Abstract

The BULAN BINTANG (Fostering and Overcoming Bullying in Children) is an application used to find out cases of bullying between students at SMP Negeri 2 Ubud. This application utilizes Sociometery to detect social gaps between students by filling in questionnaires given by the guidance and counseling teacher in each class. The sociometric questionnaire contains the selection of 2 people who are liked in the class and 2 students who are not liked in the class along with their permission. The results of the sociometric questionnaire will be processed using the k-means clustering method to group students who are liked (popular) and students who are not liked (isolated). The results of student grouping will then be processed using the graph method. The graph methods used are directed graphs, combined graphs, weighted graphs and color graphs. From the color graph process, it can be indicated which students are speculated to be potential bullies and targets of bullying. From implementing the k-means clustering and graph method in the BULAN BINTANG application, the BK teacher received 95% satisfaction from the respondents and then obtained an accuracy of 80% matching data for problematic students.

Abstract

Understanding the modular structure of source code is a major challenge in software maintenance. Clustering classes into modules can assist reverse engineering, but its effectiveness depends on feature selection. This study compares the contribution of structural and semantic features to the cohesion of clustering results. Five projects developed using an object-oriented approach of varying sizes are used as test cases. K-means is run 50 times for each scenario, with the number of clusters fixed to the number of original packages. Structural features produce clusters with the highest internal cohesion across all projects, but their alignment with original packages is low. In contrast, semantic features yield very low internal cohesion; however, on three projects they are statistically more aligned with original packages compared to structural features. Feature combination does not provide meaningful improvement; semantic features tend to reduce cohesion without increasing package alignment. These findings indicate that no single feature type is universally best; feature selection must consider project characteristics and the intended goal

Abstract

Customer segmentation is an essential strategy for understanding customer behavior and supporting effective customer relationship management. However, many customer segmentation studies focus primarily on grouping customers based on behavioral characteristics without considering the economic value of each customer segment. This study proposes a customer segmentation framework that integrates the Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (LRFM) model, Self-Organizing Maps (SOM), and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) analysis to provide a more comprehensive understanding of customer behavior and value. The study utilized customer transaction data from PT XYZ consisting of 11,233 transaction records involving 7,937 customers during the 2024 observation period. Customer transaction data were transformed into LRFM attributes, normalized using Min-Max Normalization, and clustered using the SOM algorithm. The clustering quality was evaluated using Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI), while CLV analysis was employed to assess the economic contribution of each customer segment. The results indicate that the optimal SOM configuration successfully generated three customer segments with a Silhouette Score of 0.6026 and a DBI value of 0.5644. Based on CLV analysis, the identified segments were classified as Core Customers, New Customers, and Lost Customers. The findings demonstrate that each segment exhibits distinct behavioral and economic characteristics, enabling more targeted customer management strategies. The integration of LRFM, SOM, and CLV provides a comprehensive customer segmentation framework that supports customer prioritization, customer relationship management, and data-driven marketing decision-making.

Abstract

Manual plant irrigation often leads to inefficient water usage and delayed responses to changing environmental conditions. This study aims to develop and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring and automatic irrigation system using ESP32 and ESP32-CAM. The proposed system continuously monitors air temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity while simultaneously capturing plant images for remote observation through a web-based interface. A zero-order Sugeno Fuzzy Logic algorithm is employed to determine irrigation duration based on soil moisture and light intensity inputs, enabling adaptive watering decisions according to environmental conditions. Sensor data and captured images are transmitted to a remote server and displayed through a monitoring website for real-time access. Outdoor testing demonstrated that the system was able to continuously monitor environmental parameters, perform adaptive irrigation based on fuzzy inference results, successfully transmit sensor data to the database, and synchronize captured images with the web platform. The experimental results indicate that the proposed system can provide reliable monitoring and automated irrigation functions, supporting the implementation of IoT-based smart agriculture applications.

Abstract

Student violation management at SMK Negeri Muara Beliti is still conducted manually using record books, resulting in problems such as data entry errors, inefficient record retrieval, and delays in report generation. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student violation management application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, combined with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) as a security feature. RAD was selected for its ability to accelerate development through incremental prototyping with active user involvement at each evaluation stage. The development phases include Requirement Planning, User Design, Construction, and Cutover. The system was built using Python with the Flask framework, an SQLite database, and an interface based on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. RBAC was applied to regulate user access rights according to three defined roles—admin, counseling teacher (guru BK), and student—ensuring data security and integrity throughout the system. System testing was conducted using the black-box testing method across all major features. The results demonstrate that the developed application significantly improves the efficiency of violation recording, management, and reporting compared to the previous manual approach, producing a structured, fast, and accurate information system that meets the needs of the schoolFuture development is expected to integrate a WhatsApp Gateway for automatic notifications to parents and to involve broader-scale user evaluations to further enhance the system's effectiveness.
