Abstract

Ekstrak daun kelor dibuat dalam sediaan masker gel peel – off dengan konsentrasi 10% dan 15%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Akademi Farmasi Makassar. Lalu dilakukan pengujian aktivitas antibakteri masker gel peel – off ekstrak daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dengan metode sumuran dan Medium Agar (NA) sebagai media bakteri kemudian diinkubasi selama 1x24jam pada suhu 37oC. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengamatan dengan mengukur zona hambat yang terjadi pada setiap konsentrasi sediaan pada bakteri Staphylococcus epidermidis. Didapatkan hasil zona hambat konsentrasi 10% berdiameter 6,64 mm dan pada konsentrasi 15% menunjukkan diameter 8,68 mm dengan hasil penghambatan bakteri kategori sedang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Masker gel peel – off ekstrak daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus epidermidis pada konsentrasi 10% dan 15% terbukti dengan terbentuknya zona hambat disekitar lubang sumuran uji, yang paling efektif dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri adalah pada konsentrasi 15%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the fruit flesh extract of Kecapi (Sandoricum koetjape) on reducing total cholesterol levels in mice (Mus muscullus). The research design used was an experimental laboratory which was carried out at the Pharmacology Laboratory of the Pancasakti University Makassar. This study used 15 male mice which were divided into 5 treatment groups, each group consisted of 3 mice. Test animals were fasted for 3-4 hours before treatment, all groups were given Propylthiouracil 0.4761% for 10 days. Then on the 10th day, cholesterol levels were checked after being induced. After that, treatment was given, namely, group I was given Na CMC as a negative control, group II was given simvastatin suspension as a comparison, group III was given harp fruit pulp extract with a concentration of 0.014% w/v, group IV was given harp fruit pulp extract with a concentration of 0.0285 %,, group V was given harp fruit pulp extract with a concentration of 0.057%. The process of reducing total cholesterol was observed on the 9th day. The results showed that the statistical test showed a significantly different effect (P<0.05) where the harp fruit pulp extract had a significant effect, which means that there was a cholesterol-lowering effect in mice. The highest concentration of harp fruit pulp extract in reducing total cholesterol levels in mice was at a concentration of 0.057% w/v compared to concentrations of 0.028% w/v and 0.014% w/v, because it provided the largest reduction in cholesterol levels, namely 53.74%.

Abstract

Level of Knowledge of Antibiotic Use with Doctor's Prescription at Devan Pharmacy, Gowa Regency. A study was conducted on the Level of Knowledge of Antibiotic Use with Prescription at Devan Pharmacy, Gowa Regency in May - June 2022. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the Level of Knowledge of Antibiotic Use with Prescription at Devan Pharmacy, Gowa Regency in 2022. This type of research is descriptive research using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The sample in this study were patients who wanted to buy antibiotics at the Devan pharmacy, Gowa Regency, totaling 30 people. The results showed that the level of knowledge of using antibiotics with a doctor's prescription at Devan Pharmacy was in the good enough category, namely (57%)

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the manufacture and quality test of the peel off gel mask preparation from papaya juice (Carica papaya L.) Moringa leaves were taken from the home garden area on Jl. Bontoduri 6 N0.14 C, then made papaya juice, after the juice was produced. fruit. Then made a mask base, then added papaya juice. And carried out ornanoleptic testing, pH, dry time, and homogeneity. The results showed that the pH with a concentration of 15% = 6.14 Concentration of 20% = 6.24. Testing Dry time where the concentration of 15% = 20 minutes and 20% = 24 minutes. Organoleptic testing of simplicia is thick, orange in color, has no odor. And testing the homogeneity of both concentrations is homogeneous

