Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola penyebaran S. frugiperda di kecamatan Sabbangparu, Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei – Agustus 2021. Tahapan penelitian dengan menggunakan survey dan monitoring dengan metode scouting. Pengambilan Sampel setiap area pertanaman diambil contoh sampel tanaman jagung yang ditentukan secara sistematik. Sampel yang ditemukan dilapangan diambil dan dimasukkan kedalam wadah plastik untuk diidentifikasi bioekologi. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa S. frugiperda sudah menyerang tanaman jagung pada fase generatif dan vegetatif di semua Kelurahan dan Desa di Kecamatan Sabbangparu. Karakter spesifik yang terdapat pada S. frugiperda berupa huruf “Y” terbalik pada kapsul kepala dan pola titik hitam pada abdomen (titik empat dan trapesium). Stadia pertumbuhan yang diperoleh dilapangan yaitu stadia larva dan imago. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution pattern of S. frugiperda in Sabbangparu sub-district, Wajo district. The research was carried out in May – August 2021. The research stages used surveys and monitoring with the scouting method. Sampling of each planting area, samples of corn plants were determined systematically. Samples found in the field were taken and put into plastic containers for bioecological identification. The survey results show that S. frugiperda has attacked maize plants in the generative and vegetative phases in all sub-districts and villages in Sabbangparu sub-district. Specific characters found in S. frugiperda are inverted “Y” letter on the head capsule and black dot pattern on the abdomen (four dots and trapezoid). The growth stages obtained in the field were the larval and imago stages.

Abstract

Kacang tanah di Sumba Timur merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan. Dari keunggulan yang dimiliki maka Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura bersama peneliti dan pemuliaan dari Faperta Undana, Balai Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi Pertanian NTT melakukan penilaian dan pelepasan varietas unggulan NTT kacang tanah lokal Kabupaten Sumba Timur untuk dilepas menjadi varietas nasional dengan nama Kacang Tanah Sandle dan pada 19 Mei 2009 melalui SK Mentan No : 2218/Kpts/SR. 120/5/2009 dilepas menjadi varietas unggul nasional dengan nama Kacang Tanah Sandle. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu kebun petani Kelurahan Kambajawa. Sebanyak 4 varietas lokal kacang tanah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesamaan morfologi antara kacang sandle dan kacang tanah lokal pada tipe pertumbuhan, warna batang, warna daun, warna bunga, waktu berbunga, ginofor, bentuk polong, bentuk biji, dan jumlah biji. Sedangkan pada warna biji sama sekali dari 4 varietas yang telah di amati tidak di temukan kesamaan dengan kacang tanah sandle. Peanuts in East Sumba are one of the leading commodities. From these advantages, the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops and Horticulture together with researchers and breeders from Faperta Undana, Center for the Assessment and Application of Agricultural Technology in NTT conducted an assessment and release of superior varieties of NTT local peanuts in East Sumba Regency to be released into national varieties under the names Sandle Peanuts and Peanuts. on May 19, 2009 through the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No: 2218/Kpts/SR. 120/5/2009 was released as a national superior variety under the name Peanut Sandle. The research was conducted in one of the farmer's gardens in Kambajawa Village. A total of 4 local varieties of peanuts were used in this study. The results showed that there were morphological similarities between sandle beans and local peanuts in the type of growth, stem color, leaf color, flower color, flowering time, gynophore, pod shape, seed shape, and number of seeds. Meanwhile, the color of the seeds from the 4 varieties that have been observed did not find any similarity with sandle peanuts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan petani dalam adopsi program Perluasan Areal Tanam Baru (PATB) di Desa Ngargotirto. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode analisis penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan petani dengan tingkat signifikansi 95% secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan petani dalam adopsi program Perluasan Areal Tanam Baru (PATB) di Desa Ngargotirto. Secara parsial variabel umur, pengalaman berusaha tani, dan pendidikan formal tidak berpengaruh signifikan, dengan variabel pendidikan nonformal, sumber informasi, peran pendamping, dan dukungan pemerintah secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan petani dalam adopsi program Perluasan Areal Tanam Baru (PATB) di Desa Ngargotirto. This study aims to examine the factors that influence farmers' decision-making in the adoption of the New Planting Area Expansion (PATB) program in Ngargotirto Village. This research method is a quantitative method with survey techniques. The sampling technique of this study is proportionate stratified random sampling. This method of research analysis is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that factors that influence farmers' decision-making with a significance rate of 95% simultaneously had a significant effect on farmers' decision-making in the adoption of the New Planting Area Expansion (PATB) program