widespread popularity among the public. This includes music, films, fashion, and other trends that are generally accepted and consumed by many people. Pop culture often reflects mass tastes and preferences and can change over time. Pop culture forms a vortex and current with values that influence society in various ways. This study aims to examine the Relationship Between Korean Pop Culture and Student Character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. The population in this study consists of students from class VIII-2 of SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. This is a quantitative study using purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 32 individuals. The primary data source is derived from questionnaires distributed to the students. Data analysis uses simple regression. Student character is the dependent variable, and Korean pop culture is the independent variable. The results of this study show that: (1) there is a relationship between Korean pop culture and student character, where many students imitate Korean clothing, hairstyles, and language. (2) Korean pop culture has a significant and positive influence on student character, with t_calculated > t_table, namely (3.308 > 2.042) (sig 0.002 < 0.05), thus the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, the variable of student character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh is related to Korean pop culture (K-pop). This means that the greater the affinity towards Korean pop culture (K-pop), the more it changes a student's character at SMP N 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh.

Abstract

The urgency of community counseling practice services has increased along with the growing social challenges that directly impact community well-being. Through needs assessment, outreach, mentoring, training, and the strengthening of social networks, counseling programs can help communities identify the issues they face while encouraging active participation in seeking solutions. Therefore, community counseling practice becomes an essential component in creating healthier, more inclusive, and socially responsive environments. This study employs a qualitative approach, with primary data sources derived from library research. The findings indicate that community counseling practice services represent a psychosocial service approach oriented toward empowerment, prevention, and the strengthening of individual and group capacities within a community. Community counseling does not focus solely on resolving personal problems, but also addresses social, environmental, cultural, and structural factors that influence community well-being. Through community counseling practices, communities are supported in building self-reliance, increasing social awareness, strengthening problem-solving skills, and fostering cooperation among community members.

Abstract

Teachers use learning methods to teach students the subject matter. One of the learning methods is question and answer, which encourages students to participate directly in the learning process and show confidence when giving answers. This study aims to determine the ability of postgraduate students to teach undergraduate students about community empowerment. This study uses qualitative field research methodology as the main instrument to discuss the phenomenon of the research object. This study is very appropriate with qualitative methods because it emphasizes the very natural conditions of the research object and the researcher as the main instrument that determines the research path. The study results indicate the right strategy is needed to improve effective learning. The question-and-answer method used by postgraduate students greatly affects how effectively they learn and the interaction between the two.

Abstract

The global moral orientation crisis constitutes a fundamental problem in contemporary human life, characterized by moral relativism, instrumental rationality, and the erosion of transcendent ethical purpose. Morality is increasingly reduced to pragmatic normative mechanisms detached from questions of meaning and human essence. This article aims to examine the global moral crisis and to articulate an Islamic ethical response through a critical philosophical analysis of Murtadha Muthahhari’s thought. Employing a qualitative library research approach, this study utilizes descriptive-analytical and critical-philosophical methods. The analysis demonstrates that the global moral crisis originates from a flawed understanding of human beings as entities detached from ontological and existential orientation. Through the concept of ethical fitrah, Muthahhari affirms that moral values possess an objective foundation inherent in human nature, thereby offering a critique of moral relativism without negating cultural plurality. Furthermore, the Islamic ethical orientation toward human perfection (kamal al-insan) frames morality as a transformative process integrating rationality, spirituality, and social responsibility. Accordingly, Islamic ethics emerges as a rational, humanistic, and relevant moral framework capable of responding to the challenges of the contemporary global moral crisis.