Abstract

Management of pharmaceutical supplies is a system that plays an important role in improving pharmaceutical services. Management of pharmaceutical supplies is a cycle of activities starting from planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, control, recording, and reporting, deletion, monitoring and evaluation. In the management of pharmaceutical supplies, one of the important things that is very influential is the reception and storage of pharmaceutical supplies. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using a system of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the acceptance at the Asyura Medika Pharmacy reaches a percentage of 86% and storage reaches a percentage of 100% including the very good category so that it can be said that the receipt and storage is in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar asam asetat dan alkohol pada apel manalagi (Malus Sylvestris Mill) Berdasarkan Variasi Waktu Fermentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Gas Chromatography Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kromatografi gas-spektrometri massa (GC-MS) dengan sampel apel manalagi yang dicuci bersih dengan air kemudian dikukus selama 15 menit setelah dingin ditambahkan ragi Saccharomyces cerevisiae setelah itu dimasukkan ke dalam toples dan ditutup rapat difermentasikan selama 5, 9, 13 dan hari ke 15. Kemudian hasil cairan yang difermentasi diukur menggunakan alat Kromatografi gas-Spektrometri masssa (GC-MS). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh kromatografi gas-spektrometri massa dengan perhitungan terjadi peningkatan kadar asam asetat pada hari ke 5, hari ke 9, hari ke 13 secara berturut turut adalah 1,73 %, 2,18 %, 3,12 % dan terjadi penurunan kadar asam asetat pada hari ke 15 yaitu 0,26 % dan terjadi peningkatan kadar alcohol 2,84 %, 4,80 %, 12,73 % dan 99,.74 % yang disebabkan semakin lama terjadi fermentasi sehingga tidak terjadinya over oxidizing atau over oksidasi.

Abstract

Miana leaves (Coleus Scutellarioides L.) is one of the plants that are often used as an ornamental plant and herbal medicine, this plant is widely distributed in the Asian region. Miana leaves are often used as traditional medicines for responders such as angina, antioxidants, antibacterials and ulcers. Miana leaves have ingredients such as essential oils, carvacol, flavonoids, tannins, ethyl salicylates and oxalic acid. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of miana leaf ethanol extract cream (Coleus Scutellarioides L.) against propionibacterium acnes bacteria. This research was conducted using the laboratory experimental research method. In the preparation of cream extract ethanol miana leaves (Coleus scutellarioides L.) with a concentration of 15%, 10%, 5%, respectively. Testing was carried out on propionibacterium acnes bacteria using the paper disk diffusion method. Based on the results of research, miana leaf ethanol extract cream (Coleus Scutellarioides L) is less able to inhibit the growth of propionibacterium acnes bacteria.

Abstract

Penyakit TB ini masih menjadi kasus yang perlu diperhatikan penanggulangannya, sehingga untuk mengoptimalkannya dibuatlah sebuah standar pedoman Penanggulangan TB Nasional oleh Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia yang kemudian menjadi acuan (guideline) bagi para tenaga kesehatan di unit-unit pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat (Puskesmas) di Indonesia.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kerasionalan Peresepan obat Pasien yang Menderita TB tahun 2020 di Puskemas Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pengambilan data secara retrospektif melalui Resep Pasien TBC di Puskesmas Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa tahun 2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah resep rawat jalan pasien TB di Puskesmas Bajeng tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian atau perezepan obat TB sudah rasional sesuai dengan pedoman pengobatan pasien TB. obat untuk kategori 1 fase intensif diberikan (2R/H/Z/E) fase lanjutan (4R/H) dengan jumlah pasien 114 orang (86,50%) Untuk kategori 2 awal diberikan (3R/H/Z/E/S) fase lanjutan (5R/H/Z/E/S) berjumlah pasien 8 orang (6,34%), Untuk kategori anak fase awal diberikan (2R/H/Z) fase lanjutan kategori anak (4R/H) berjumlah 2 orang (1,59%). Untuk kategori resisten obat fase awal (6KM inj/H/Z/E/CPZ/MFX) fase lanjutan (3H/Z/E/CPZ/MFX) berjumlah 2 orang (1,59%)

Abstract

Yellow Bamboo Leaf is a plant that is known to have anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic and anti-ulcer properties. Phytochemical screening in previous studies, ethanol extract of yellow bamboo leaves contains flavonoids, polyphenols, triterpenoids and saponins. The purpose of this study was to make herbal preparations and test the physical quality of the herbal preparations of yellow bamboo leaves. This research method is an experimental laboratory by making herbal preparations of yellow bamboo leaves with a concentration of 2.5%, then tested for physical quality. The quality requirements of the results showed that the yellow bamboo leaf herbal tea met the requirements of good physical quality, including: the state of the steeping water test including the color, smell and taste showed "Typical Tea Products"; water content 6.7% w/w < 8% w/w, and extract content in water 18.03% w/w < 32%, the results of this study have met the requirements of a good physical quality test according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) except the extract content in air.