in Ngargotirto Village. Partially, the age variables, experience of trying to farm, and formal education had no significant effect, with nonformal education variables, information sources, companion roles, and government support partially significantly affecting farmers' decision-making in the adoption of the New Planting Area Expansion (PATB) program in Ngargotirto Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data penyebaran populasi hama kutu putih Phenacoccus manihoti pada pertanaman singkong di Provinsi Gorontalo serta membuat Aplikasi penyebaran dari hama tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan teknik observasi lapangan dan pembuatan aplikasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada Tahun 2021 di beberapa wilayah penghasil singkong terbesar di Provinsi Gorontalo meliputi Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Kabupaten Gorontalo dan Kota Gorontalo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan data penyebaran hama kutu putih singkong Phenacoccus manihoti di Provinsi Gorontalo dan nilai intensitas serangan tertinggi pada Limboto Barat, Kabupaten Gorontalo senilai 60%. Ditampilkan pada sebuah aplikasi untuk mengetahui keberadaan hama. Selain itu dibuat dalam pemetaan agar mampu memudahkan penyuluh dalam melakukan tindakan pengendalian hama untuk membantu petani. The aims of this research getting data of spread population P. manihoti on cassava land in Gorontalo province and then make application the spread of pest. Methods used is exploratory descriptive methods with techniques of observation field and makin the application. The research was done 2021 in several area cassava largest producer in Gorontalo Province (Bone Bolango District, Gorontalo District and Gorontalo City). Based on the results, get the data on spread of pink cassava mealybug P. manihoti in Gorontalo Province and the higest attack intensity value was in West Limboto, Gorontalo District approx. 60%. Displayed on an application to find out the presence of pests. In addition, it is made in the mapping to be able to make it easier for extension workers to carry out pest control actions to help farmers.

Abstract

Mentimun lokal madura ini memiliki keunggulan yaitu bentuk yang besar dan rasa yang gurih. Benih timun lokal Madura ini mempunyai ciri khusus dibandingkan dengan mentimun Jawa yaitu mengandung air yang cukup banyak dan biji yang sangat banyak. Petani di Indonesia banyak menanam varietas mentimun introduksi karena memiliki buah yang lebih besar dan seragam, akan tetapi benih ini tidak dapat ditanam kembali pada periode tanam berikutnya. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan upaya khusus untuk memperbaiki sifat genetik benih pada tanaman mentimun melalui pemuliaan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan nilai LD50 serta menngetahui dan mendapatkan hasil pertumbuhan dari tanaman mentimun lokal Madura yang di iradiasi sinar Gamma Cobalt-60. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Burneh, Kecamatan Burneh, Kabupaten Bangkalan. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Mei 2021 sampai bulan Juni 2021. Terdiri dari 11 taraf dengan kode D0 tanpa iradiasi (0Gy/ kontrol), D1 (100Gy), D2 (200Gy), D3 (300Gy), D4 (400Gy), D5 (500Gy), D6 (600Gy), D7 (700Gy), D8 (800Gy), D9 (900Gy), D10 (1000Gy). Terdapat 11 petak percobaan dan menggunakan single plant yang merupakan menaman tanpa adanya ulangan di lingkungan pertanaman yang sama dengan analisis uji t taraf 5% dan 1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dosis iradiasi sinar gamma Cobalt-60 mendapatkan nilai Lethal Dose 20 (LD20) sebesar 306,752 Gy dan Lethal Dose 50 (LD50) sebesar 690,92 Gy. Iradiasi sinar gamma Cobalt-60 berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi pada parameter tinggi tanaman, bobot buah dan panjang buah pada mentimun lokal Madura. This Madura local cucumber has the advantage of having a large shape and savory taste. These local Madura cucumber seeds have special characteristics compared to Javanese cucumbers, namely they contain a lot of water and a lot of seeds. Farmers in Indonesia plant a lot of introduced cucumber varieties because they have larger and uniform fruits, but these seeds cannot be planted again in the next planting period. Therefore, it is necessary to make special efforts to improve the genetic characteristics of seeds in cucumber plants through plant breeding. This study aims to determine and obtain the LD50 value and to determine and obtain the growth yield of local Madura cucumber plants irradiated by Gamma Cobalt-60 rays. This research was conducted in Burneh Village, Burneh District, Bangkalan Regency. The time of the research starts from May 2021 to June 2021. Consists of 11 levels with codes D0 without irradiation (0Gy/control), D1 (100Gy), D2 (200Gy), D3 (300Gy), D4 (400Gy), D5 ( 500Gy), D6 (600Gy), D7 (700Gy), D8 (800Gy), D9 (900Gy), D10 (1000Gy). There are 11 experimental plots and using a single plant which is a plant without replication in the same planting environment with T-test analysis at 5% and 1% levels. The results showed that the Cobalt-60 gamma ray irradiation dose obtained a Lethal Dose 20 (LD20) of 306.752 Gy and a Lethal Dose of 50 (LD50) of 690.92 Gy. Cobalt-60 gamma ray irradiation affects the growth and yield of plant height, fruit weight and fruit length parameters on Madura local cucumbers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usaha pengolahan sagu di Kelurahan Jaya Kecamatan Tellu Wanua Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Jaya Kecamatan Tellu Wanua Kota Palopo.Waktu penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan yakni bulan April s/d Mei 2021.Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara sensus karena semua populasi merupakan pelaku usaha pengolahan sagu yang berjumlah 13 orang responden.Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis pendapatan dan analisis kelayakan usaha yaknianalisis R/C Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan pelaku usaha pengolahan sagu di Kelurahan Jaya Kecamatan Tellu Wanua Kota Palopo sebesar Rp 6.553.042,- per bulan. Analisis R/C ratio diperoleh nilai 1,18 maka usaha pengolahan sagu dikatakan menguntungkan atau layak dikembangkan. This study aims to analyze the income of the sago processing business in Jaya Village, Tellu Wanua District, Palopo City. This research was conducted in Jaya Village, Tellu Wanua District, Palopo City. The time of this research was carried out for two months, namely April to May 2021.The location of the research was determined by purposive sampling. The sample determination was carried out by census because all of the population were sago processing business actors, totaling 13 respondents.Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The data analysis method uses income analysis and business feasibility analysis, namely R/C Ratio analysis. The results showed that the average income of sago processing business actors in Jaya Village, Tellu Wanua District, Palopo City was IDR 6,553,042,- per month. Analysis of the R/C ratio obtained a value of 1.18 then the sago processing business is said to be profitable or feasible to be developed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama pengeringan terhadap karakteristik fisikokimia dan tingkat penerimaan panelis terhadap pisang sale yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah pengeringan 28 jam, pengeringan 35 jam, pengeringan 42 jam, pengeringan 49 jam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi kadar air, gula total, kadar abu dan uji organoleptik terhadap warna, rasa, aroma, dan tekstur pada pisang sale. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), apabila ada beda nyata dipakai uji lanjut BNJ pada tarif 1%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lama pengeringan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap kadar air, kadar abu dan gula total. Uji tingkat kesukaan terhadap warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur yang paling disukai oleh panelis adalah perlakuan A1 pengeringan 28 jam. This study aims to determine the effect of drying time on the physicochemical characteristics and the level of panelists' acceptance of the banana sale produced. This research was conducted using 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments in question are drying 28 hours, drying 35 hours, drying 42 hours, drying 49 hours. Parameters observed included water content, total sugar, ash content and organoleptic tests on color, taste, aroma, and texture on sale bananas. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), if there was a significant difference, the BNJ further test was used at a rate of 1%. The results of this study indicate that drying time has a very significant effect on water content, ash content and total sugar. The test of the level of preference for color, aroma, taste and texture that was most favored by the panelists was the A1 treatment of 28 hours drying.

Abstract

Corn is one type of food crop known by many people because corn is one of the staple food ingredients with a variety of processed foods. In addition, corn can also be used as animal feed. There are many factors that affect the sustainability of corn cultivation. The purpose of this study were: (1) analyzing the sustainability of corn cultivation in Herlang of Bulukumba district; (2) analyzing the sensitive attributes to the sustainability of corn cultivation in Herlang of Bulukumba district. Based on the results of the analysis, the sustainability index value of corn cultivation were: ecological dimension 61.10%, social and cultural dimension 53.73% with a quite sustainable category, while the economic dimension is 40.15%. infrastructure and technology dimensions 44.12% and legal and institutional 44.59% with less sustainable categories. The results of the analysis of leverage 51 attributes, there are 17 sensitive attributes that affect the sustainability of corn in Herlang district, Bulukumba regency. Improvement of attributes, especially sensitive attributes, can improve corn sustainability index.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi alih fungsi lahan sawah menjadi perkebunan kelapa sawit di Desa Polongaan Kecamatan Tobadak Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Polongaan Kecamatan Tobadak Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah dengan jumlah sampel 45 responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan penggunaan lahan di Desa Polongaan Kecamatan Tobadak Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah adalah pendidikan, pendapatan, usia dan luas tanah. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa koefisien regresi variabel bebas tingkat pendidikan (X1 = 0,003), pendapatan (X2 = 0,002), luas tanah (X3 = -0,010) dan usia (X4 = -0,001) sedangkan koefisien regresi (konstan) adalah -0,239 sehingga persamaan regresi diperoleh hasil persamaan koefisien regresi sebagai berikut: Y = -0,239 + 0,003 X1 + 0,002 X2 + -0,010 X3 - 0,001X4. