Abstract

At Café Kedai Siring, location was found to affect purchasing decisions. The café’s position near a quiet beach but far from residential areas increases parking security risks, while service quality was considered lacking due to long service times, order errors, and limited facilities. This study analyzes the effects of café atmosphere, location, and service quality on repurchase intention, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research used a quantitative approach with 99 respondents selected through simple random sampling, and data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that café atmosphere, location, and service quality significantly influenced customer satisfaction. Café atmosphere and location had a significant positive effect on repurchase intention, while service quality had a positive but not significant effect. Customer satisfaction itself had a significant effect on repurchase intention and mediated the influence of café atmosphere, location, and service quality on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Bureaucratic reform is a strategic step to create better, more transparent, and accountable governance. The main goal is to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of public services in order to optimally meet the needs of the community. This reform includes updating the institutional structure, work processes, and developing the capacity and integrity of ASN. Improving ASN professionalism is the main pillar, with training programs, competency development, and merit-based performance evaluations. A fair reward and punishment system is also implemented to encourage better performance. This study examined the influence of work motivation, work culture, and work environment on the performance of non-medical civil servants (ASN) at Dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo Regional Hospital, with work discipline as an intervening variable. Using PLS-SEM analysis on data from 96 employees, the results showed that work motivation and work culture significantly improved work discipline, while the work environment had a negative (but insignificant) effect. Although none of the three factors directly enhanced employee performance, work discipline itself had a significant positive impact. Importantly, work motivation and work environment indirectly boosted performance through work discipline, whereas work culture did not show a significant mediating effect. These findings suggest that fostering discipline, motivation, and a supportive work environment rather than work culture alone can effectively enhance employee performance in non-medical hospital settings.

Abstract

Financial management has a significant role in creating company value, especially in the property and real estate sector, which is known for its high asset value. This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Price to Book Value (PBV) on the stock price of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and test the moderating role of Earning Per Share (EPS) in the relationship between the two financial ratios. The population in this study involved all property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling based on specific criteria during the research period. Data analysis was carried out with a Structural Equation Modeling approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) using Smart PLS 3. 0 software. The results of the hypothesis analysis show that both the debt-to-equity ratio (DER) and price-to-book value (PBV) significantly and positively affect stock prices. However, earnings per share (EPS) have not been proven to moderate the relationship between debt-to-equity ratio and stock price. On the other hand, Earnings Per Share is a significant amplifier of the positive relationship between Price to Book Value and Stock price.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Earnings Per Share, Price to Earnings Ratio, and Return on Assets on Stock Returns with Dividend Policy as an Intervening Variable in Commercial Bank Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price to Earnings Ratio (PER), and Return on Assets (ROA) on stock returns and dividend policy, as well as the mediating role of stock returns in this relationship. The analysis method used path analysis with hypothesis testing based on the path coefficient, T-statistic, and p-value. The results showed that EPS had a positive and significant effect on stock returns (coefficient = 0.572; p-value = 0.000), while PER and ROA had no significant effect. Furthermore, stock returns were shown to have a very strong effect on dividend policy (coefficient = 0.993; p-value = 0.000). Mediation analysis revealed that stock returns fully mediated the relationship between EPS and dividend policy (indirect effect = 0.568; p-value = 0.000), but did not mediate the relationship between PER and ROA and dividend policy. This finding implies that increasing EPS can drive higher stock returns, which ultimately influences a company's dividend policy. Meanwhile, PER and ROA did not have a significant impact either directly or indirectly.

Abstract

Qualified human resources (HR) possess the knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes necessary for effective job performance. Organizations must take strategic steps to develop and enhance the quality of their human resources. One such strategy is through training programs that enable employees to acquire new knowledge and values, thereby enhancing their abilities and professionalism in performing their duties. Village governments still face various challenges in fulfilling their primary roles. These include a low level of education among village apparatus, the inability of some village officials to perform their duties—leading them to delegate responsibilities to others—and low levels of work discipline, which have become a public concern. Many village officials regularly arrive late to the office, thus hindering public service delivery. This study aims to examine the influence of education, competence, and work discipline on performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in Karang Sengon Village, Klabang Village, and Blimbing Village, Klabang Sub-district, Bondowoso Regency. The sample was determined using a complete sampling technique, comprising 34 village apparatus members (excluding leadership). Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). The hypothesis test results using SmartPLS 3.0 indicate that education has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction; competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; work discipline has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction; education, competence, and work discipline each have a positive but not significant effect on performance; job satisfaction also has a positive but not significant effect on performance. Furthermore, education, competence, and work discipline each have a positive but not significant effect on performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Competition in the culinary sector is becoming increasingly intense, including in areas such as Bondowoso. Traditional food stalls like Rawon and Soto Banyuwangi play an important role in attracting customers through their distinctive taste and local cultural uniqueness. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, price, and taste on customer satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through purchase decision as an intervening variable. The sampling technique was conducted through questionnaire distribution. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) approach. The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using SmartPLS 3.2.8 application show that service quality has a significant positive effect on purchase decision, price has a significant positive effect on purchase decision, while taste has a positive but not significant effect on purchase decision. Furthermore, service quality has a positive but not significant effect on customer satisfaction, price has a positive but not significant effect on customer satisfaction, and taste has a negative and not significant effect on customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, purchase decision has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis testing indicate that service quality has a significant positive effect on purchase decision through customer satisfaction, price also has a significant positive effect on purchase decision through customer satisfaction, while taste has a positive but not significant effect on purchase decision through customer satisfaction.
