Abstract

With much higher speed and capacity compared to previous generations, 5G technology is expected to provide a new paradigm in human interaction and communication between devices. This research aims to describe and analyze the impact and potential of communication transformation with the adoption of 5G network technology. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this research reveal that the implementation of 5G technology has a significant impact on transforming the way we communicate and interact with the surrounding environment. Incredible internet speeds and better connectivity are opening up new opportunities in various sectors, such as healthcare, education and industry. Nonetheless, it was found that security and privacy challenges emerged as critical aspects that needed serious attention. Therefore, to ensure the successful implementation of 5G technology, collective efforts are needed in developing effective security solutions, so that the benefits of this technological revolution can be enjoyed without compromising data integrity and privacy.

Abstract

Recent technological developments, especially AR, have opened up new opportunities for companies to innovate in their marketing strategies. This research will focus on how the integration of AR in marketing campaigns can create more immersive, interactive and memorable consumer experiences. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the application of Augmented Reality (AR) in marketing, user experience and education has a significant positive impact. In marketing, AR creates more immersive interactive experiences, increases consumer engagement, and adds value to marketing campaigns. The use of personalization in the user experience through AR increases the relevance of content, creating deeper interactions between brands and consumers. On the educational side, AR provides an additional visual dimension to learning, facilitating better understanding of concepts. Overall, the research results confirm that AR is not only an innovative technology, but also an effective tool for enriching and improving the way we interact with information, brands, and learning.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information and communications technology, modern organizations are faced with opportunities to improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness through technology integration. This research aims to investigate and analyze the impact of implementing the latest technology in the context of operational management of an organization. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the application of technology in operational management has a positive impact on the efficiency, productivity and quality of an organization's production results. The use of software systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply-Chain Management (SCM) can improve interdepartmental integration, minimize data errors, and speed up workflow. Computerized Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines provide high precision in the production process. However, research also highlights challenges related to initial investment costs, maintenance costs, and risks of implementation errors that need to be carefully considered before adopting this technology. In conclusion, technology plays a crucial role in improving organizational operations, but wise implementation policies are required to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

In this digital and globalization era, the millennial and Gen Z generations are faced with complex social, political and economic issues that require a deep understanding of active and sustainable citizenship. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of citizenship education in preparing the millennial generation and generation Z to face contemporary challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of the research show that the implementation of Citizenship Education is effective in shaping the character of the millennial generation and generation Z. The respondents showed a deep understanding of the government structure, rights and obligations of citizens, and showed positive attitudes such as responsibility towards society, tolerance for differences and active participation. in social or political activities. Citizenship skills, such as argumentation, dialogue, and collaboration, are also visible in their contributions to solving social problems and participating in community development projects. Thus, the research results confirm that Citizenship Education has a positive impact in equipping the younger generation with the knowledge and skills needed to play an active role in society, in accordance with the objectives of citizenship education.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of digital technology, agribusiness as a major sector in the global economy needs to take advantage of this innovation to increase competitiveness and face the challenges of an ever-changing market. This research aims to investigate the impact of using digital technology in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing agribusiness products. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the use of technology in the agricultural sector has a significant positive impact. Mobile applications, agriculture-specific e-commerce platforms, and social media expand farmers' access to markets and increase the visibility of agricultural products. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) help map and monitor agricultural land, while the Internet of Things (IoT) provides real-time information about environmental conditions and plant or animal health. Digital marketing and blockchain techniques increase transparency and consumer trust in agricultural products. Overall, technology integration brings positive change, increases operational efficiency and supports sustainable growth in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Law enforcement in Indonesian maritime areas is an important subject in the context of sustainability of marine resources and protection of the maritime environment. This research aims to explore the opportunities and challenges related to law enforcement in Indonesian maritime areas. The research method used is descriptive analysis by collecting data from various primary and secondary sources using a normative legal approach. The research results show that in law enforcement in Indonesian maritime areas, there are great opportunities that can be exploited, such as natural resource wealth, international cooperation, technology and innovation, as well as investment in the marine and fisheries sector. However, the research also identified several challenges, including budget, personnel, and technology limitations, the rapid pace of technological change, legal diversity, and competition with other countries. To overcome this challenge, a strong commitment from the government is needed to increase investment, training, cross-sectoral and cross-institutional coordination, as well as readiness to face the impacts of climate change and extreme weather. With a comprehensive approach, Indonesia can maximize its maritime potential while maintaining environmental sustainability and improving the welfare of coastal communities.

Abstract

The development of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) has changed the social, economic and legal landscape significantly, especially in the context of the digital era. Artificial intelligence is now an integral part of various aspects of life, including the legal system. However, along with this progress, serious questions also arise regarding criminal law liability in the application of artificial intelligence. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of criminal legal liability that arise in the context of the application of artificial intelligence in the digital era. The research method used is normative legal analysis and literature study. The research results show that in the context of criminal liability related to the use of AI, there are complexities that must be considered carefully. Although AI may be able to carry out unlawful actions or decisions, it does not have the same consciousness or intent as humans. Therefore, in determining the criminal liability of AI, it is necessary to carefully consider how AI can be regulated and held responsible in a legal context. The importance of involving various stakeholders from various fields in discussing and forming regulations related to the use of AI is also a crucial point found in the results of this research.

Abstract

Macarons are simple cakes usually made from egg whites, sugar and almond flour. Almonds and almond flour are not produced in Indonesia, and have to be imported from abroad, causing the price of almonds and almond flour to be quite expensive on the market. Therefore, in this research, peanut flour was substituted for almond flour in making macarons. The aim of this research is to find the right substitution for peanut flour for almond flour to produce the best macaron skin characteristics in terms of water content, protein content, fat content, swelling power and organoleptics. This research used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 repetitions. The treatment was the substitution of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% peanut flour for almond flour at 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60% and 50%. The analysis in this research includes water content, protein content, fat content and swelling power as well as organoleptic tests in the form of color, aroma, taste, texture and appearance of the macarons produced. The results showed that treatment D (30:70) produced the best macaron characteristics. This determination was based on the level of preference for aroma 4.25 (like), texture 4.30 (like), and taste 4.41 (like). The nutritional content of treatment D (30:70) consists of water content of (2.89%), protein content of (5.16%) and fat content of (18.54%) and flowering capacity of (30.02%).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze medicinal products containing macro and micro algae as basic ingredients that are available in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan. The descriptive survey method was used in this research, with data collection through direct observation, interviews with sellers and buyers, and product documentation. The markets surveyed included several representative traditional and modern markets in Medan City. The research results show that modern markets offer a wide range of algae-based products, whereas in traditional markets, these products may be more limited. Consumers in the modern market tend to be more aware of the health benefits of algae and prefer products that have clear certification and quality standards. However, consumer awareness in traditional markets still needs to be increased. Obstacles such as lack of consumer education and limited product distribution are still challenges that need to be overcome. Thus, an effective strategy in developing the market for algae-based medicinal products in Medan City is to increase consumer education, improve regulatory standards and product quality, and expand product distribution more evenly between traditional and modern markets.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meaning of the message in the Shopee advertisement "COD Cek Dulu" using Teun A. Van Dijk's discourse analysis model. This research uses a content analysis approach to advertising content discourse with this research data in the form of pieces of Shoppe advertisements "COD Cek Dulu". The research results show that the advertisement uses a complete advertising discourse structure in the form of a Superstructure consisting of headline, illustration, body copy and signature. Micro structure consists of words, sentence choices and language style and macro structure consisted of the meaning and message conveyed. Shopee's advertising discourse "COD Cek Dulu" aims to inform and persuade consumers about new programs and services from Shopee while improving consumer image and trust