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t, faktor pendapatan berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap konversi perkebunan kelapa sawit di Desa Polongaan Kecamatan Tobadak Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah dengan membandingkan sig t dengan alpha (0,05) masing-masing variabel bebas. Hasil analisis uji-F terlihat bahwa nilai F-hitung lebih besar dari pada F-tabel dengan nilai signifikansi 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas (pendidikan, pendapatan, usia dan luas tanah) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap alih fungsi lahan di Desa Polongaan Kecamatan Tobadak Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah. The purpose of this study was to analyze what factors influenced the conversion of paddy fields to oil palm plantations in Polongaan Village, Tobadak District, Central Mamuju Regency. This research was conducted in the Polongaan Village, Tobadak District, Central Mamuju Regency with a sample size of 45 respondents using purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the factors affecting land use change in Polongaan Village, Tobadak District, Mamuju Tengah Regency were education, income, age and land area. Statistical test results show that the regression coefficient of the independent variable education level (X1 = 0.003), income (X2 = 0.002), land area (X3 = -0.010) and age (X4 = -0.001) while the regression coefficient (constant) is -0.239 so regression equations obtained the results of the regression coefficient equation as follows: Y = -0.239 + 0.003 X1 + 0.002 X2 + -0.010 X3 - 0.001X4. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the income factor has a very significant influence on the conversion of oil palm plantations in the Polongaan Village, Tobadak District, Mamuju Tengah Regency by comparing sig t to alpha (0.05) of each independent variable. The results of the F-test analysis show that it appears that the F-calculated value is greater than the F-table with a significant value of 0.05. This shows that the independent variables (education, income, age and land area) jointly affect the transfer of land functions in Polongaan Village, Tobadak District, Mamuju Tengah Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi jagung (Zea mays) di Desa Losso Kecamatan Sampaga Kabupaten Mamuju. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian untuk mengetahui kebenaran hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis data regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan secara parsial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produksi petani jagung di Desa Losso Kecamatan Sampaga Kabupaten Mamuju karena nilai probabilitasnya 0,000<0,05 dengan hasil uji t sebesar 4,730. Dalam model regresi koefisien X1 luas lahan (LL) diperoleh nilai 1,013, dimana setiap penambahan luas lahan sebesar 1% maka akan terjadi kenaikan hasil produksi sebesar 1,013% dengan asumsi jumlah modal dan tenaga kerja tetap. Sementara modal tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produksi petani jagung. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji t sebesar (1.168) dengan nilai probabilitas 0,257 koefisien X2 modal (M) sebesar (0,280) yang berarti setiap penambahan modal sebesar 1% maka akan terjadi kenaikan hasil produksi sebesar (0,280)%, dengan asumsi luas lahan dan tenaga kerja tetap.Variabel tenaga kerja, secara parsial tidak berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi petani jagung ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t sebesar 1,303 dengan nilai probabilitas 0,208. Koefisien X3 tenaga kerja (TK) sebesar 0,204, dimana setiap penambahan tenaga kerja sebesar 1% maka akan terjadi kenaikan hasil produksi sebesar 0,204%, dengan asumsi luas lahan dan modal tetap. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the level of maize production (zea mays) in Losso Village, Sampaga District, Mamuju Regency. The method used in this study to determine the truth of the hypothesis in this study is the method of multiple linear regression data analysis. The results showed that the variable of land area partially has a significant effect on the production of corn farmers in Losso Village, Sampaga District, Mamuju Regency because the probability value is 0.000 <0.05 with the t test result of 4.730. In the regression model the coefficient of X1 (land area) is obtained a value of 1.013, where each additional land area of ​​1%, there will be an increase in production yields of 1.013% assuming the amount of capital and permanent labor. While capital does not have a significant effect on the production of corn farmers, this is evidenced by the results of the t test of (1.168) with a probability value of 0.257.The X2 coefficient of capital (M) is (0.280) which means that every 1% increase in capital will result in an increase in production yields of (0.280)%, with the assumption of fixed land area and labor. The labor variable partially does not have a positive and significant effect on the production of corn farmers as indicated by the t test results of 1.303 with a probability value of 0.208. The X3 coefficient of Labor (TK) is 0.204, where every 1% addition of labor, there will be an increase in production output of 0.204%, assuming land area and fixed capital.
